I wanted to make a tribute about Sasha after yesterday’s episode and I hope I could do justice to her character. I know she’s very known for her love for food, and it was a personal choice of mine to not focus on this aspect of her character in this video, because a lot of people have been focusing on it already and wanted to try to bring something new about her. Her conversation with her father is very underrated imo so I focused on it a lot in the video, to show how Sasha grew to be selfless later on. Sasha doesn’t have iconic scenes like Eren or Reiner would but I hope you will still enjoy this video !

I wrote this already in the description but I wanted to write it in the comments again, just in case.
I wanted to make a tribute about Sasha after yesterday’s episode and I hope I could do justice to her character. I know she’s very known for her love for food, and it was a personal choice of mine to not focus on this aspect of her character in this video, because a lot of people have been focusing on it already and wanted to try to bring something new about her. Attack on Titan accomplished something that many modern artists fail to realize about female characters, they should be strong because they are strong, not strong specifically because they are female, they are good characters because they are good characters, and Sasha is a perfect example of this, funny, but also competent and badass when she needed to be, Rest In Peace
Isayama nailed at his female characters. I love his female characters so much, unlike other male writers' female characters. Especially in chapter 136.

This is exactly why Sasha is loved. Her personality, kindness, bravery, never giving up, and so much more.
Taking her away was a big chunk in our hearts and the whole fandom of Attack On Titan taken away.
We already experienced heart-breaking deaths- but this....this was too much.

She was supposed to die back in s2 against that titan defending the girl originally I think. This is a much better send off
Sasha was always the protector in the background. for me she cared more for others than herself, (even if she is little bit selfish with food lol) she has a tragic and unfair end, she spares the child who will kill her. Many people forget her glorious moments :
in the beginning of the series when everyone believed that Eren is dead she is the first to raise the morale of her comrades and who is ready to go into battle season 1, When Trost was attacked, she thought quick and saved a guy named Samuel who was falling by piercing his ankle with her gear ( it's dangerous for her as it left her with only one hook) season 1, She saved that little girl whitout 3DM equipement (she didn't even have to, she could have just walked away) season 2, At the battle at Wall Rose with Reiner B, she shielded Armin from the blast (no reason besides he is a weakling, she had the same level of protection that he did) season 2, During the Uprising Arc she saved Mikasa of the guy who will shoot her in season 3, She also saved connie from that Kenny's squad woman season 3 , and she saved Armin from the kenny's squad too in the cart season 3. she was not an useless comic relief character like so many people says, she was an extremely underrated character not highlighted enough, A savior who unfortunately could not be saved by someone, she also had a very good instinct, can hear noises coming from a far (she felt that someone get into the airship but nobody paid attention to it) she was an excellent observer due to her past as a hunter, her evolution as a sniper was logical and consistent with the character. That was Sasha Braus a great and noble soldier, a golden heart.

Sasha is that one character everybody loves, she’s that one character nobody can physically hate. She’s that one character that made people happy when she was happy, when she was there. When she ate! She was that one character who was an amazing character. A character who wasn’t evil, not a single bit of evil in her. She was that character you’d look at and say “hey, Sasha!!” That one character who mad the anime a bit better.
But Sasha was that one character who we knew would die soon.... that one character who’d come to an end, that person who’s going to not succeed in doing what she used to.
But Sasha is, and always will be that character we love...

I don’t mean to sound dramatic but I started watching Attack on Titan at 15. While watching Sasha, I saw myself. Not wanting anything to do with outsiders, being happy in her small village, I related to her.
But then she got out of her comfort zone, worked hard, fought bravely, and made friends. I loved her! I wanted to be just like her.. she made me want to grow as a person.
Watching her die yesterday was just heartbreaking.. But Sasha taught me to get out of my comfort zone and make relationships.. to learn to rely on others and in turn they will rely on you. I’m almost 19 now. I never thought a character could make an impact on my life like that.

