It seems to me that a lot of the older generation talks this way- sort of rambling but in a really nice way. I guess they just grew up in a time where there wasn't any hurry to get the information out. It's not what we're used to but once you get used to it I really like it.
Somebody should tell Dean Nelson it's rude to point your finger
And by that I mean, Talese was very good.
Great interview.
ROLL TIDE ROLL Mr. Talese!!!
You are right. The guy is a clumsy interviewer in my opinion.
Like most interviewers
el libro retratos y encuentros d Gay Talese son
una buena y corta antología de algunos de sus mejores escritos
Is this dude the most dressed up journalist / writer and also one of the best
in modern journalism?

very interesting. persevere, in spite of everything.
the
interviewer needs a taylor
2-7-2010. Ain't it great? Gay Talese is 78. Happy Birthday, Gay.
Talese doesn't engage in conversation, he's monologist.
It serves him and us rather well, Kate Christian
I found the interviewer tedious and interruptive
It´s really difficult to be sitting close tu Guy Talese. He looks charming and the other looks like a garbage can.
...and a garbage can would be a better interviewer...
Let this be a lesson to all of us to always dress appropriately. We are visual creatures and being presentable is always important. This is the reason I don't wear sweatpants in public. The interviewer is a very poor dresser.
