@@rrickarr That's exactly the type of thinking that gotten us the ineffective self-serving clowns the U.S. had been getting for the past few decades. None have made "the tough decisions", just the WRONG decisions...bases on greed; on a personal and corporate level. This is why, if you are not a moneyed donor of the corporate or the financial elite, you are totally ignored.

MaddyW The state of things political is not ready for such as Marianne. This country's so-called governance needs to put Spirit ( by whatever name)Too many out for themselves & too many racist, (nevermind, as one raised Jewish, antisemitic)creating a muddied, flimsy structure. Yes, we need in the course of everyday ~ miracles, person to person from inside out. "Be kind to one another whenever possiible. It is always possible."

I have been an avid fan of Marianne for years but hearing her say to Russell Brand that she was glad Biden got elected finished it for me. What is going on in your schools re porn literature, school boards ignoring parents and sometimes deliberately deceiving parents. Sick body mutilations on minors, parents treated as domestic terrorists and Marianne us glad got elected!!!!! No pandering to that insane old man will never get elected and we can see that from London let alone Washington.

This video is anti-Christian right? These two women are not Christians are they? I tried to watch but the first several minutes was lot of talk but saying nothing. I had to stop the video. They are spiritual new age? In the wrong path of worshiping energies and self empowerment? Chasing falsities. They do need prayer. This sort of cult is depressing. Hopefully they realize their sin and repent.

Ha that's great - I grew up "ATHEIST" in former East Germany - but I had of course my own "inner guidance system" it just wasn't validated on the outdid at all, ever - but when I found ACIM - I heard about it on a podcast and the person said "it changed my life" inner guidance said :BUY NOW - when it arrived I opened it and from the very first page I KNEW I HAD to study it - and did, every single day, for about 3years - it was very cleansing, and from breaking down all my old beliefs, I could then start rebuilding - and connect more with my inner guidance - and I agree that it was probably EASIER for me having grown up in "communist/socialist" format to understand the TRUTHS put forth in ACIM.

Sometimes you are not completely rejected but you are seen as weird "How come this person thinks that as most of the people think differently?" When I started my healing journey I realised that I had to quit gluten and dairies to feel better but it was a bit difficult at that time because I was the only one that was doing it and I had to tell it in a restaurant for example. (I'm French and in France food is something important) At first people doubted it would do me good and now it's funny because even if I didn't try to convince them to do the same, some of them are very interested in my journey because I feel well, I look good, full of energy, I'm thinner, I don't have my auto-immune disease anymore and lots of people now want to know what I did, or ask me what I eat. It's also because more and more people now have changed their ways of eating and there are more and more people with allergies but at the time I started it wasn't like that and it was difficult to be the different one who doesn't do like the others . The same people who reject you are the same who will come to you one day. I think that if they see you happy and if you don't try to force them to think like you, they will want to know what is your secret of happiness. And if they don't, you don't care, it's their path. If I had listened to the people around, I would still have health problems, my health is more important than what others think.

This is why I’ve never studied the Course in Miracles, because at its foundation is spiritual by-passing. Telling someone they don’t need to set a boundary with a family that’s withholding love conditionally, is gaslighting. Telling people that this world is simply and illusion, is denying the very real pain people feel when subjected to other people’s abuse, disrespect, racism, sexism, etc. Nope.

I am deep into acim also and in a permanent state of "heaven". But I don't agree that you should not have any boundaries with people who are abusive. Love includes self-love also and this is something I find acim lacking. Of course if everyone was fully awakened we would already be in heaven but this world is not so and we are in a denser reality based in very limited consciousness. You can definitely see the true self in others as in you especially if you are very awake, and can help you forgive them for the illusions, but this still doesn't mean toleration for abuse. Women especially have been so deeply conditioned to tolerate and normalize abuse in all manners (which acim describes as "murder" in various forms). I am compelled to say this as I see this as a blindspot and mis-application of acim teachings. And when I say "abuse", is if it feels that way to you. Hypothetically you can be in a state where "abuse" won't affect you, but again that is most likely not the case with most of us especially close family and while being in a denser reality.
I recommend Matt Kahn's teachings as a supplement to acim. They align at the core but give more balance in regards to self-love, which is in fact tied to your worthiness in the eyes of God.