She might not the main character, but she have her special place in everyone heart.. And she is a very important person for the other character in the series. She is a very nice, strong and kind girl.. Ive cried reading this, and now watching it in anime make it more and more painful and sad to watch.. She will always be miss.. Always.

I never cry watching an anime/manga because I knew its just a fictional character but AOT just build different. It successfully made me cried.
Now that she's gone all anime onlys will now know that the rest of the story will be more sad and depressing

Sasha’s death was so sudden and unexpected. I felt many things. Shivers, sadness, rage, sorrow. I’m not the kind of person who grows fond of characters, but Aot is totally different. I learnt to admire this sweet, funny and brave potato girl, who never stopped fighting even when she was scared to death. Maybe I kinda see myself in her for this reason and her death made my cry. She was a ray of light in such a cruel, but also beautiful world which is the one of Aot. A world which is beautiful because there are people who will to fight and move forward whatever happens. And Sasha was one of them. I will miss you so much, Potato Girl💔💔

Yes. It's a reminder that in this show important people die, and the Paradis people too even if they are badass.
Another sad part is also seeing how Connie's character will change in the story. I'm an anime-only so I'm only theorizing here. But I'm guessing that the Connie who made jokes and messed around with Sasha died off too. He lost his family and village and Sasha was the only person that kept his character. (So was Jean, but more on Sasha.) Connie is also the comic relief so it'll hurt to see a very animated and fun-loving character shift to someone they're not.

@@akutvgawa looking forward to the gabi one. Tbh every character in SNK shines in their own way, but Gabi is one of the most underrated because of the things she did (and will do). She represents so much and there's lots of parallels that can be drawn between her and Eren.
@@akutvgawa It would make sense to do a combined Gabi and Sasha one, using Kaya and Mr. Blouse as supporting characters, cause it's really the same thematic story. The motif of "the forest" is used for both characters.

I watched this through a blur of tears and wrote this comment with shaking hands. I can't believe that one of the brightest most joyful characters in Attack on Titan has left us. She had to leave her home. She watched her friends die. She has not had the best of lives but did good and is loved. (Sasha is honestly my favorite character) Sasha remained hopeful and true to herself to the sad end no matter how bad things got. She will be missed. The fandom will never forget her. God damn. I’m so sad. I’ll forever miss her character. She was one of the best. She helped everyone get through everything. She was mikasa first friend outside of the district. And Sasha became like family to her. She helped Jean grow. Helped Connie keep some of his hunor. She made everyone laugh. She was a sign of light. Of love and positivity. She made everything better: she was such a bright character. A great one. And now, she’s no longer there to help them get through it. They have to go on without her. This truly being out the beauty in her character. This is such a lovely piece to her characters story. Thank you for such a wonderful masterpiece, once again. This is my favorite so far.

Sasha was the best for me.

I just saw the episode ... What a shock I did not expect this nor to suffer so much ...
I love Sasha and even if she is not my favorite character, I have been crying for an hour now in front of this episode and in front of this magnificent AMV ... a real masterpiece by the way thank you very much... seriously, Sasha is going miss me so much, she didn't deserve this ... I feel broken ...And despite all the tears I have shed over Attack on titans, I will continue to claim that this is a masterpiece and one of the best anime and even probably the best anime ever. Seeing Sasha’s story come to end in such a tragic way brings so much pain to my heart. Seeing Connie saying that he loves Sasha and Jean more than the others lost during the battle then immediately losing Sasha hurts me to no end
Sasha 's hearing was excellent throughout the entire show, and because of Floch nobody was able to hear Gabi but her. Out of all the characters I definitely related to Sasha the most, rest in peace our potato girl, we miss you. :(

Even tho i love sasha so much, no one is really taking their time to understand where gabi is coming from. Everyone is taking their time to complain about sasha’s death when they could better use that time to understand gabi’s predicament. Gabi’s friends were killed RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER, her home is being destroyed, the community she knows and loves are being massacred, all gabi wants is for the eldians to be seen as good people and not monsters. When they attack liberio, all of her hardwork in improving the reputation of the eldians has gone to waste.
