Me and my boyfriend watched the TV in shock today. We were upset. We have been mad for two weeks at the news media trolls and social media trolls for hounding her. Don't get me started on H&M! William is a Saint. God save The King and Prince of Wales.

I had major abdominal surgery for cancer on March 8th and HRH, the Princess of Wales' message "You are not alone" meant so much to me and brought tears. God bless her. I send this lovely lady my heartfelt wishes for a fast and complete recovery.

My mum had extensive abdominal surgery for third stage colon cancer followed by preventative chemotherapy in her late fifties. She made a full recovery with no recurrence, so I have every hope that Princess Catherine will come through this brilliantly xx

James Middleton had an absolutely heartwarming post today about him and the family supporting his sister as they, together, conquer this mountain. I admire the Princess of Wales' courage in facing the world in such an honest and open manner, and I hope her family is given a break for awhile. Conversely, I was a little offended by the Sussexes' pro forma statement calling her Kate, as it assumes an intimacy that no longer exists, and the princess has publicly said she prefers to be called Catherine as an adult.
My anger is incandescent with everyone who bashed and bullied Catherine, Princess of Wales. How dare they.
Yes, especially what Harry has allowed to happen with all the accusations against her, by letting this cancer nasty monster he let infiltrate their lives! The man baby blames his mother’s death for his issues in life, but doesn’t give a second thought about Princess Catherine’s children, his own niece and nephews having to deal with their mother having cancer!!!
Especially the duo from overseas, they've added to her stress in unimaginable ways, they are an absolutely horrid couple and should be ashamed of themselves.

William has the full support of a large extended royal family, and the Middleton family, both work wise and personally. Queen Camilla has been doing marvellous work in filling in for the King, and she too has a huge responsibility on her shoulders.

I've survived stage 3 breast cancer twice. Once at the age of 28 and again at the age of 57. Cancer is no longer a death sentence. There has been amazing advances made in the treatment of cancer. Our dear Princess Catherine has a GREAT chance of defeating this horrible disease.

Sad to say that it depends on the type of cancer, and how early it’s been caught. My daughter’s at the age of 20 was caught early and by its nature was slow to develop. My husband’s was not caught as early, and the type of cancer he has, has a survival rate of 26% over 2 years. Given the number of biopsied nodes that showed cancer cells, we can only hope that the post-op chemotherapy has moped them up successfully. 14 months on from life-changing surgery he’s doing ok. Some of the people who had the same treatment had reoccurrence within three months, and passed just weeks afterward.
After everything Catherine and the family have been put through, her message shows the pure strength of her spirit and the empathy that she has for others.

I am a 64 year old woman who is currently dealing with my SIXTH cancer ( lung) and am having surgery in early April. Fortunately, I get to struggle in PRIVATE. It is really sad that the Princess of Wales couldn’t be allowed to, also. Praying for all of us, including HMTK who are currently going through cancer. It’s a club none of us wanted to be members of- trust me.

It’s okay to cry River. I cried when I heard her broadcast. Such a shock. I went through cancer treatment in 2022 which lasted until one year ago. I will pray for her as others prayed for me. When the doctor told me my diagnosis, I felt like the rug had been pulled from under me. But the oncologists, radiologist, surgeon and all the dear compassionate nurses and others were so kind and positive that I couldn’t help but feel like everything would be fine. I also had the companionship of my Savior, Jesus Christ, by my side through the whole ordeal. I know that Princess Catherine has a wonderful supportive family, parents, brother and sister.
I’m battling breast cancer right now so this news just brought me undone because at least my two boys are 19 and 24 rather than wee little babies like Catherine’s. She’ll come through it though. She’s strong and will have the best of care ❤❤❤❤

A surgeon once told me that there are so many cancer survivors but people only hear about the bad endings because the survivors want to forget their cancer years.
It must be very similar to having been through a war...survivors of that trauma seldom want to relive the experience.

I am an American & I agree that most of us here love the Royal Family & especially Prince William & Princess Catherine & their children. There have been great advances in the medical field regarding cancer treatment. Princess Catherine is a young,strong, & otherwise healthy person. I am sure she will conquer this & come out of it stronger than ever. My daughter was only 32 years old with breast cancer, raising two children under 4 years old. That was 25 years ago. You can be sure that you have all of our love & support.

The past few weeks was horrific, seeing so many people (including public figures) tear into Princess Catherine and actually delight in spreading rumor and sordid salacious gossip. They thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it. It was horrific to see that type of evil show its face in so many. I recently lost my lovely Mam to cancer, who was also a basketeer after I’d introduced you to her. She was diagnosed stage 4 in Jan ‘23 and fought it until Feb just gone. I know the Royals will have the best treatment available - better than what my Mam or any of my friends that have suffered could ask for. But it doesn’t take away the vile and cruelness of this disease. It doesn’t matter how privileged or poor you are, cancer does not discriminate. We are all human and with the Princess coming out with this news brings us together for comfort - those that have suffered or family/friends that have suffered. I hope the media will finally back off and leave her alone. Princess Catherine and the family are in my thoughts and prayers for the road ahead, I know it can be a hard one. Thank you, River for all you do.

