- Armando's Rhumba by Chick Corea. A song from the album "My Spanish Heart" 1976 - Originally this song was without drums and I play my interpretation how I feel the song can play with drums
Really great all around; the playing, technique, drum kit is tuned nicely, mixed well. I really liked the heel splashes on the hi hat you had going while you played the groove between the cowbell and snare, not something you see everyday.
Many thanks, if you noticed certain things, you are in the know
Spettacolare!! Grandissimo!
Grazie..
LOVE IT!!!!!
👌🏻👌🏻 Nice work, Domenico
thank you very much
Is this the traditional rumba drum beat? I love it! Little bit like samba. Great job. Will be playing this song on monday
no this is not the traditional one its more of a songo or tumbao based beat....rumba would completely different and way better..
@@arjunchakraborty2206 It says "personal interpretation". So, if rumba would be "way better" it's more your personal point of view than an objective opinion. Considering even that this song comes drumless.
@@sim1_dr when I meant way better I meant it would be for the song...and it should be mentioned in the title if it's a personal interpretation...cause you know beginners can misinterpret this..tho this was very well made..it wasn't the authentic rumba
@@arjunchakraborty2206 it's on the description ;) it's your personal opinion and I accept that. But still, this does not mean that everyone can not play a personal arrangement. It's a song with no drums, I don't think there is a specific way to play the song.
Good job, what is the pattern that u ve been playing ? This song sounds trick to me coz I dunno what to play on
16th notes on the snare, downbeat on the bell with the occasional diddle in the right hand. For extra challenge, add the clapping pattern on the hi hat clutch. (And maybe a songo pattern on the kick drum)
Which snare do you use
I apologize, I reply a little late. Yamaha Recording custom snare 14" x 5,5 from 1992.
Molto bravi
