Top work by everyone at the Access team for producing another entertaining EP. You have brought much joy to us all this Festive Period and I cannot wait for the next EP!!!
Just introduced my eight year old daughter to this, and she loves it and are already asking when the next episode is due! I’ve been looking forward to Christmas maze every year since I first saw it three years ago, it’s always a breath of fresh air during an otherwise busy season, thank you guys for making us laugh! ❤
31:33 I don’t blame Ash for believing Rob Pearson when he said his dad beat Vulcan Raven for him in Metal Gear Solid the first go around. He was so convincing! 😂
Aww, Robert S. Pearson giving Ash his hate to wear was so wholesome. I love that even in competition, the Access team are still rooting for each other.
I can't believe of all the lies of Pearson that they fell for the really obvious lie! Of course Rob's dad who used to watch Rob play MGS like a Hollywood movie didn't beat a boss fight without any experience of gaming.
I have watched the Christmas maze for the last few years and it is always a highlight of the holiday season! I love you all and miss Nate a bit , but Robert S. Pearson has it this year!!!!
Love the creativity in this challenge, excellent idea! So glad to see this series back again, absolutely LOVE it! Always look forward to watching and trying the challenges myself. Keep up the awesome work
I've not yet finished the episode but I think boss related things are the best in these kinds of challenge episodes, so much is out of the players control to an extent.
I know I would be disqualified for this, but when Rob said you lose a ring if you step over the line, my immediate thought was that the person with the nose should have stepped across the line, walked over to the person throwing the rings, and had them stack all the rings on, then just accept the one-ring penalty. Not in the spirit of the challenge, not in the spirit of Christmas whatsoever, but sometimes you do what you gotta do to ensure yourself victory in the Christmas Maze. (Especially with two baubles on the line.)
Today was not a good day as it was announced that one of the greatest Fallout challenge runners, Paul of MittenSquad, has passed away, but the Christmas Maze has made the day a little better
7:33 - when Rob says the phone number was a short number I'm thinking LIE, back in the 90s I don't remember short phone numbers on Live & Kicking, they were regular long numbers....but we shall see, I am saying this is a lie though.
rob said he will remove 1 ring if they step over the line at the end of the 30 seconds... so take all rings, go to the stick and put them on, tell rob the rules are that he said he takes 1 ring off. and play with max minus 1 life attempts :)
I think the Mastermind story showed itself up as a lie when you mentioned applying online back in 2001 - it wasn’t as prevalent back then and I bet you’d have had to have a phone call or send in an actual physical entry form back then :) great show!!
Rob only said that your feet have to be behind the line. Im surprised no one tried laying on their back with head towards the thrower. Would be much easier to just drop the rings onto the 'nose'
I know Robert S. Pearson is supposed to be the 'bad guy' in this game, but does anyone else find themselves rooting for him, even if it means the Challengers Three lose the challenge? lol
This is what happens when you don't know anything about a game lol. All Rob heard that it was hard. Well, the first two bosses are two of the easiest in the game, Parade Master is harder because it's the first boss you face, but Mad Donkey most definitely is the easiest, even for a second boss. You have so much room with him. The other human bosses you dont have as much room, and the ones that you do have room against are way harder. I'm surprised Rosie didn't parry. But the Scrapped Watchman ... yeah he's the first real challenge of the game. No way Ash was going to do it in a few goes. Not that I didn't believe in her. He's just that hard to learn his movies in four attempts. Anyway, good job team that was fun!
#VODSquad Well done challengers! Don't feel too bad Ash, personally I found the scrapped watcher to be a very difficult early-game boss, and I ended up playing through NG+ and NG++ as well! (Not so subtle flex there...) Thank you so much for including my game of the year in the Christmas Maze, Mr Pearson!
There is a specific point in Rob's third story that gives away that it is a lie. It's his age. He says he was 11 years old. He was born in 1986. So when he was 11, it was 1997, and Metal Gear Solid was released in Europe in 1999. So basically he couldn't have played it because it was not yet released.
Lies of Pearson, what an incredible game! For the second question, if you could ever believe that Rob would choose FF9 over FF7, what gave it away was the online application form - the internet was not widely used at the time. For the third one, his dad wouldn't EVER approve a young man watching Psycho Mantis and Cyborg Ninja's introduction and be like "yeah this is totally fine"! As for a question from me to the Playstation Access team... The suit doesn't make Robert S. Pearson look slim; he has a rigorous training program that he follows every year to make sure he fits the one suit in time for the Christmas Maze. Truth, or lie?
