*Taka* is Doing the Talking, and *Toru* like 'why am I here again, where is My Guitar 😅?
"i think thay perhaps there will be a time when we eventually return to our roots"
YES PLEASE
My thoughts are with you :)
100'000'000% AGREED
Fr I’m tired of the English speaking in their new music :/
Keep support One OK Rock. If the album feels unimpressive please check out their live versions. They are known as one of the best performer who be able to maintain their live version in amazing quality
Then listen to the other band They still going to international style till you die.
It's always sooo better for them to speak in their native language as they can really express what they have in mind.
I'm glad the interview is not English. I prefer the subtitles. Lol
Great article and great interview!
Is this the full interview? Or there's more? Pleaaaaase tell me there's moooore! ♡♡♡
i think its more exact when they speak english in interviews because although they know some english, they have slight trouble explaining some things
I understand you appriciate their clarity when they interview in Japanese, but plse try to appriciate how hard taka works at English and that he's the one who insists on responding in English whenever he does. They offer him a translator and give him the option to respond in Japanese, but he refuses because he wants to respond in English to get better. Please appriciate and respect his hard work.
This band is very talented when they explaining about music (especially when they express their true feelings in japanese language).. They will be amazing "lecturer" or "teacher" if they teach music class in the university. Not only about the band but Taka's vocal never die and their energy will never fade away if they really put all their might and heart into their performance (yess!! they are!!).. The only thing that can stop them is "aging" and "death" (i mean pls God bless them and give them a good health)
Snow Freezer taka's vocal is slowly dying.. I'm not hating.. But he can't even touch the higher note like he was did in their old song
Well.. its happened before actually. I watch some of their concert in 2015 in the western tour..Taka didn't really hit the "right note" like in studio ver and its not like it happened in every song and concert.. Like in their recent concert at Singapore,, when Taka sing "I was King" and "We Are", he still can hit the high note and "right note" accurately like in studio ver and he even change some part of it from low note to high note like in "We Are" at the line "Never tell yourself, you should be someone else".. What i mean by his vocal was he still got that energy for example he can sing while running and jumping around and like i said in above comment, "if they really put all their might and heart into their performance", Taka vocal or others energy, their energy will never dying.. Thats wht happened when you put all of your might when you do something.. And yea we are human, Taka is human. So their "dying" time will definitely will come visit you whether you want it or not (Undeniable)
Snow Freezer yeah i know about it.. But what i mean is.. He can't reach the note like in the song "Be The Light".. Maybe he can.. But not powerful like in 2014 yokohama.. Cos in yokohama sounds like belting but now he can reach that note only in Falset.. And u can hear the difference from his note between 2014 and now, the note got lower than 2014
yea..kinda flip flop a little too tho..but still sound amazing ..like when it come to their Japan concert, they just flawless..even in their Japan Ambitions 2017. WELL ITS THEIR HOMETOWN, OF COURSE THEY GO ALL OUT. In their old song yes.. But their new song he still sound amazing. Imo i noticed that Taka voice seems like its change to kinda "raspiness" recently.. His screaming improve time by time.. SO definitely it go "low range" when your voice change to raspy
Snow Freezer his voice got raspy.. But his old voice is so nice in high and low.. I listen to oor concert fancam.. When taka take low part.. Is not good as the old one
J-rock is one of the best rocks in the world.
Im crying T-T
I want to show this to those people who all the time yelling like "They are changing" or something that are worse than that. My thought was "If they gonna do any kinds of music that different from their root, I'll just listening to their music, listening what are they gonna explain to us in their lyrics and melodies'. The band cant be that the same all the time, not changing right? They have do something new, if not, wouldn't it be bored. I love and respect what they will decided, always, even im not a fan that longgg time😑
Thank you for the interview!! Taka's responses in japanese are usually a lot more substantial and profound than english ones so this interview is truly commendable :-))
Taka's smiling so cute at the end omg
The first song I've ever listened from them is THE BEGINNING. I still remember clearly It's almost covered in full english but still mixed with Japanese lyrics. That is what makes them special from the rest of the rock bands. They should NEVER EVER drift away from J-ROCK just to suit the taste of some country who's monolingual :(
(I mean personally Taking Off was ok, I was king was great, but AMERICAN girl? Gimme a break!)
Taka explained that American Girl was the producer's idea and Taka was initially reluctant to do it
@@catw Thats news.. Thanks for sharing. I hope they come out with a new album soon. I missed the time I went to their concert in Singapore.
So there is a hope for them to go back to their roots
Thank you for the English subs. I watch a lot of interviews with One OK Rock and am happy when I can find out what they are saying. Wish more people worldwide would discover One OK Rock because they are the greatest band.
Their music has touched me soo deeply and I'm all the way in South africa

Best Japanese band ever the best
Like if we need more One Ok Rock memes !!!
I'll love On Ok Rock again if they comeback to J rock, not some western music😞
Western direction is fine as it will introduce more diversity is Jrock
No it isn't. Most western music that isn't select rappers, or aggressive rock acts suck.
FUWA FUWA TIME
