BAMS stands for Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and surgery. It is a five-year six-month undergraduate degree program. BAMS is a UG course for aspirants who wish to fulfill their dream of becoming a Ayush doctor. BAMS is the dream career choice for students across India. In current times, especially with the advent of the corona virus, the medical industry has grabbed even more attention than before, and along with came a higher focus on Ayurvedic. In the modern world, there is a never-ending hunger for improvement in every field, and the medical industry is no exception. Ayurveda, though has been practiced for hundreds of years in India, there is still scope for betterment and invention of new drugs, and the advancement of the industry as a whole. Admission to the BAMS program is determined by the NEET exam
NEET Qualifying Exam : 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subject in both Classes 11 and 12 from a recognised board.
Qualifying Marks : GENERAL (UR) - 50%, OBC/SC/ST - 40%, PWD - 45% (minimum aggregate marks only for PCB subjects)
Age Requirement : Shall have a minimum age of 17 years as on December 31 of the year of admission : No upper age limit.
