I'm so proud of ONE OK ROCK. They're trying new things and aiming higher. I'm kinda sad cus many of the old fans didn't understand that they're changing because they wanted to open more chances oversea, but people have their own taste I guess. But for me I like to think that Eye of The Storm as an album where they're still discovering new things and I hope in the future the band will mix their own style with american style. Untill then, I'll just enjoy their improvement, a true fan is someone who supports the band no matter what type of music they make, not demanding the type of music they want to hear from the band🖤

Rabbid R29 It’s wonderful to explore genres and it’s great to encourage it, however, a “real fan” can review an album based on content not just because one ok rock released great music in the past. A good example of a band that switched up genres a bit is P!ATD, genre switched up but the music was still good. It all comes down to the fact that none of the Eye Of The Storm songs will be added to my OOR essentials playlist because the album is not great and quite frankly it’s forgettable. Definitely not being a hater though! Got tickets to see them March 12 (: but more excited to watch them perform songs that aren’t on this recent album.

I agree with everyone who says Taka is very comfortable talking to you. You know the band very well and ask pertinent questions not silly questions that some interviewers ask. You are by far the best interviewer and I hope there will be more in the future.

I’m completely new with ONE OK ROCK but daaaamn they’re GOOD.
Unfortunately taka is right, the rock scene is slowly dying and it makes me sad. Many bands have gotten softer do to it dying out.

It's extremely amazing that OOK, which is Japanese rock band is gonna perform with ED sheeran in Asia. I’m proud of them as a Japanese their fan even though the new album has countless reviews that mention their rock style is dead or something negative..And I'm the one who hope their old rock style comes back again.

BTW, Grow Old Die Young is a favorite of mine, but honestly, I LOVE THIS ALBUM!! Yes, totally different sound, but it's like a mix of sounds. And this album, you fall more in love with it the more you listen to it. So wonderful. Rob really does a great job with the questions. He asks a lot of questions we want to ask. This interview is different from another interview from this guy. The one where Brenden Urie from Panic! At the Disco was mentioned, I noticed Taka fidgeting a lot. In this Interview, he has clearly become more comfortable.
I will support them until they discovering their own style that can accept by anyone like his saying, fighting I believe you can do it, Taka!!!
It looks like he still has some difficulties of English but I can tell he's got way better than last couple years.
