CEE TEE is a good guy too. My Nitsch Pietus Maximus had an issue with the DAC/RCA switch from the moment I got it. I sent it back to him and he swapped the entire PCB on it and had it out the same day he got it for repair. Fast tech support work. Worked flawlessly after that. Does wonders for sound stage on HD6XX headphones.
I have one and I love it. It is super good with Grados and with the Kennerton GH50 JMs. The scratchy volume pot is about the only strike against it. Also works well as a pre into my tube speaker amp.
Really impressive and small, deceptively simple looking--big sound from a small package. Got this when it was first available and power for most of your phones is way good. A really good item you can put in your music system for a great diversion/ change from the expensive stuff out there.
Used my piety as a preamp in front of my vidar. Added a tubiness which was a great match with the vidar. The volume pot had a little noise but still fine. Love this device.
I've had my Magni Piety since late 2022 and it's nice to listen to every once in a while. Very different sound from my A90 Discrete. For $150 my only complaint is it sounds like it has a dirty pot and it's been like that since I got it.
What I don't understand is these are over a year old and supposedly they sold out really quickly but you can still buy them from their website in 2024? Am I missing something? I just bought one anyhow. Waiting for it to be shipped to the UK.

Good. Gear should be like the whiskey hobby; the experience with each one should be different. That being said, I still doubt an amp at this price range could make as much of a difference as changing to a different headphone.
I hope that the moon drop MIA D01 android phone with it's 3.5mm unbalanced and 4.4 mm balance pentaconn connector comes out since it has a 5,000 mah battery, 6.7 inches, 1080p 120 hz oled display but it uses a mediatek processor instead of a qualcomm processor. I want an android phone from topping, hiby, fiio, shangling, schitt with a volume knob on the side along with a 3.5 mm headphone jack and 4.4 balance pentaconn connector. Dac chips from ess sabre, burr brown, and akm and thx amps like the thx aaa 788, questyle, and woo audio.
I like it way better than the Asgard, in my opinion. It’s a little more dynamic than Asgard but still keeps the warmth. The Pietus Maximus takes it up a notch w resolution & refinement but also keeps the warmth & tubish flavor
Have a magni and a modi, never again, the amp didint last a year the first time, warranty replacement, new amp didint last 6 months....Never again will I buy a product from them. Dont get me wrong the stack sounded great on my Sundaras but I see some serious quality issues from my experience.

I love the sound of this little amp. This is one of the amps that I will never sell due to the great meaty tone that sounds great for rock and metal.

Sharper highs, Bloomier lows I'd say. Makes it sound bolder for sure but it's prone to some harshness in the upper-mid the Asgard 3 isn't.
