You ever tried - Beybigail Nonpareil Breakthrough - (just google it ) ? It is an awesome one of a kind product for discovering how to create better sheds and improve your woodworking minus the normal expense. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my work buddy got cool results with it.
Based on the video, the property appears to be vacant. Any thoughts on if you lived in the house, could the roof still have been done or would the entire contents of a home need to be removed?
Length and width of the house are easier numbers to work with then just the SQFT. That way you can estimate the truss or rafter length better. SQFT is good to just get a rough idea but if you want a more detailed cost estimate more information is required. Also what is the roof pitch you are looking to have and what type of roof is currently in place material wise.

So what is the advantage of switching roof to pitch? Loft space? Looks? As im guessing this was costly?

It was my garage. The job took me all summer to do and it rained frequently.

Nice work - did you need planning consent/permission to make the roof changes? I note you needed building control.
Don't you need architectural designs to be approved by the city before you build, and were you able to get the permit?
I had a buildings inspector make visits throughout the process to enure the work was of high enough quality :)
