I think just after the end of the recording she's gotten the cuddle of her life, she's not an idol within a group with a dozen of members (in a good idol group a little weep is enough for a mass public cuddling) but I'm sure she's well loved in her private.

this song is an ending from the demon slayer movie, which made me tear up in this first take and also made me cry in the movie.

After you watching the Demon Slayer movie these lyrics will have all new meaning. And this performance from that point on will break you every time.

She's such a fantastic vocalist. Her control and range are both incredible. And she's keenly aware of every breath she takes, every one enhances her delivery rather than taking anything away. Genuinely love all of her performances.

This performance is so incredible, even more with this piano arrangement ... Also, the lyrics become even more deep and powerful once you have see the Demon Slayer film ... LiSA really deserve her "Anime Queen" title, and is for sure my favourite singer, anime or not.

As for Demon Slayer it's a really great anime with amazing music (obviously) and insane animation. Litteraly the best animation you can find, the bar doesnt go any higher. They constantly win best animation of the year like it's nothing.

@@MikaGinelle it's absolutely my favorite ending. Seeing the photos of the heroes and villains in school, especially during the school festival arc was awesome. Plus the song gives you a feeling of youthful exuberance, even though it's quite sad.

Truh be told this is my favorite emotional song of all songs i ever heard. Cause when i seen the Demon Slayer Movie i cried and after that i cry every time i watch this first take. Cause it is just that emotional, that sad. You can feel the raw emotion she put into this song. It is just as beautiful as it is sad.
this whole thing is even more impressive when you realize she was on the verge of breaking down crying for a lot of this recording. IIRC she usually gets fairly emotional while singing but it was even worse here since she had just found out that her husband was having an affair around the same time as recording this, which is the things she was reminded of that she referenced after she finished singing
Your timeline is off. This video was recorded in October 2020 right when the movie was released. The affair didn't start until April 2021, and it broke wide open publicly at the end of July 2021.
This song is just perfect. The emotions, range, and effort put into this is so beautiful. I've listened to it so many times, and I still think about this performance.

she's belting an e5 in that song. It's almost as high as miku's hitting in sayonakidori, but maintains such amazing power and clarity throughout. She's just pitch perfect. I can't imagine how much time she's put into training her voice.

I was very lucky a cinema was showing Mugen Train and listening too this song after the movie was the cherry on the cake and really did make me cry so much emotion in her lyrics and voice is amazing

They are both called "The Home Take" instead of "The First Take", since they weren't filmed in the usual studio because of the pandemic, so they had to be filmed at home.

and it made me cry listen to it the first time and then again in her One Take video here

LiSa is such an Awesome singer, I'm an anime / manga fan since a long time (started around the age of 8 and I'm 29 now) and I'm deeply in love with how you're discovering the world of anime, my playlist is basically more than 400 anime songs taken along those 20 years being an anime fan and it means a lot to me to see someone enjoying them so much and discovering a whole new world hidden behind the curtain of "anime", people are always looking at me weirdly when I say I'm only listening to anime songs, so seing your channel remind me why they're so cool :)

I have goosebumps listening to this...watching her sing, and the emotions she puts behind it; and reading the lyrics while envisioning what`s happening for this season. OMG. This song was made for the movie of Demon slayer but if you watch the show the movie is basically the first part of season 2. Regardless, it is a very emotional part of the show so please do prepare a bundle of tissues, you might need it. You will need it. I didn't do it, I was not prepared, and I read the manga before watching the whole thing so I knew and yet... so trust me. The anime makes something happened inside you in a way the manga can't...

If you love LISA, you absolutely need to listen to her singing Ichibon no Takaramono, specifically the live version. It's one of those that will never fail to make someone cry. I mean, she herself cries during some performances of the song. Personally, I think its one of her best performances and songs, even with masterpieces like Homura and Gurenge.

This song was used for the Movie's theme/credit song and fits so well with the events of the movie/second season of the show. Great song so powerful.
In Japan/Asia countries in general body contact is just not a daily life thing, worst scenario people can even be arrested for a cuddle. Hugs/kisses are usually a thing between couples or really close people since not everyone is used to it.
iirc something bad happened to Lisa when she did this video, perhaps that's the second reason that she got so emotional except the story of the movie. You should be able to find the news online if you are interested.
Also, yes please check Saikai out. Lisa X Uru both super experienced singers performing a song written by the music producer of YOASOBI(Ayase), is probably one of the best duos I have ever heard.
