Many years ago, I was approached by a "Movie Producer" that wanted to use my '76 Monza in a movie, or so he said. Sounded like a sweet deal, they'd pay to ship the car from Georgia to California, pay for ME to fly there and put me up in a 5* Hotel. Pay me for the use of the car, and then ship it back and fly me back home. Sounded good right? Then they said *I* wasn't going to drive the car but a "Stunt Driver" would. OH HELL NO! As you said: My "Spidey sense" or "Suspicious nerve" was tingling, and I declined. Now this is a "heavily modded" car that looks nothing like stock. 'Glass L88 hood, huge aftermarket alloy wheels and tires, Custom rear wing (by me), and so on. I won't name the movie, but I saw it when it came out and saw all the cars used were stock looking Monza's and mostly Vegas (both "H-body" cars). The "Vega" part is a clue... 1988/1989 Reynard FC. I had three of them at different times. Very forgiving of sideways driving. Suspension rockers rust from the inside, lower frame fragile. Rex Gunning in Ohio builds reliable Pintos, cheap.
@@CaseyPutsch Reynard was a bit of a design disaster in 1985/1986 as they sold at least 4 different FF/F2000 cars with the 1986 F2000 Reynard being an exact copy of the very successful 1984 car. Adrian Reynard hired another designer and basically , he sucked. If you have an 1985 car is the radiator behind the driver like a Swift? Some 1984 parts may fit, but you may have the last remaining one! I went to the London race car show several times in the 1980's and hung out with Reynard and Rick Gorne, wild stories told!
Penon Composites on the west coast used to provide "improved" Reynard bodywork, not sure if they are still in business, thanks to a world of spec racecars.
It's a very elaborate and a costly operation, reminiscent of the movie Focus (Will Smith) that's been going on for a long time... They live and act the part, that passport is probably real (Jason Bourne had how many?) and bank accounts probably too... just be grateful you didn't add a few zeros to them. If you're talking about it I can only wonder how many RUclipsrs have been taken for already. And it makes sense as they have new money, as oppose to old money, obviously... and new money is easier to be taken than old money. Good Story! Cheers!
Sounds like DeLorean's hotel drug deal bust setup. On a different subject, how about less fluff videos with your " car of the future " racing other cars and something more detailed oriented. Like the emissions report, hypothetical collision results, and other safety requirements. Climate controls, air bags, headlights, spare tire all add up for a true apples to apples comparison.
Considering that this video is in fact the entirety of my reality and makes up the full 24 hours of a day, it has clearly vanished forever as I am incapable of doing more than one thing at a time.
Well Casey, i can't prove that its related, but remember, you have the "wrong opinions" bro, and you've made those opinions known, as of late. In the era of thought crimes, that might be considered a problem.
It seems like you are the type of guy who has connections. You're right hand path. Some people from the left hand path were likely trying to drag you in. Find out what your price is, find out if your ambition is greater than your morals. It's almost a little flattering in a sick way. Like the people from John Wick want to have you as a servant. Not very many people who are tested like that have an easy time passing. Hopefully it's not one of those things where they come friendly or with decorum at first and after you say no too many times you could lose your ability to operate very much even in what you consider legitimate. Hopefully this doesn't reveal more things you didn't want believe. A friend of mine owns a racing body that used to be very famous in the 70s. Chinese scammers came after his wife, got $25k out of her. Turns out she was unhappy. I think she's his ex wife now. Very sad story. A little different than multimillion dollar big table stuff. I thought my wife might be a scammer until I met her. I'm in Brazil with her right now.
Beyond the potential for becoming involved in something shady, by associations in the private / business sector, I think it worth considering that there could be a government agency affiliation, to foster y’all as a human asset, to a operation at some level, as a meat puppet, to the fascist mechanisms, in this nation and across the globe. I think the advice from y’all’s alphabet friends, was insightful, for their experience, and recognizing how things work on all sides of the fences.

What could it possibly do with his car. Its more about him saying something without backing it up more likely.
Swiss/UAE = Criminal hubs. My spidey sense always buzz with "salesmanlike" people. Given he wanted a physical asset/service, any legit dude would have flown to your home turf to get your pulse. Lastly, I hope you're able to scale that Omega gem.
Having done bunches of business in Switzerland over 30yrs… I think that’s very incorrect - the UAE, that’s even worse than doing business in FL.
Way to have fun integrity.
I hope some day soon I can buy a production version of the omega car or even a kit. Of course I don’t have two nickels but I can dream.
16:55 That's EXACTLY how the "Nigerian Prince scam" works.
You dodged a bullet.
This was a good PSA.
Someone is getting high off their own supply.
When a RUclipsR gets "Hit Up" I just have to laugh! Their little narcissistic egos get stoked and their mouths water!
Casey, I know a Nigerian Prince who needs help with the bank accounts of a deposed Minister of the Interior.
Personally I find Casey full of crap
Like a wannabe James Bond fiction writer or something. Weird how the story just happens to me and I have all the correspondance to prove it. I’ll have to work on all that fake stuff that happens. Thanks man!
Sounds like the guy thought "My handler gave me a fake passport, might as well use it"
Negitive Ghostrider The Pattern Is Full

