When saving corn to plant again,,you dont want to save the stunted deformed tiny corn cobs,,you'll just get more stunted deformed corn. You need to save big healthy,,full of kernels ears. When you save the right ears,,you can breed that crappy stunted stuff out in 4 or 5 years. ❤❤❤ take care swee tee Ttyl,,,Marlon

      @@filipinalife I think I'd plant enough sweet corn for the family to have some. Good thing about corn,,,it should grow in the rocks if it has enough soil to take root. I have a buddy that farms 500 hectare of corn for animal feed,,its cool because its completely automated. The harvester machine even strips the corn from the ear. I'd have fun farming with you,,,you know things I dont and I know things that you dont. I know it's something you can never afford,,but I'd rent a mini excavator for a week and get rid of tons of rocks and alot of brush. Lol it's fun to dream 🤪🥳❤❤

      The mini excavator hire is a great idea imo. Crishel could form the path properly using the small rocks, as she said it's about 100 metres to the road. Since you don't use the chicken eggs, only for meat, have you thought about raising rabbits over there? Rabbit tastes almost exactly like chicken (I think better) and can produce quite a bit more meat. Also can eat exclusively vegitation you can just go and cut wild. And their poo is some of the best fertilizer in the world.

  • @goatman3828
    @goatman3828 Месяц назад +3

    Use new seed. You have a lot of cross pollination going on. You have no idea what will actually grow from any of your collected seed.
    Also, and I say this politely, we wouldn't even bother with a fieldcorn crop that stunted wouldn't be worth the labor or the fuel. There are dozens, if not hundredes of varities of corn that would return 5 to 10 tomes that yield. Do a quick search online and you should easily find a better seed. It requires the same amount of work to harvest at 50 tons/acre as 120 tons/acre. And the small amount you use should be pretty affordable. Use a glass container with a good sealing lid to keep seed corn. Dim/dark place. Will keep for years. And again, I highly encourage you to not plant seed from your crop.

So I try to help when I think I can. She gives the most honest and true blog I have ever seen. No fluffy lies, no fancy edits. Just her real (hard) actual life. Often people far away have ways of doing something you had never even thought of. So for everything I try to show her a possible better way, she has shown me at least as many. I think that whole family is awesome. And if I can guide them a bit, it is me who gets the reward. Not everyone grew up with horses pulling the equipment. My father did. And I tried to learn as much as I could. There are a thousand ways to do something. Finding what works best for you can only happen if you know about all those ways. @goatman3828 I agree with you Goatman.
      The family lost money on the fishpond adventure. On top of that, RUclips takes 30 per cent of the RUclips earnings each month and then there is a growing Sophia to feed and clothe. Not easy. As far as I know, Crishel gets zero child support from the American father of Sophia which is a crime in itself. I help where I can with money via PayPal, as Sophia is a beautiful child and is not going to wanting as long as I am still above the ground and working.
