Cut the pumpkin in half . Use a spoon to take the seeds out. Cut into 1/2 again (quarters), use a vegetable peeler to get the skin off. Then slice/cut into smaller pieces.

I’m a vegetarian but I eat some fish and some eggs so I saw vegetarians picking the watermelon rind too but they did vinegar and shoyu and sometimes a little chili pepper. What kind of miso is that, just regular miso? I want to try that. Your pumpkin dish I think I can try too with age’ tofu (deep fried tofu ) instead of pork so I can eat it. Love your channel ❤ My dad grew up very poor and his way of showing love to us was with food but he made sure each of his children had a home when we were adults and he taught me about how important it was to be financially stable, but he was also very giving to others. I always making tsukemono using miso paste. You can use any dried fish instead of meat. The saltiness of dried fish is perfectly balanced to the Pumpkin dish.