Yeah def knew Rob was lying about Metal Gear Solid. Not just cos he’s the Metal Gear G but mainly because there is no way a Dad who isn’t a gamer would be able to do it so nonchalantly. Well played Mr S Pearson
Rob was sitting on that 'its the lies of pearson, not the truths of pearson' since he planned out this task all those months ago!
Everytime I hear the opening song I start getting hyped as hell. I love chrismas maze
Anyone know where I can get the tune to use it as a ringtone?
We had Rob Souls, BloodRobne, and now Lies of Pearson. I love the effort Robert S. Pearson puts into these episodes.
Next week it's going to be Robson Evil The Fourth.
I know it need not be said in this channel but Ashleigh Millman is a treasure and PSA got the jackpot when they burgled her from WhatCulture.
@@AbsoluteWoo i think that's more to do with rob stopping the friday features and nath stepping back from being on-camera tbh
Just wanted to come in to say a heartfelt thankyou to the ps access team and community ❤ due to the nature of my job i dont get to watch as many of their videos as I used to as a kid but every year around the holidays i get the chance to watch the christmas maze and I love watchin my fav creators simply havin fun together n playin some games I miss watchin their videos everyday n I wish everyone a merry christmas and happy holidays
This is such a creative and fun challenge. It's one of my favourite in the series. Thank you for the Christmas fun!
Yeah I was really impressed by how elaborate and interesting this challenge was.
Top work by everyone at the Access team for producing another entertaining EP.
You have brought much joy to us all this Festive Period and I cannot wait for the next EP!!!
Watching the slow motion replay of the ring toss, with Rosie laughing in the background absolutely sent me 😂
Loving the slow mo replays of the nose toss action
I about spat out my drink when Ash looked down and dropped all her rings. 😂
Really that was too funny😂😂
Just introduced my eight year old daughter to this, and she loves it and are already asking when the next episode is due! I’ve been looking forward to Christmas maze every year since I first saw it three years ago, it’s always a breath of fresh air during an otherwise busy season, thank you guys for making us laugh! ❤
You’ve outdone yourself Access, this was such an awesome episode 👌
Loved when The lies of Millman popped up, so funny! Every episode I'm on the edge of my seat rooting for the team and laughing at everyone's antics!
You got me with that last story - I thought truth too, should've known what was coming 😂
Robert S. Pearson has indeed turned up this heat in today's episode. I have a feeling that tomorrow's challenge may be even more devious.
He really has to be the most devious bas*ard in New York citayy
I can't believe of all the lies of Pearson that they fell for the really obvious lie! Of course Rob's dad who used to watch Rob play MGS like a Hollywood movie didn't beat a boss fight without any experience of gaming.
Christmas Maze is a genuine Christmas highlight, I've been looking forward to it since like July 😅. So glad it's back!!
Me too lol. I love this series so much, especially given how cold winter is. Nice to stay cosy at home with a hot chocolate
I have watched the Christmas maze for the last few years and it is always a highlight of the holiday season! I love you all and miss Nate a bit , but Robert S. Pearson has it this year!!!!
This was brilliant and i loved those instant replays. I wish everyone at Access a wonderful Christmas. 😊
Doesn't ever feel like Christmas until they drop the maze. Happy holidays, everyone
The look down nose drop was awesome
What an amazing and creative challenge! Christmas Maze living up to the hype (once again) ❤
Love the creativity in this challenge, excellent idea! So glad to see this series back again, absolutely LOVE it! Always look forward to watching and trying the challenges myself. Keep up the awesome work
My absolute favorite time of year - Christmas Maze time! I can never skip the opening.
Robert S. Pierson in the first episode: "I need to be crueler."
*Gives the team the first boss of Lies of P*
Rosies slowmo laugh when ash dropped the rings is how i imagine the parade master laughing
Rosie's confused face with "he's just in front of you" 🤣
36:18 Rosie looking like a psychopath in the slomo laughing 😂
Great to see recently released games are also getting some love in these challenges! Good pick for a boss challenge.
What a fantastic concept for a challenge. Loved it!
I like how, with the noses on, they look like they're at tryouts for Slipknot.
I bloody love the Christmas maze. You always have such fun ideas
So close... We could have heard Rob sing!
Greatest event on the greatest RUclips channel with the greatest people. Happy Christmas Team Access and Access fans.
30:00 "Asses to asses, dust to dust"
Long-nose David? No, no, that was Sogeking from Sniper Island
Dave looking like a member of Slipknot with that mask 😂
In work atm will catch up with this later on have fun everyone! Good luck Robert S. Pearson
I've not yet finished the episode but I think boss related things are the best in these kinds of challenge episodes, so much is out of the players control to an extent.
These are always brilliant.
'What did you get upto at work today dave?'
Dave 'well...'
