I love the Typhon 6s. It is just an absolute beast, and so versatile! Never wanted a buggy, but after watching and hearing so many say how great it was I picked on up. Man, so glad I did, truggified it, and is now unstoppable! Great video!
I like that you do all your test runs on parking lots and grass fields. There’s no dirt lots where I run, only grass. I get a great sense of how the units will perform in the grass. Thanks’
Nice video as always! Mojave Vs Typhon vs Maxx v2... What would you chose for doing basically what you do in this video? my indecision grows and grows every day😅
@@JayTeeRC i know😅 just looking for a tough out of the box fast and funny basher as my only(not first) RC car. Love the speed and toughness of Typhon and Mojave, but the maxx looks so fun with all those wheelies and it's apparently the toughest one. But, the other 2 are 6s for a similar price... Difficult decision and it's becomes more and more difficult everyday I keep on doubting😅😂
This will beat that. I had one in the Des went bad when I try to run 6s and then it got discontinued and couldn't find parts. It was a fast bug and handled well but comparing it to it ain't got nothing on this one
@@JayTeeRC yeah I was trying to be funny. I've still got mine but don't run it cause you can't find parts. It was my first true 8th scale and was so proud of it!
@@MBailey1977 it's a good buggy to be proud of. It ran good and fast but they never should have discontinued it. They should have kept it going. Like many other trucks and Buggies out there. I hate it that that happens because there were a lot of good products out there any good companies as well.
Great video beast I've had the arrma krayton that was crazy I've got the arrma Nero it's in the box with the diff brain Great condition how much do you think the Nero is worth 👍
I've had my eye on a Typhon for a long time, I first didn't like the body but it's growing on me. It just handles so well and I wanna use it for trailing and eventually take one to a track.
I got the new V5karton it does standing backflips straight out-of-the-box on 6s in the grass and good traction I love it I put some Outcast tires on it
I am not sure what magic I have going on but I took my typhon to the local bmx track and I came back with a bent front shock tower, a bent chassis and a deformed rear spring. This thing could not fly further if it had wings so I cant really fault it but I keep getting the feeling that my traxxas plastic would have bounced back where my arrma metal is bending, I am looking at upgrading the chassis to the exb version and I already paid $37 for the exb front shock tower and that $100 for the chassis is holding me back at the moment.
I have both V5s and I think that the Typhon 6s is a better RTR, but the Kraton 6s is a better basher. Idk which one is my favorite as of yet, but I think I’m leaning towards the Kraton 6s because of its EXB lineage (parts). Can’t go wrong with either. Can’t wait for the next video.
Surprised it didn't overheat in that thick grass. Looks like they've really stepped up their game. I have a 3s Typhon and a 3s Granite, and didn't really care for both, but I think it was the version when they came with the crappy controller, and cheaped out on the electronics a bit. Steering was sloppy and slow on both of those also. I'm DYING to try one of their new vehicles though, they all look pretty amazing!
This was my first Arrma vehicle, the Typhon 6S V5. I also have the Corally Python V2. The Armma has many things done better (better tyres, shocks, battery tray etc) however for some reason I prefer driving the Python.
@@JayTeeRC yah man it was the first thing I noticed unboxing it ! It's considerably heavier then my other 1/8 buggys . I had to order heavier shock springs to keep it from violently bottoming out on landings but with that extra weight it doesn't run hot so Arrma got that right . Thanks for another great video Jay Tee ! Your doing a great job 👍
Love your talking.. the music.. the content..
Great job J !!
I need to grab one, these handle so much better than short course trucks that roll and flip all the time. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
First time with 6s on my typhon today. Was running 4s. Holey crap it goes good. Thanks for the video.
Had my typhon 3s out this morning , i love it . Thinking about buying the typhon 6s. Thanks for sharing your vedio.
My favorite rtr buggy 🤩 nice run 👍
Great Bashing Jay!! I think a V5- Talion would be Epic!! I like Monster Trucks, but the Talion Looks so Mean!!

The stock typhon is a beast. I truggified mine. It’s a buzzsaw!
Nice jumps,love the buggy👌🏽

Bro i got the 3s and it's a beast!!
Put ur mojave tires on it...I'm getting one real soon
That's a good idea 💡 I'm going to see if they fit without rubbing on sharp turns
Still waiting on the 1/8th Speedster ExB. What happened to that one???
It ain't no duratrax 835e but it's nice 😁

When running metal spur gears, can you add oil or grease to decrease that grit-like sound?
thanks yall.
Love my kraton v5 also.

$600 plus easy
@@JayTeeRC thanks I might keep as a shelf and not use

I knew you couldn't wait to post a video! Lol I was worried for you on that back-lit attempt 🤣. That thing rips!

Would you say its better to pay the extra and get this 6s or should i just get the 3s?

Please 'Tee, no backflips on cement or asphalt ! No landing on asphalt period !! It makes me wince everytime you do it, but I do enjoy it ha-ha!
I don’t think that those ramps are still available… if you find them post a link please.
Nice run bro.
tks
The Typhon is a beast. Love mine 👍🏻
Been looking at one for weeks now. Just not sure if I want to bite the bullet! But gotta love that speed

V5 6's kraton
Radix 6s or typhon 6s?
coming
That's a tough one ! I'm still trying to decide to get the python v2 or Radix 6 🤷 I know there both the same but there are subtle differences
Definitely get a V5 Kraton JayTee. It is a lot of fun.
I do wish Arrma would offer it in a large scale 8s version 👍
Nice!
Hey Jay Tee where did you buy your ramp?
can't recall😌
I absolutely love my v5 typhon 6s but is it me or is it kinda heavy for a 8th scale buggy ?
it is
