Last state rank for SC candidate in Driems was 3509, around 250 or 260 SC rank(open). I have a SC rank of around 344, chances seems very less for me. Whats your SC rank? the rank diff btwn r1 and r2 was of 50 SC rank, So if ur rank is under 300 then there maybe a chance for you

@@swatiswagatika1908 could be, Hitech Dental Seats usually have lot of vacant seats. But seriously this year nothing can be said, especially for pvt cllgs cutoffs. Students are literally in panic mode and securing their place with whatever course they can put their hands on. Just imagine about the high cutoff of Vetrinary of this year who would have anticipated that vetrinary whose half seats remain vacant vould have such high cutoff. I too have suffered a lot due to this uncertainty mentally. But truth is this year nothing is in our hands. I mean how could cutoff for SC category increase by a margin of 110 marks in a single year? From 484 to straight 580. I mean 10-15 marks increase infact 20 marks increase in cutoff is understandable but frickin 110 marks!! I think in 2023 a score of 481 gave a AIR of 127k but this year I have got 233k as AIR. Really my heart goes out to all the gen candidates, despite working so hard getting 610 620 640 etc they won't get cllgs. Thats the most f*kd up thing imaginable and the fact that we allow this to happen is twisted in itself.

@@swatiswagatika1908 see if you want to take college anyhow this year only and it doesn't matter if it's mbbs or bds....then go for AIQ, you can get bds seat there (high chance in pvt) but mind it that outside odisha you will be treated as a open category candidate only and get allotment on basis of that only. In open states your category won't work. Also I could say get a good genuine and trusted counsillor to do it for u. Most of times they have connections with college authorities and can try and decrease the fees ( exp it's 4 lpa in Chattisgarh for bds but a very popular and trusted counsillor offered it for 2lpa to me) but mind it! Choose ur collg and counsillor wisely, many are sitting only to make money out of ur desperation and play with your future. (P.S - Many shaddy people pretend to be counsillors and will offer you that they have a way to give you backdoor entry into govt mbbs or semi govt mbbs and will ask for 2- 5 lacks for making PWD certificate or will say they have connections in ojee cell, Never listen to them, they ll dupe you out of your money)

I am also looking for a seat in any hitech or driems, but tbh I dont think there will be any vacancies in semi govt. because this year people are scared and tired and very aggresively taking the seats. I am infact surprised how many NRI candidates are there willing to pay 22 lakh per annum for hitech and driems. But still I hope if by gods grace good no. of vacancies comes out then it ll be helpful for us.

@@swatiswagatika1908 481 score, State rank 3913, last year hitech closed at 438 marks for SC and 540 for gen but I was in BAMS back then nd it was partial drop with BAMS....I was willing for hitech but some health issue in family and I couldn't have arranged money then. Infact the funny thing is last year you could have got Sundargarh GMC which closed at 484 marks in spot 🤣 but last year my marks were not enough and I had only option of hitech or driems nd both were presented to me in a time when I couldnt have afforded it. The lesson earned is never settle for something you know you would regret later ( for me bams), secondly Don't take partial drop with a professional degree (which has extensive coursework), and lastly don't just run blindly in this rat race think about the consequences of your actions and decisions ( plan Things 1 step ahead because failing to plan is planning to fail). Good luck, if u decide to prepare again.
