Tbf if ur after a run u are better off going to there other lake rather than the main lake but yeah i wouldn't recommend the main lake .... orchards, mousehole, charlies, stour valley, bax farm, pitlands are a few i would recommend
Do you always use tubing becuz you care about slicing fish scales off or is it just the water’s requirement ? Why no pva bag on silt ? I used some yesterday in silt with a pva nugget in the bag plus one on the hook...for settling slowly onto silt/weed purposes not casting in to tree possibilities lol. Suppose it has many uses
It was just the way i decided to fish at that venue as iam always using pva bags and i wanted to change how i fished as sometimes in my mind i feel the fish get used to seeing pva bags and how the bait lays I like to use tungsten tubing yes because it helps with fish care but also being tungsten it will help pin the line down on the lake bed

Gotta admit i never thought about putting nuggets in the pva to help settle ... great idea
I wouldn’t use soli bags on silt especially thick silt