😅
Those slow-motion sounds are hilarious!! Love it ❤😂
I know I would be disqualified for this, but when Rob said you lose a ring if you step over the line, my immediate thought was that the person with the nose should have stepped across the line, walked over to the person throwing the rings, and had them stack all the rings on, then just accept the one-ring penalty. Not in the spirit of the challenge, not in the spirit of Christmas whatsoever, but sometimes you do what you gotta do to ensure yourself victory in the Christmas Maze. (Especially with two baubles on the line.)
Almost spat my coffee out when ash dropped her rings lmao
35:00 He does have a clever point. 😂
I haven't seen how this turns out yet. But gotta say, the premise for this challenge is amazing. Well done, Robert S Pearson
Today was not a good day as it was announced that one of the greatest Fallout challenge runners, Paul of MittenSquad, has passed away, but the Christmas Maze has made the day a little better
Excellent work 🎉 so fun and funny 😂
7:33 - when Rob says the phone number was a short number I'm thinking LIE, back in the 90s I don't remember short phone numbers on Live & Kicking, they were regular long numbers....but we shall see, I am saying this is a lie though.
Dave’s foot went over the line once.
"O.G.G.!! O.G.G.!! Slice that Claudette Strop in 3!!!" 😁
rob said he will remove 1 ring if they step over the line at the end of the 30 seconds... so take all rings, go to the stick and put them on, tell rob the rules are that he said he takes 1 ring off. and play with max minus 1 life attempts :)
Those slow-mo's were the best.
David should have lost a ring because he did cross the line!
Rosie is a beast, her gaming intelligence is truly over 9,000
I love this channel ❤ Happy Holidays everyone!
I think the Mastermind story showed itself up as a lie when you mentioned applying online back in 2001 - it wasn’t as prevalent back then and I bet you’d have had to have a phone call or send in an actual physical entry form back then :) great show!!
Was thinking of that as well. Also he said late teen-early 20… that’s like 3 years apart at least.
Did he say he applied then or was that when the game was released?
@@mydogeatspuke I’m 43. Yes, the internet was in use widely, but it was nowhere near as ubiquitous as it is nowadays.
Dave should work in a circus :D he would be a good sea lion
When I was Butter Boy...
A LIE!
YOU WERE NEVER BUTTER BOY
#VODSQUAD Really enjoyed this one. Esp the story times with robert s pearson. Merry chrimboni homies x
Rob only said that your feet have to be behind the line. Im surprised no one tried laying on their back with head towards the thrower. Would be much easier to just drop the rings onto the 'nose'
I love this series!
However, think of how much more fun it would be if Robert S. Pearson actually challenged his contestants 😂
Hyped! Fingers crossed they win another crystal!
Marvellous stuff, another great episode!
47 mins of Christmas Maze, delicious.
I know Robert S. Pearson is supposed to be the 'bad guy' in this game, but does anyone else find themselves rooting for him, even if it means the Challengers Three lose the challenge? lol
A lies of P challenge eh? Well this will be interesting. Can't have a Christmas maze without a soulsborn game challenge after all.
The man could replace the villain from saw, any day any day
Love everything about this!
In the intro, still in my head "Im the elf" 😀
another year, another time that i wil try to find out what the intro song is called 😅 I really like how motivational it is
I smell a Lies of P challenge ahead..heheh
Knowing Rob.... it'll be something like complete the Tanker on MGS2 with no alerts. 😅
I think Robert S. Pearson took last years result personally
Gorgeous game and a great challenge
An excellent win for the team. Though who knows what else rob has in store in the other challenges.
Ash got done dirty with that boss lol
Not gonna lie, I was shocked that Ash is younger than Jurassic Park! 😄
Nice use of the action replays haha
Xmas maze. Best time of the year
Big Taskmaster energy on this one
Haha yes, that was exactly what I was thinking! Especially on those slo-mo replays.
@36:26 Rosie laughing in slow motion made me laugh
It was Dave's turn to let one rip now 8:54 🤣 Will Ash be next?
Good luck Robert S. Pearson
Ah. It's Would I Lie To You.
This is what happens when you don't know anything about a game lol. All Rob heard that it was hard. I so enjoy the Christmas Maze!
Oh this is a fun challenge. Love it
This was excellent!
I am excited.Let's go
loved it! another crack too???
I have a feeling the crack will get bigger every time and will have something to do with the final challenge.
I will have this done!!
Laxasia, would have been a good pic for the boss
Lads we'll have to get Dave a bigger pants. He's going to poke someone's eye out in one of these episodes 🫣🫣
This is amazing 😂
Why is no one mentioning the Crystal earned back in October?!?!
