Hey man, you're right. When NSYNC first started, Chris and Joey got more solo parts (not so much Lance because he sang bass). But after their first album, it became mostly Justin and JC. By their final album (Girlfriend is actually their final single), it was mostly the Justin show because the record label pushed Justin out front and center. From what I understand, it was basically his launching pad for his solo career. It's a shame because Chris, Joey, and even Lance all have great voices, but most people didn't really get to hear them. If you really want to hear Chris sing lead, check out "I Drive Myself Crazy," and Joey has a really nice part in "I Thought She Knew." I suggest the live concert version of that one. :)

Naaaa you aren't tripping amd was Justins ego in full swing... he has had an ego bigger than his career ever stood a chance of being since before nsync ever eveb got big...anyone who ever met the group always says "there were 4 nice guys and one who just whined and wanted to leave".... like the song "drive myself crazy" was written by JC and was supposed to be primarily JC but because of Justins usual whining and complaining they ended up splitting up the vocals between Chris, jc and Justin.... is why justin was always front and center of the videos snd front and center of concerts and front and center of albums etc etc etc.. he wasnt even the third best vocals in the group and he has always basically been a poor man's Michael Jackson knockoff who sings through his nose to the point that its obnoxious....

The singles from their last Cd “celebrity” really do feature Justin Timberlake more. I think the record company knew at that time and were grooming him to be a solo artist. Also, there’s a remix of this song with Nelly 😉 can’t wait until you react to the live NSYNC performances! I’m sure the “35 and over” club will tell ya what’s good!!

JC was definitely the best singer in the group. Even Justin said so. Unfortunately JC didn’t seem to have the clear lane and support that Justin got, so he obviously didn’t become the solo superstar that JT turned into. Justin’s relationship with Britney also helped.
JC also said he didn't really want to be a solo artist. He likes to collaborate or be a part of something.

Celebrity was cowritten by jc and Justin on 10/13 songs. Nsync was always bad about spreading leads around all the members. Justin was really the 3rd best singer at best with JC being the best and Chris being the next.
But out of all the members similar to bsb Justin was the one all the girls were really all about and made sense that he was the one to go solo.

By the time the album Celebrity came out, it was basically JT Featuring Nsync. Jive was getting JT ready for his solo career pretty much. Really with JC Chasez got a fair shot at a solo career.

Typically either JC or Justin would do the first verse, the other would do the second verse, and the third verse would be a mix of both, or occasionally whoever did the first verse would also do the third. "Gone" is really the only song that is all Justin, but I'm pretty sure he wrote the whole song himself. (And I agree, JC's voice is better by miles.)

JC had the best vocals hands down! Justin was just popular because of his "good looks" and "cute" hair. lol
JC is actually the best looking out of all of them, especially now when you have seen how the rest (including Justin) have aged. JC has that classic male model type look, while Justin just had that “youthful” boy look (cause he was the baby of the group of course).
