Looks very similar to what I made and used exclusively last season. Bought mixed bird seed and soaked for 24 hours before boiling for an hour. I also added a big bag of frozen sweetcorn and two tins of chickpeas. Flavouring was two sachets of regular strawberry jelly ! Sometimes added a good glug of Baileys on the bank. Caught all the time on this. Cheap and cheerful !
I soak hemp for 24 hrs then after boiling for an hour and leaving in pan covered to cool down overnight the hemp is all well and Truly cracked and in full bloom
Yes i dont see why not but i would stir it daily but ultimately freezing it would be a safe option as well as i freeze all left over mix for the next trip
Hi, I make something virtually identical and when it's cool I transfer it all into large freezer bags before freezing the lot. You can take it out of the freezer the day before, and I've even taken frozen bags fishing to defrost during the session. Never be caught out without bait again !
No hemp in this mix i thought there was but there is not ... i tend to buy hemp separately and yeah i agree hemp needs a bit longer in the soak but ive never soaked for 48 hrs personally. Unfortunately the time i made that video we all blanked on that particular lake we was on but ive had some nice carp out in the past using spod mix ive made up as in video
not sure if its in it ill need to find out where i got it from but i usually buy a ready mixed bag of unprepared particle mix as is and haven't added any myself
Wonder he hasnt blocked his kitchen sink up. Also Banoffee stick mix, then adds a can of caramel condensed milk and defeats the object of using a flavour. Better to use plain condensed milk for the sweetness and cloud effect, and the banoffee for the flavour.

And the results? I’m doing spod preparation research. Many anglers say to soak for 48hrs for hemp to crack properly etc
