But in this case, the time between the warning sirens and the actual bombing is so less, that you're pretty much dead if you're in a multi-story and can't get out of the bombing zone in time. It might also be that you might survive the "purple zone" by not staying in buildings altogether. But apart from that, you don't know which building are going to be destroyed until they are destroyed. I mean, the crosses on the buildings only appeared after the bombs dropped and made a boom. Meaning that they just mark the buildings where the bombs have already dropped, probably to let people know that they won't find any loot there or that there won't be any more bombs dropping on those buildings.
Fun fact : The emote where the character stuck his arms forward and legs together then jumped slightly is how the chinese version of a zombie works. These zombies date back to the old times. Its the ones wear you have to put a talosman or something on their face.
