I was excelled by my college because I was suffering from depression and anxiety at the time and it was so bad I couldn't go to class , I remember when I talked to my professor about this she thought I made it up and that skipping class was something that I chose to do, I felt helpless and hopeless at the time and my college didn't offer me a break instead they just kicked me out . I still have so much regret that I wasn't given enough time or opportunities to finish my degree ... I just hope the system can be more elastic and empathetic for the future youngsters

I try to think about that I am enough just being regular me, education doesn't MAKE YOU worthy or special or deserving of acceptance. Appealing to values is a trojan horse, because values are relative to everyone. Some people's values are based on their experience, religion, and level of self-interest. I grew up in the country on 40 acres. My dad sold the place a long time ago but I can still remember some of the trees there. The coolest ones had weird bends in them or barbed wire going through them etc. I wish we looked at people the same way we look at trees.
I wish that it was mandatory for people who homeschool to see a therapist at least every couple months because a lot of the time the parents take them out of school to make it that they don’t have any resources for literally everything

I grew up in the country on 40 acres. My dad sold the place a long time ago but I can still remember some of the trees there. The coolest ones had weird bends in them or barbed wire going through them etc. I wish we looked at people the same way we look at trees.
