It is color accurate, it's just accurate to the actual digimon and not the model kit. The only gold Dukemon has is around his shoulders, knees, feet, shield, and the butt of the lance.
I don't get the lack of color critique. I think he's accurate too. It's not like this is the crimson mode...
because its an amplified version. amplified versions are not supposed to be accurate as the standard ones

@@mudawott I mean, neither of you are wrong in the fact that it is accurate to the Digimon, however, his complain is 100% valid as the box and promotional pictures literally shows several parts with more colors. Now, promotional pictures of models always look better because they are hand/airbrush painted, everyone knows that, however, its just that, they are painted, they don't add colors where the model doesn't has, unlike this one. Like he said, the model is great, but the box and promotional pictures show you something that, out of the box, just doesn't exist nor will be unless you go out of your way to paint it yourself.
Ooh, it looks pretty darn beautiful assembled as is. I just saw a video of a Japanese hobbyist painting the heck out of this thing and it looked incredible, to the point that I was worried how the actual unpainted figure looks.

The Amplified ver is basically X antibody ver already. Since we getting X-evolution series into Amplified, the release of Alphamon is pretty much confirmed already.

@@AnangRabo at least those look somewhat similar to their original looks, just upgraded. Dukemon amplified looks almost like Dukemon X but without the laser neon parts.
Gallantmon was my all0time favorite Digimon. I really want to pick this up and this review helped me with that decision

back when i first saw the previews and saw the stand for the shield, i was worried for a bit but i'm glad it can hold it without the stand.
I wish Bandai would make a Gallantmon Crimson Mode model kit
Not all Digimon have the same markings or colors when they reach mega, there can be slight variations in the coloring on different Digimon of the same family. It's like fur patterns on a cat, siblings may look similar but the details will always be different.

This would make for a very lengthy paint project but would be so worth it. Never been much one for injection metallic colours so I’d spray it all with metallic rattle cans
Question for the experienced gunpla builder. What type of paint do u guys suggest. Gloss or Matt finish?

Out of the box, this kit’s color accuracy is actually quite true to the anime, but it is not color accurate to the box / painted kit as shown in the box.

By the way, the way Bandi makign the pony tail and the cape, Angemon's long flocks of blonde hair and wings can be produced :D

Machinedramon Amplified IS the best. The articulation is unexpectedly good.
Now I am hoping for a shoutmon x7 or Omegashoutmon kit tbh my top 3 are Imperialdramon Omegamon and Dukemon, because these just look amazing i don't really mind the flimsy legs because i don't do much aerial poses

Not gonna lie... Gallantmon's designs is a lot more simpler, not a lot of color... If you didn't tell me that it has color correcting stickers, I never would've noticed.
Does the sliding effect part for the shield come as its own runner?
Even though it’s supposed to be Gallantmon/Dukemon there are so many edges to it, that it looks like Gallantmon X/Dukemon X just minus the blue glowing areas.

Woah that's more detail than the original design, it's almost as if it's an RG version of Gallantmon. The injection gold isn't even bad compared to Gundams. Also fun fact is that symbol on the chest cavity is a mark that basically means that that Digimon is far more dangerous and stronger than other Digimons on the same evolution level, though I can't remember other Digimons that also has that mark outside of Gallantmon's own evolution line
IIRC in canon the digital hazard symbol is only seen on Culumon, it's inverted on them though. It being exclusive to Guilmon is because of the threat its existence posed to the digital world as an accidental creation. A virus twisted from the base idea of agumon. Megidramon's digivolution required so much data it almost ripped apart both worlds. Its a unique symbol because of guilmons "unique" roll of being the main character

What’s the plugs in front of the shield used for?
Anybody else had an issue with a weak arm socket piece? as soon as I finished building him and set him up to hold his shield, the arm-socket piece snapped right off, hadn't moved it at all before that, dunno if I just got a bad piece or if this is a common issue.
I think they did tease some magnamon kit, I'm not sure if it's amplified or the regular one.
Mecha how bout wargreymon and blackwargreymon amplified, which one better?

Dukemon's probably my favorite of the Royal Knights but I swerved this kit for Mugendramon because it feels like they put too much unnecessary "flair" on this kit. A lot of people correctly point out that this design is leaning X-Antibody and while that has its place, I much prefer the sleek, rounded original design. And that cape...

Also hoping for Alphamon. That sword and wings would be sick in this styling (probably have massive weight issues though)
With Omegamon X already up for preorder, I don't think Bandai would redesign the normal one.
The upcoming Omegamon X Amplified is an updated of old kit already.
