@@putkins26 just have to swap for Kraton hexs, hubs, and stub axels. They work together for an extra inch of width 👍. Throw some offset 17mm hex Trencher 2.8's or MX28''s on and you're left with a much wider stance overall plus more cushion and ground clearance for rougher terrain. 🍻😎💪👊👊

Lol I was just shopping around for these parts for my Kraton project. I was kinda hoping to keep everything M2C as much as possible. So I was pumped when I seen these posted on his Facebook group. I really like the looks of this set it. Having it all bolted together. All the other manufacturers do a real good job at making strong durable parts. Mitch Looper adds something to the design that takes it to the next level.

Hey Rich The download travel on the shocks is pretty low. Is that normal on the 6s Typhon. My arms are level and running a m2c chassis thank god👍. Stock springs and thinking of running thicker oil?. My question is chassis slap is ok with minimal download on the stock typhon shocks.🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️. Thank you king arrma and bash king period
Yes indeed Brother 👊. There's limited travel and arms level is perfect 👌. Totally normal to achieve pretty easy chassis slap. You can experiment with heavier oils and just see if you like it. Shock set-up is such a preference thing. I always avoid too stiff or bouncy with mine. 🍻😎💪👊👊

Hey Mitch. Can you tell me what the benefit is by truggifing the Typhon? As well as if there are any drawbacks? Like turning radius, arms break since they are more exposed, etc... I want to see if I want to take the leap since I have most of the parts to do it already.
The benefit is a much more stable platform and the ability to mount bigger 2.8 MT wheels (Trenchers and MX28's) without wheel scrub on the hubs. There's no downside that I've experienced. It adds an inch of width and much more with offset wheels. 😎💪👊👊

Hey Rich love the videos man. Do you have any issues with the armma esc switch turning off on big jumps. Got mine mounted with the on switch forward but still keeps shutting off. Any suggestions? 😕
Thanks Brother 👊!!!! Yes indeed. It's been awhile since I had an issue, but I've had weak switches prone to shut off before. You might try mounting the switch sideways. I've zip tied or even taped mine in the on position before. I'm not a fan of sliding switches. The Hobbywing push button style are problem free. 🍻😎💪👊👊
Hey Brother 🤗. My original Truggified typhon uses stock dog bones and turnbuckles. My Truggified XL has Mojave arms, dog bones, and turnbuckles along with Mojave wheels and M2C +5mm hexes.
These mounts are so great i cant wait to get my hands on some.ive bent hinge pins sooo easily and it takes everything with them.i can imagine these pins will hold up nice.im getting a talion or an outcast soon and these will be on my immediate upgrade list.the typhon seriously flies tho.i can see why ots your favorite man🤘 whats your next favorite rig

Dude, how far you think you are flying that thing? Its amazing to see you run all your rigs. I saw your big rock video and I bought one. I put typhon 3s Rpm arms on it and longer turnbuckles and gained 1" width. I can still get the 10mm offset conversion and the proline wheels and probably gain another inch. Hey Connor. I'm using Kraton hexs, hubs, and stub axels for a wider, more stable stance. Adds about 1" total. Key upgrades are 4mm 7075 M2C Goliath Series chassis, M2C towers, M4 shock standoffs, suspension blocks, and 7075 chassis braces. Also use a Typhon Tbone Basher 6s front bumper and RPM rear skid plate. Wheels are Proline MX buggy. Here's a link to M2C Racing. My MT41O has been taking a break 👍. I'd borrowed the electronics for my eb48.4 awhile back. I do prefer my upgraded ARRMA's for hard bashing overall. The Tekno is smoother and handles great though. 🍻😎💪👊👊

It's up to you, but I can say the HR cases I've used have done great 💪. They only add like 4gm of weight each and won't crack or strip out. I honestly think they're a great investment. 🍻😎💪👊👊
Hey man just getting back into the hobby. Ran nitro years ago. I bought a 6s typhon and this new electric stuff is a totally different animal. Any tips on keeping front tires from coming unglued? Stock ones came apart and then I put duratrax wheels and tires on and same thing right away. Thanks to anyone who can give some suggestions
I recommend swapping in 200k center diff fluid and venting the tires. I use 1/8" sharpened brass tubing chucked in a drill. Makes venting super easy. Just tape over the rim holes. Duratrax makes nice tires, but the glue beads aren't always the best. 😎💪👊👊 ruclips.net/video/SJOYjbP8qT0/видео.html
No I didn't swap on Kraton arms. Just Kraton hexs, hubs, and stub axels. It adds about an inch of width and provides the extra clearance to run 2.8 size wheels. Adding Kraton arms would make it an Outcast "Hybrid". Did that also years ago. 🍻

