I absolutely LOVE Miami! And I would like to live there one day. But as a person who is from and still lives in NYC, I would still say that it's cheaper to eat in Miami then it is in NYC. Even with the 20% service charge they already add on your bill in Miami restaurants.
As a person born and raised in Miami and that still lives here, cross the bridge into the main land if you want to eat well. MOST places on Miami Beach are over priced tourist traps. Oh, and the cuban sandwich is over rated. Many other much better sandwich choices available.
I totally agree with you. We actually said something similar, but opposite lol cuz I'm from NYC, born and raised and I think Miami is still cheaper. But yes, Miami Beach is great for the beach and South Beach is very lively, but the locals and more affordable options are on the other side. Wolter (Mark) should have mentioned Lincoln Road too, cuz that's a great strip of restaurants, although pricey over there... Still a really upscale experience.
Oh that is the worst first thing in the morning too! My bad :( don't think of all that stone crab... with that butter... nope... don't think about it :)
@@chrislim7976 Freshly baked bread with Well seasoned Suckling Pork is not boring lol. A world apart from Wonder Bread and Subway. You can eat the bread on its own.
Publix food counter is a great place to get some food if you don’t want to pay high restaurant bills . The chicken fingers there
New subscriber!! Love it.
Oh- you get some serious binging to do
Thanks!
Big fan of both channels. NYC collab sometime in the future?
Cvi.Che 105 is the best Peruvian food in town. Awesome flavors from South America. 😊
Amazing video as always, thanks for sharing 👍
Thanks Leo!

Thanks for the heads up. I'm filming in NYC again later this year
Shortys barbecue been there for over 70 years best barbecue hands-down
It’s worth noting the Cuban Sandwich originated in the cigar factories of Ybor City in Tampa, Florida rather than Miami.
You should do a video about Miami Suburbs, there are so many cool places to eat and public parks, family oriented and less expensive than the city
My favorite place in Miami is Baire's Agentinian Grill in Brickell.
Thanks for the tip!
The best Cuban place is out west on the suburbs … it’s called: Islas Canarias
Will visit on my next visit. Thank you!
The next time you come to Miami, we would love to have you at our Little Havana Food Tour!

I hear ya. Lol it's so much easier to do that when you can sleep in.
@@woltersworld 😂 that's evil
FYI: Cuban Sandwich was invented by Mark Cuban. 😂
Peruvian Food best in the world 💖💖🥰🥰
It is so good! Love getting Peruvian food in miami
You can have all the Cuban food they had in Cuba before 1959 now none of that food exists there today, or not for the regular folks,
alligator does not taste like chicken
Chicken and fish mix to me
As a Miamian the cuisine is limited to Latina American food ..other cuisines are average at best
I would not recommend alligator anything.
It has a chewy, gamey taste. It's what you think alligator tastes like.
It's not my jam either

vs. stone crab at Joe's and a big bib?
You're the the definition of good times. So happy.
😂
Cuban food= Glorified Carnival food
Nothing looked good to me.... A sandwich as part of the Cuban a dish is so boring.
Have a cuban coffee and guava pastry. It'll wake you up and make you less unhappy .

A cafecito, guava pastry and small talk each morning and I'm happy.
Never looked at Starbucks the same.