@@CaseyPutsch i’m with ya Mav!!!
Stay strapped.
Delusions of grandeur much.
Your posture tells all. If this was upfront and straightforward you would be standing upright, well balanced.
Thank you Jordan Peterson.
good stories but please share the way you are getting so many MPG and performance , that's what we would all like to know and we can all work towards making the world a better place for the future of man kind
sharing is caring !!
Sending you all the money and you sent them money is a common scam tactic. But not quite on that level. Usually it's a couple hundred bucks or something.
pressure sales tactics are a REALLY good way to piss me off.
Keep your firearm handy and bless you

Nice screen name. Be original.
From a guy who made his username to look like a "YOuTuBeR"... but doesn't have any content or anything original to contribute... and is trolling for attention. You may wanna talk to someone about your Histronic Personality Disorder.
The reason why Casey doesn't like your name is because he doesn't like Whistlin diesel. Whistlin made a video on Casey a while back, so it's a real sensitive subject for him.
A decade ago I told some boomers that these niche electric roadster cars are going to be everywhere like iPhones and they laughed at me. I was wrong, because I said it would happen in about 3 years but it took 6, and now my neighborhood is lousy with Teslas. Your fuel efficient vehicle is no different now, and it’s not an EV. How can we all get one?
1988/1989 Reynard FC. I had three of them at different times. Very forgiving of sideways driving. Suspension rockers rust from the inside, lower frame fragile. Rex Gunning in Ohio builds reliable Pintos, cheap.
Good advice!
Mines a 1985. Any idea where to get body work?
Why not just hook up with someone on Shark Tank?
My bullsquirt alarm is past the point of going off. So much drama. Blah blah blah
Might want to have an insurance policy stashed away somewhere just in case!!!
did you document the omega build?
It's a very elaborate and a costly operation, reminiscent of the movie Focus (Will Smith) that's been going on for a long time... These are very sophisticated people that speak half a dozen and more languages...
Yes. Also, respectfully, take what you can get in due time.
id actually buy one of those, especially if it were to have a very strong after market
What happened to your Rolls Royce repair shop called Horse and Bull?
Considering that this video is in fact the entirety of my reality and makes up the full 24 hours of a day, it has clearly vanished forever as I am incapable of doing more than one thing at a time.
@@CaseyPutsch Gotcha! Glad to see you’ve shelved all the distracting stuff to focus on international espionage now.
@@jeddfahnestock3737 😁😁😁
Well Casey, i can't prove that its related, but remember, you have the "wrong opinions" bro, and you've made those opinions known, as of late. In the era of thought crimes, that might be considered a problem.
Good call. Nothing good would have same from that
Your paranoid, don't look a gift horse in the mouth!
Woof!
I enjoyed the story, I hope you're doing well.
Gosh you must be a very important person!
Your Spidie senses don’t seem to be that good. Seems like every business/race team deal has failed. May have to check yo self.
I am thankful that you are my neighbor.
Care to elaborate?
Wow it looks like the batmobile just in white
Nigerian prince has 10 million dollars for you just send his nephew 1 million to secure the deal
How much do u think it would cost to build the omega? N have u biult one for crash testing? It looks really cool in a almost exotic car sorta way ...I like it !
Good call
They did it to John Delorian You would NOT be the first.....The Omega gets TOO good MILAGE!!!!!and is TOO FAST!
Sounds like it was Andrew Tate 😂
I think you have been reading too many spy/thriller novels… I work with a few companies that do contract manufacturing in China, I have never heard of anything like that. I have seen the opposite, in a sense, they just would not comply with our requests until we granted them the respect of an in person meeting at their facility. Once we did that, the manufacturing process jumped right on schedule. I think you should stop reading conspiracy theories 😂. That being said, sadly the car world and specifically the racing world is full of dreamers (DeLorean comes to mind) and scammers.
Try the C suite level with important or sensitive tech…
Love your description of the con mans game against his victims. It fits Donnie T to a T. Leaves you in a conundrum as near as I can tell. But so does your diesel racer vs the electric car world. Wonder if you know this fact. ICE sales have been in decline since 2017 and while that continues the sales of BEVs and PHEVs continues growing.
You’re wrong in at least two points.
@@CaseyPutsch Well my take on con men is an opinion but it is one you describe as what they do.... That's a fact. As to your car.... stop making me laugh. Another fact. Your take on EV charging is all wrong.
John Delorean has left the chat:
How did you learn to make diesels efficient ?
How did you not look at the car?
Hmm a conspiracy... great... Take the car to Le Mans or something. That will prove EVERYTHING
Did you get an invite to Diddy's Freak Off???

You should’ve started the story with they were going to pay you a bunch of money and you had to send some back that’s automatic scam. The rest of the story was unnecessary. The fact that you were even considering the deal makes me wonder.
Exceptional people often have exceptional things happen to them. My family and some friends knew John Yettaw when he swam that lake in Myanmar to the opposition leaders home. A lot more happened than was ever reported. I'm sure this would have been similar, but not as beneficial.
Have you seen The Lost Century? You should get in touch with Steven Greer!