Those are Redcat Mt10e Terremoto wheels 👍. I do like them overall, but the spokes are vulnerable. Maybe good for road and lighter mixed use bashing. They probably hold up better on a lighter 1/10th. 😎💪👊👊

Love that typhon. I also had a bad experience with the terremoto wheels on my typhon 3s. They look awesome but not meant for arrma power lol. Lol I was just shopping around for these parts for my Kraton project. I was kinda hoping to keep everything M2C as much as possible. So I was pumped when I seen these posted on his Facebook group. I really like the looks of this set it. Having it all bolted together. All the other manufacturers do a real good job at making strong durable parts. Mitch Looper adds something to the design that takes it to the next level.

The download travel on the shocks is pretty low. Is that normal on the 6s Typhon. My arms are level and running a m2c chassis thank god👍. Stock springs and thinking of running thicker oil?. Yes indeed Brother 👊. There's limited travel and arms level is perfect 👌. Totally normal to achieve pretty easy chassis slap. You can experiment with heavier oils and just see if you like it. Shock set-up is such a preference thing. I always avoid too stiff or bouncy with mine. 🍻😎💪👊👊

Hey Mitch. Can you tell me what the benefit is by truggifing the Typhon? As well as if there are any drawbacks? Like turning radius, arms break since they are more exposed, etc... I want to see if I want to take the leap since I have most of the parts to do it already.
The benefit is a much more stable platform and the ability to mount bigger 2.8 MT wheels (Trenchers and MX28's) without wheel scrub on the hubs. There's no downside that I've experienced. It adds an inch of width and much more with offset wheels. 😎💪👊👊

Thanks Brother 👊!!!! Yes indeed. It's been awhile since I had an issue, but I've had weak switches prone to shut off before. You might try mounting the switch sideways. I've zip tied or even taped mine in the on position before. I'm not a fan of sliding switches. The Hobbywing push button style are problem free. 🍻😎💪👊👊

Hey Brother 🤗. My original Truggified typhon uses stock dog bones and turnbuckles. My Truggified XL has Mojave arms, dog bones, and turnbuckles along with Mojave wheels and M2C +5mm hexes.
These mounts are so great i cant wait to get my hands on some.ive bent hinge pins sooo easily and it takes everything with them.i can imagine these pins will hold up nice.im getting a talion or an outcast soon and these will be on my immediate upgrade list.the typhon seriously flies tho.i can see why ots your favorite man🤘 whats your next favorite rig

Dude, how far you think you are flying that thing? Its amazing to see you run all your rigs. I saw your big rock video and I bought one. I put typhon 3s Rpm arms on it and longer turnbuckles and gained 1" width. I can still get the 10mm offset conversion and the proline wheels and probably gain another inch. Hey Connor. I'm using Kraton hexs, hubs, and stub axels for a wider, more stable stance. Adds about 1" total. Key upgrades are 4mm 7075 M2C Goliath Series chassis, M2C towers, M4 shock standoffs, suspension blocks, and 7075 chassis braces. Also use a Typhon Tbone Basher 6s front bumper and RPM rear skid plate. Wheels are Proline MX buggy. Here's a link to M2C Racing. It's up to you, but I can say the HR cases I've used have done great 💪. They only add like 4gm of weight each and won't crack or strip out. I honestly think they're a great investment. 🍻😎💪👊👊

Hey man just getting back into the hobby. Ran nitro years ago. I bought a 6s typhon and this new electric stuff is a totally different animal. Any tips on keeping front tires from coming unglued? Stock ones came apart and then I put duratrax wheels and tires on and same thing right away. Thanks to anyone who can give some suggestions
I recommend swapping in 200k center diff fluid and venting the tires. I use 1/8" sharpened brass tubing chucked in a drill. Makes venting super easy. Just tape over the rim holes. Duratrax makes nice tires, but the glue beads aren't always the best. 😎💪👊👊

No I didn't swap on Kraton arms. Just Kraton hexs, hubs, and stub axels. It adds about an inch of width and provides the extra clearance to run 2.8 size wheels. Adding Kraton arms would make it an Outcast "Hybrid". Did that also years ago. 🍻
