I’m so mad JC isn’t as big as Justin Timberlake. He always had the better voice in my opinion, but Justin had the looks, swag & just better connections throughout the industry in general which is why I think he was a lot more successful than the other four.
Man I love his dark hair and blue eyes. JC was so fine. But u right Justin had better connections and it was easy to push him out there because he was the "fan favorite" of the group. JC could have easily did the same songs as Justin. He had the real soulful voice.
This I Promise You, too. That highlights JC a little more, since he and Justin split verses. There’s a 30 minute harmony compilation someone made that is excellent.

However, NSYNC was also looking to crossover into an urban RnB (black) audience with this second album (with this song and “Gone”). Black audiences were really late to the party when it came to NSYNC. It wasn’t until Gone was released did Black audiences start to take them seriously; for some it was even later than that...not until Justin went solo! I knew they had soul from the first time I heard them sing; I saw something in them and just liked the group. I was a fan from the beginning. 😊💙
