This was one of my favourite Britney songs for years. I'm 32 and my young self remembers this song so well. I can even remember doing the dance moves LOL
I'm Britney's age and when these videos came out, they were EVERYTHING. She seemed to be the coolest thing on the planet: so confident and pretty and every song was a bop. Every time I hear these songs, they bring me back to the innocent and happy days :-)
"Shout out to my 35 and up club jammin to this cuz I know you're watching"... why you gotta call me out like that 😂. The nostalgia feels, they're real. I didn't even like this song when it came out and the nostalgia feels are STILL real.
"I feel like cell phones weren't that big during this time." Actually cell phones were huge during this time. You could take somebody's eye out with the antenna of one. 😂😂😂😂 I'll see myself out now....
dunno if anyone cares but if you're stoned like me atm then you can watch all the new series on instaflixxer. Been watching with my girlfriend these days =)
All I am gonna to say is that I love being a kid during that time. It was way simpler and this is totally nostalgic. The newer generations will never know how big Britney was back then.
I haven't heard this song in years, but still knew all the words. I remember I was living in Mexico for 6 months and just blasting this cd on my lil cd played just dancing and singing away Good times ❤️
I was 9 when this came out. Wow so long ago and so young. The good music times. Now I don't even listen to the radio but klove and of course all the oldies in my time. ❣️
I don’t ever comment but been watching over a year now. You have a shout out to your 35 year Crowd (39 here). I appreciate you sir. You were right took me back to graduation!!! Loving the 90s.
I was 8 years old and I always liked Britney when she did songs and MVs like this. She seemed happier and more comfortable. Also even at such a young age I understood everything they were singing about back then. Maybe it's because I grew up in an extended family wirh older cousins and spend most of my times with adults.
I was about 5 when her first cd came out. All did was watch TV (CN, MTV, Nickelodeon, WB11) my older sister had this CD and I would keep taking it cause there was no other way for me to listen this songs unless it was currently on MTV or the radio.
I’m 29, but Britney was really the only singer I and my group of friends got into as kids. I remember when this album came out, we memorized every word of every song, and memorized every dance step from every video. We came up with our own for the ones that didn’t have videos. We recorded and watched her “Britney in Hawaii” concert. My favorite memory of this song is when my group of friends and I were swinging on the swings at school, singing this song together as loud as we could, because we loved it and Britney so much! #FreeBritney
This and From the Bottom of My Broken Heart were my favorites of her first album. I used to pretend I'd sing this to a crush who had no idea I existed (or ignored me like that).
As a fellow Brittany I adored Britney Spears when I was young. Still like her. This album and BSB were the first two cds I got. Loving the millenial hour nostalgia.
I was eight years old and Britney was my idol. I religiously watched TRL every day and learned every moment of this video (and all her others, of course). The Baby One More Time CD was the first CD I ever owned. I had two copies for some reason (one was pastel purple and the other one was pastel orange) and a cassette copy I got for my ninth birthday. Britney is still the queen, always.
This was the very first Britney song I heard as a kid! It was playing in a restaurant in LA. I was around 5 and I was humming this song for quite sometime. When I actually saw the music video I fell in Love! Baby One More Time was my first album I ever had as a kid!
Haha. I'm 33. And remember listening to these songs in my school days. I don't remember the exact age I was. But I remember jamming to a few of her songs. And watching that one movie she was in. I can't remember the name.
@@brittanylamote3665 the movie she was in was crossroads. I remember growing up listening to britney spears and plus my sister loved crossroads growing up.
One point in time? I was bike riding when i first heard this lovely beat! My sister would listen to this whole album over and over especially oops i did it again! Drove me crazy! 😂 now hearing this i miss family being together again! Everybody moved on! But your right! Times were simpler and more better than social media!
I'm 31 and remember I was 9 years old when this song came out my Mom fell in love with it and that year for Christmas I got Britney Spears' CD and A T-shirt with her on it. I was a happy 10 year old.
In 99 I think is when this came out I was 14 and had just met my husband. Here we are almost 22 years later lol. This brought back some memories so did the Mandy Moore video bc they're about the same time. They were all over the radio Christina, Britney, Jessica, and Mandy.
I remember I was off school spending summer holiday in Germany with my family when the song came out ,I was probably 11years old.The song was on top of the German charts and everywhere we go the song was played over and over again. It brings me so many great memories of that time...
I first heard this in Middle School years after it came out, but it hit me hard cause its pretty much how I've always felt and wished I could articulate, but thats why we have Britney
Yes I'm having a nostalgic moment, lol, brit was my girl back then I knew the dance and everything. You hitting the note at the beginning was hilarious 😆😆 loved it.
"You're 35 and up club" lol heck yeah you know it! You should do a reaction to @ boy band called Boyzone, the song is called No Matter What. They are from Ireland but you would never know that hearing them sing. They have some good songs. One of their members passed away several years ago unexpectedly due to an undiagnosed heart condition. They have several good songs.
I was almost 2 when this song came out, but I’m almost 24 now and Britney Spears (plus Carrie “Angel” Underwood) are my all-time favorite artists! I hope you do more Britney!! Please react to Everytime, Me Against The Music, Slave 4 U, and Someday (I Will Understand)!
Second semester of 6th grade when this album dropped. Right after coming back from Christmas break. I bought it for a girl I was into who was into Britney as her first single came out a few months before in October 98. Such a simpler time. The only semi social media type thing was Aol Instant Messenger and weird Aol chatrooms.
When I was a little girl my dad would pick me up and dance with me to this song blasting in the living room haha I was 4 years old when the album came out and it’s my youngest memory the day I was given the CD lol I’m 26 years old now
I completely understand what u mean about how it was a more simpler time back then . The first time I heard this song was in January 2000 . I was only 9 and it was one of the best times of my life
I had just graduated from college when this song came out. Me and my friends did a month long tour in Europe I had this song and some N’Sync songs burned onto a CD to listen to on my walkman. That is how old this song was; it came out before the first iPod existed. It came out before the Euro, so we had to do currency exchanges in each country we visited. I miss my youth. 🙁
Yeah I remember when it came out in the summer of ‘99. I turned 16 that year. I know Britney doesn’t like the song, but it was a syrup-sweet love song that you can’t help but smile to.
I'm not gonna lie; I just turned 31, and I Know Every Word To This Song!!! I got really nostalgic watching this!!! If I could make one request it be: Blake Shelton's " Ol' Red"!!! Love you Billy!!! ♥️
Believe it or not, the reason why Britney was moving slightly stiff was because either before the video shoot or during the video shoot (one of the two), Britney sprained her ankle. When they planned the choreography for this video, Brit couldn't move like she wanted. She had to dance very light on her feet because her ankle was still healing at that time. You can tell she was injured based on how she dances in most of her other videos versus this one where she was moving more carefully and not as boldly.
This was one of my favourite Britney songs for years. I'm 32 and my young self remembers this song so well. I can even remember doing the dance moves LOL
Also 32 agree know this so well
Me too lol
Same
Im 32 too ladies and gentlemen ha ha ha from philippines
I was 30 yrs old & pregnant with my son, (51 now) I worked at a dental office, this song played every hour. Loved it then and still love it today 😊
I was a teenager when this came so I'm totally singing it right now! Makes feel like a teenager again!
I was 8 when this album came out and now I'm 30. Definitely nostalgic.
There is something intangible in Britney that makes her incomparably famous, iconic, loved and desirable.
I miss her.
This song and "From The Bottom of My Broken Heart" are my FAVES from her first album. 😍
Yes! I love from the bottom of my broken heart 💔
🎯🎯😍🥰
I was laying in bed all day recovering from spinal surgery when this song came out. Used to watch TRL to boost my spirits.

