Putting Shrink Caps On Corked Wine Bottles

After fighting with a blow drier to try and get my wine shrink caps to have a tight fight, I came across a really easy way to get a nice clean shrink seal. The best part is it's really fast and easy.
If you have a local brew shop or can pick up used equipment do so, for everything else you can't find, I've listed them below.

Is this better than just using a hair dryer or heat gun? Any reason why you wouldn't use those?
