She speaks the truth. I do a lot of this and I seen my hair grow from childhood. I didn’t know how to take care of my hair as a child but as I got older and I figured out what to do. Learn your hair. See what makes your hair look and feel strong. Make sure It stays moisturized. Oil your scalp. Oil your ends. Eat clean and better. You will feel better. Your hair will thank you. Drink a lot of water. Drink smoothies. Don’t stress, and take care of yourself. This video was so good, y’all better listen if you want ya hair at ya boobies or yo ass
Great tips! The only one I wouldn't agree entirely with is the trimming. Most need trims to keep the hair growing healthy. But everyone needs to learn how often THEIR hair needs this. Me personally every 6 months has worked for me as I don't use direct heat in my hair. I get my hair pressed at most twice a year which is when I get my trim which is never a lot of hair needing to be trimmed off. My hair is now almost to my waist in 5 years from a tapered cut. Others may use blowdryers more often and that heat can dry out and cause damage if not used properly which can mean trimming more often. Native Americans have different type hair from most of us black folks, especially 4C ladies. And their diets are probably a lot different from all the processed food some partake in so that example wasn't really a logical one. As a stylist my clients trimming needs tend to differ according to how they handle their hair in between their visits to me. I educate them of course on things to do to maintain and obtain the length they're looking for.
This is so true my hair always never grew past a certain point but now since living on my own it’s been less stress and I take vitamins and eat “healthy” I eat pretty well but I don’t try to restrict myself if I am craving certain foods. I recently hit another plateau and so I realized that even though I was moisturizing my hair it was not locked in even if I did put a oil to keep in the moisture i just added to my hair so that is what I changed in my routine is 1) not wetting my hair on a daily basis and 2) when my hair “looks dry” then I take the time to re-moisturize. Which I have also been leaving my hair in twists to leave my hair alone 😅and for my hair to be easy to add moisture when it needs it. Thank you for this video even though I watched the old one just recently 🎃
I am snuggling with this right now. I am trying to form a routine now. I keep having breakage at the ends. But when I use a protein mask it seems to help.
To me you just don't even trim or dust your ends, someone pointed out on RUclips that you didn't do it when you were a little girl when your hair was long so why would you do it now? To me it's a scam to get you in the salon. I'm a dude and I've never fell for that trick.
📝 My issue is my hair breaks in the same area around the occipital every time no matter what. Been years trying to fix this. So I am constantly trimming to conceal that breakage in that area.
Just noticed that I spelled something incorrectly 😭 oh wells! Watch my last hair growth video here 👉 ruclips.net/video/U4lCIhFPp8E/видео.html

Do you straighten your hair and will you be doing a video on it if or when you do?
Possibly I will be straightening it soon and will record if I do!

thanks for sharing. I definitely understand in your case why that would be necessary. Do you typically deep condition weekly?
@@ShawntasWay I don’t, and not sure if I ever have consistently. More so 2 weeks. I can give it a go weekly to see if it helps that area.
@@ColdDiva get a 360 spray bottle give it light mist and add an oil.