@Cesar Yehuda definitely, I've been watching on Instaflixxer for since december myself =)
Britney was and is a goddess. God gave her an extra pinch of everything when he created her.
I like Brit but goddess of what

I was 7 when this came out. This was my FAVE song. I played it nonstop.

Some of us are well under 35 and still jam out to it! 😅 People have discovered the gift of Britney at all different stages of life.😋

32 and jamming. So many memories. Coming home to TRL.
I’m 39. She is the same age as me so I literally lived thru my teen life thru her, BSB, and Nsync. Oh if I could only go back in time lol.
This is my favourite music video! It's the heart on the boardwalk... get's me every time haha
This and From the Bottom of My Broken Heart were my favorites of her first album. I used to pretend I'd sing this to a crush who had no idea I existed (or ignored me like that).
I was in the 8th grade when this came out. I can remember slow dancing to this.
Oh the old good days 💞
I'm 25 and britney was my favorite when I was a kid
I’m a Britney fan ever since “...Baby One More Time!”
I was a mom of a 8 year old daughter. She loved Brittney songs.
This brings back old memories of mine when i was 13. Gosh she is georgeos when i saw her at MTV Video. Now i’m 35🥲

I loved all the Britney songs lol and this was another one I sang on repeat :D drove people crazy lmfao!
I was little. And memorizing all her dances. Even my bestie at the time made one up with me for the song "lucky" LOL
I love Britney, she is so down to earth!
man, i was singing this one all the way through, probably the most honest and accurate description of me ever turned into music.
Yep, life was simple and I miss it so much. All I remember is seeing this on TV and it was summer vibes...:))
We love it! Keep the energy
One of my favorite moments when I was a kid was when Britney sang this song on an episode of The Famous Jett Jackson!
Pretty sure this was her second single right after Baby One More Time. Great choice for a follow-up.
Omg..my first love..his song for me..goodness I miss that feeling 💕.

I love Britney and this song she is my favorite female artist
Song came out in 1999 and this song reminds me of that summer which was awesome and more simpler.
