Prices will vary depending on the store you choose to shop at. $0.94 for a carton of eggs at Aldi right now.

The idea of the video is to show how the costs differ at each store!

@@ToTheTwinCities sure but a lot of stores are regionally based, think Cub Foods. Not all states offer Aldi. So much to consider.

It’s great for the wealthy or the poor. In between? Meh. I’m working class and have continuously had difficulty finding housing in my budget.
If it’s affordable to me and in a decent neighborhood then it’s usually going to be income restricted housing meaning you need to make under a certain amount to qualify to live there. These properties wipe out a huge percentage of housing in my income bracket. I always make just a tiny amount over these restrictions.
I’m left looking for housing that is in poor condition, more crime than average, zero amenities. Because believe me, if housing is subsidized they make damn sure it’s in excellent condition.
The COL here isn’t high compared to other places but as someone who has lived here for many years I can say it’s definitely increasing at a faster than average rate.
Buying a house? Expensive like anywhere else. Especially for what you get which are tons of dated homes which need quite a bit of work. Definitely cheaper than other places though but will never be in my price range even working 2 jobs.
He talks about $150k homes? Where? In non live able condition in North Minneapolis? I watch available housing in the cheaper suburbs and it’s going about $300k for a dated home that’s in livable conditions.

We are enjoying the content. I've lived in Chicago before but we've decided when we leave Nashville, we are headed to Houston for a couple years and ultimately settling down in Minneapolis after. How is the area for a 40+ couple with no children?

Do you think the twin cities are gonna increase in price much in the downtown areas in a couple of years from now or will they stay similar? I'm from the Denver metro area and I'm gonna stay there till I finish school but I wanna move soon after that. The twin cities looks like a really nice place to live in, it has all that I'm looking for in a city and it's house prices are fairly affordable, a lot better than Denver's at least. I hope they don't suddenly increase in price before I have a chance to move there.

Prices are already going up a lot in the desirable neighborhoods in Minneapolis proper. 1 beds in North Loop or Uptown are both starting around $1.5k to $1.6k right now. Cheaper than Denver, but a noticeable increase

The grocery store comparison sounds great, others in the list have already provided a good list of things to compare. Another topic I'd like to see a video about is the state of EV (Electric Vehicle) charging in and around the Twin Cities. Things like number of chargers, Tesla vs CCS, Level 1 vs Level 2 vs Level 3, the state of the chargers (CCS, especially Electrify America have been breaking down constantly), Locations (are they in good locations? bad locations? near highways, etc). How much do they cost. Things like that.