Thirty years ago my husband was diagnosed with stage 3 bowel cancer at the young age of 32. It's a brutal operation, 8 weeks just recovering not to mention the mental grief. Chemo is also brutal. There were days he couldn't get out of bed. He is a survivor and is with me today.. I have never forgotten what he went through. I do believe the stress dealing with that horrible couple overseas cannot have helped. Princess Catherine is good and kind and the Hounds from Hell need to go back home to their master. He's calling them.
That’s not all the stress she had been dealing with. This stress has been going on for years.

My mum had bowel cancer and she was rushed to hospital with severe anaemia as the tumour was bleeding and may have been the reason Kate was rushed to hospital. She spent a few months at a rehab centre recovering from the surgery.
The hounds from hell are calling you home is so true. I have a feeling they are going to be exposed soon and all of their ilk, the sooner the better. The world will be a better place when their influence is gone.
I hope John Oliver and Kim Kardashian and everyone else that made a crass joke about the Princess for their own enjoyment feels like crap today. They should be ashamed and apologies are in order. I thought the same about Catherine’s hands; to the viewer who sent River the message that she thought Catherine was trying to send a secret message; give me a break! When will these conspiracy theorists stop! No one of any intelligence for one moment thought she was sending any secret message about abuse. William and Catherine are devoted to each other and their children; her hands were moving and twisting because this is upsetting for her and she has been bullied into making a statement about a very private matter. Can you tell us a little bit of the sintoms
I think back to the first function William stood in for his father and everyone was slagging him for wobbling a bit, blinking back tears as they played God save the King, questioning if he was fit to rule. I say he is more than fit to rule and then some because through his father facing cancer, his wife facing cancer, three children at home and that mess on the west coast he has held it together and carried on!
The Royal Family is very strong. I wouldn't be able to keep it together like Prince William 😢

I saw him stand and move slightly back and forth during the national anthem. I didn’t see it as odd or that pronounced. You could tell there was something weighing heavily on him. Hearing the Princess of Wales reveal her cancer diagnosis brought me to tears. I was reminded of when my husband and I learned of his cancer diagnosis almost 3 years ago. It is the most painful words to hear and I can only imagine how much more horrible it is for one so young with such young children. Catherine, William, and the children will remain in our prayers. It's so very sad.
I just completed a year of preventative chemotherapy which left me very tired. One year and cancer free. The family is in my prayers. Cancer is not something I would wish on my worse enemy. I love the royal family and I have nothing but prayers for the family and for the kids.

That’s wonderful news! My diagnosis was 2013, Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. 80% involvement in my bone marrow. What I found was the mental and emotional toll was every bit a burden as the shock of hearing that word.

My family and friends stood out in the pouring rain to see them sail and they were so friendly and engaging to all. This news has covered our newspapers and online sites and I want to tell you that all I have seen is an outpouring of love and prayers being sent for Princess Catherine and also King Charles from the Bahamian people. As a cancer warrior myself, ( note: i am not a survivor), it meant a great deal to me. I was diagnosed 16 yrs ago with little hope for a good prognosis. In my opinion proper treatment, positive attitude, and a strong support system highly increase the success of fighting it. Our beloved Princess definitely has these in her favor.

My heart broke at the announcement. She did the announcement with her usual grace and class. She has been treated horribly and the 'celebrities' who have been bullying her should look at their hearts because they are looking quite dark. I had cancer at age 60. I am now 88 years old . Cancer treatment seems to have even better outcomes now than at my time . I pray that our beloved Princess Catherine will have , as i did, a quick and total recovery. I know that prayer somehow gave me great strength and I know our prayers for dear Catherine will be answered.

I was truly impressed by Princess Catherine's courage, poise and grace as she announced her cancer diagnosis. I immediately thought how difficult it must have been for her and Prince William to break the news to their children. Her thoughts for those who have been affected by cancer and reminding them that they are not alone was a hopeful and encouraging tone at the end of an announcement that was both poignant and quite brave. I pray for Princess Catherine's full recovery, and I hope she can now focus entirely on her health rather than the nonsense she has endured over the last several weeks.

I had a hysterectomy at 29 due to cervical cancer related issues. I won't ever have children and it nearly killed me both physically and later mentally. But now i look back, I appreciate everything I have got. They can do amazing things medically nowadays, sending best wishes to the Wales family!!

Only a week ago, an article was "suspicious" of why Prince William had missed an engagement. The paper should at least have known, by then, that a relative of Prince William's had committed suicide.

She looked scared about her diagnosis and stressed and dismayed, probably from the thought of attempted hacks of her medical records. Then I cried again watching you read her statement. For all the giggles and naughtiness you provide on your channel, at the core of it all, you are a warm, kind and good person with a heart of gold. It shines through always, but especially in this episode. In reference to “tip-gate,” I know how much time and love you pour into these broadcasts, and I consider my contributions to your tip jar more worth-while than anything I pay to Netflix or Amazon for their garbage. When I was 36, I was diagnosed with cancer and ended up with a hysterectomy. I went through grueling treatment which took a year to recover from the effects. I am turning 70 this year. You really learn that life is precious and I totally understand the emotional turmoil she must be going through in regards to her young family. My children were 14, 11, and 9 at the time. My hubby was my rock through it all (I'm praying for him). It is my hope and prayer that Kate comes through it all in a similar way.
