Just to mention you should back roller the DPM after trowelling it to create a uniform film thickness as per the data sheet. Also you wont get the coverage the tin states using that 3mm v notch trowel as it is designed abound a B1 and B2 notch as per the supplied trowel dependent upon RH% moisture content and the film thickness required.
Hi Kenny, dumb me had to look up "DPM" --> A damp proof membrane ("DPM") is a thin, sheet material used to prevent moisture transmission. Typically, a damp proof membrane is a polyethylene sheet laid under a concrete slab to prevent the concrete from gaining moisture.
Hey, yes you are totally correct. When it isn’t possible to use one of these e.g curing existing floors without changing the heights too much you use the liquid version that I am using here. If it where a new concrete slab then you would use the sheet material 👍🏻
In older buildings in the UK, DPM (polyethylene sheet) is rarely present. So instead of digging the floor up you can go over the quarry tiles with the liquid stuff instead. Very cost effective and quick
Hello, I like your videos very much. As a RUclips expert, I analyzed that your RUclips video is not getting proper views and subscribers. The reason is that, video isn't SEO completed, no low competitive and ranked tag used & didn't optimize the channel with white-hate SEO. If these issues are resolved, then your RUclips video views will increase. Do you know RUclips algorithm which channel prefer and increase their video impression & search result first?
Thanks mate! gonna give this a go 🤝🏼
Great stuff let me know how it goes
