Thank you for this demo I have always wanted to hear what the Big Sky could do other than major ambient stuff. I REALLY liked the bloom setting, the effect was strong on emphasized notes and bends, but kinda took a back seat when not needed but was still there, that's awesome.

Yes i agree. About the preset...i dont have to tweak on the presets because all the preset were usefull. Except i wanna find something new out of the earth sound
That’s great to hear. If I had a traditional pedalboard still, I could see getting it. I used the timeline in my old Bogner ecstasy rig. Strymon stuff is fantastic for sure....I’d always test to see how close I can get to it in what I have in the axe fx
I am just now putting together a w/d/w rig and decided to do the amping with tube tech, and I'm probably gonna go with Strymon and others for FX. Eventually I'd like to convert to the modelers though, but the stuff I have seems to have better resale value at least. Not sure the general purpose modelers can do as well as a dedicated pedal like the Big Sky.
Leon whats up buddy, Have you heard of the album Trashed by Lagwagon? Tell me that is not the most beautiful guitar tone ever. I wish I knew what he used to record that album.. any ideas?

It's an interesting pedal. The multidelay and plex delay in the Axe can cop most of the "special" verbs in this though.

The effects in the Fractal stuff is worth a look if you want dense time based fx

The III does everything I need and more. The Strymon is pretty inspiring though.

Ironically your "demo" for how most people used it has way to much balls to it. Also, washy verb + distortion= the dream
it sounds better without the cab sim. cabinets sound like shit. why would you simulate them.
If you don't play church music or make music for zimmerman/hollywood... i see no real practicality of this pedal compared to other basic reverb pedals
You’d be surprised 😮 this thing has presets, and you can create your own crazy and spooky ones not suitable for church.
