Was hoping the profile and ground clearance was more IS500 and less Crown "Sedan". More Ioniq6 than Ioniq5. Or I guess closer to the Arteon than the taos to be more appropriate.
(60.5" height is the mid point between the Arteons' 56.8" and the Taos' 64.4/64.6". Ground clearance of 5.9" is closer to the Taos' 6.4" than the Arteons' 5.1. Sounds like splitting hairs but it shows)

Totally agree. I get that this is a bi-product of packing with the skateboard design, but man is it a dealbreaker for me.
An alternative would be placing it in a large center tunnel, but that would have a large impact on interior space. Hopefully, smaller solid-state batteries will change this in the future.
All of the BEV cars, with the exception of the Model 3/S and Lucid seem to have these jacked up proportions (ex Polestar 2).
I imagine that having a lower ride height is important to those of us who still choose a car over a Crossover. This car is going to flop unless it gains massive traction in China.

Guess you work with some amazing cars because for the normal folk, 6.5s to 60mph is considered pretty fast.
