As long as we hack prime targets and health packs, no one complains. Especially at Grandmaster level, everyone usually trusts what the team picks since no one would pick a hero they don't know.
Hack health packs (200HP ones), drop your Translocator, stealth behind enemy team, hack tanks or kill healers or anyone else who is isolated, but never initiate on your own without the team to be the distraction. Best thing about Sombra is she gets her Ult fast especially from health pack pickups. This initiates a push and stops the enemy from pushing. She's very reliable and I encourage you to pick her up.
Can someone tell me when I should use my EMP? I'm a Tracer main looking to be a Sombra main. I'm getting the hang of it, but i still don't know when to use it. Thanks!
If the enemy team has a Lucio, save it solely for his ult. Usually when he uses it, the entire team will be clumped anyways so it'll hack everyone AND destroy the sound barriers. And don't solo ult. Don't panic ult. If you get ganged up on, just die. Your team was probably already dead anyways if you're getting ganged up on, so dying straight away is beneficial since you'll respawn with them instead of trying to survive and then dying when your team is already halfway back to the point.
Wabona D. Lol this is an old video. Sombra use to have 6 second Translocator until Blizzard buffed it. If you think that's crazy, Sombra Hack was 12 second cool down and today it's 8 seconds.

Don't know what world you live in, but on pc about 90% of players only pay attention to only voice chat. Besides, do you really think a silent "EMP is ready" while your teammates are fighting in a choke is enough communication? Communication is key in every team based game, ESPECIALLY with total strangers since those don't know you, don't know your callmaking and don't know your timings. You just lower your chances to win by being lazy and pressing the voice lines. Atleast that's how the comp games have been for me 99% of the time. No voice chat = -60% chance to win, voice chat = usually a total stomp.