Now people would reject someone on the basis of not liking the same entertainment probably too don't like your movies their music their food their "culture" anything a people pleaser will apologize and adapt but some will not sacrifice themselves that way I think people need to respect themselves and resist manipulation.

  • @jerryabenson6822
    @jerryabenson6822 Год назад

In addition to framing the impulse of others to reject one's spiritual pursuit as opposed to their's, it is helpful to give the benefit of doubt that they are driven by love as Marianne expresses. However, though love may dwell in the depths of our being, the reality is that some rejection manifests in the egoic region for control and expectation of conformity, not an expression of love per se. It is challenging to view this from our natural human perspective as hidden love, nor should our personal spiritual journey be dependent upon the expression of another's love toward us. For me, the ancient expression, found in Romans 13:8 of the Bible, that the debt we owe to others is to love them, clears away any obligation to fear their opinion about us. To learn and experience what it means to love them, I believe, may not alter their belief, but it frees us to engage psychically with them without fear of their rejection or their expression of love for us. Just a thought!

I think Marianne provides good advice and sage counsel. My response about being rejected because of holding a non conforming world view that doesn't exactly align with their beliefs is having compassion for those that will abandon you for same. I pity them because they have allowed their minds to be held in the oppressive yoke of Doctrine and Dogma. They somehow fail to realize that that which they most identify with and desperately cling to, the ego or sense of self-esteem or self-importance, is lost when they draw their terminal breath. That clinging to the ego, I think, almost guarantees a difficult death process. Ego death happens in stages, and if courageously pursued, eventually results in the experience of Self-Realization, Nirvana, Oneness, spiritual ascension, or Spiritual Enlightenment. Unfortunately, this seems to be unattainable for the devout.

When this happens there are generally two root causes and both stem from ignorance. We're all ignorant in some ways and not in others so I don't necessarily mean that in a bad way per say. A way in which this ignorance could be our own fault is simply by us sharing our views with people who are obviously not going to like them or in some other way "getting preachy" with people who don't like that or don't want it to happen to them. An example situation I use to visualize this error on our part is: Imagine trying to speak about love, peace and unity with Red Forman from That 70's show. That is just never going to go over well and it is ignorance that would put someone in that position in the first place. The second way that this tends to happens is from the ignorance of someone else. A stereotypical example I use for this are "militant atheists" who seemingly feel some strong need to crush the seemingly delusional beliefs of others. I'm not a Christian, as an example, but even if I had 100% irrefutable proof that the religion was false in some way, I don't have that evidence, I still wouldn't go around pushing that on them because, imho, that is a form of violence and comes from a position of ignorance. Both really breath down to "Don't push your beliefs, or lack thereof, on others"

@@G_Demolished That is why I made sure to label them "militant atheists". They are the jackasses who seemingly feel a need to crush the seemingly irrational beliefs of others and imho it is a form of violence. I say if people want to believe in some magic sky hippy let them unless they are pushing that belief on others who don't want it.

Marianne has dealt with conflict and resolution of conflict her entire career. A POTUS should deal with conflict resolution in such a manner. Because politics is SUCH conflict these days. I pray for such a resolution of political conflict. I can see a POTUS with such conflict resolution skills handle it, and even bridge the gap between sides. MW2024!

If you hold beliefs which you cherish, but which have no evidence, no substantive proof they are real and valid, rather than "they make me feel good about life, myself, and reality", then you are also more likely to form new beliefs based on poor or no evidence as you teach yourself not to require valid evidence in order to believe.
I have this issue with most religious/spiritual people to some extent, the more such beliefs they hold, the more issue I have.
For instance, Westboro Baptist church, a hate faith which torments gay folks, devoutly believe they are good people. I disagree. They have unfounded beliefs which are hateful.
Marianne has a ton of such beliefs, some she has talked about, others she avoids talking about (like supporting anti-vaxxers who have allowed Measels to resurge with their unfounded beliefs).
I could never vote for her as I would fear her ability to make sound decisions rests upon her acceptance, as fact, things she believes with little, poor, or no evidence at all.

Ask any 'Christian' who preaches Jesus, who did Jesus trust most, who Jesus left the most intimate detail and insights? they all have been taught to repeat Peter. But read Peter, he made mistake and blunder time after time until his death, he was no leader. It wasn't Peter that Jesus named head of the Church, But Mary of Magda. Why was she whisked away on a boat to Gaul? Why is southern France so important. It's because Mary of Magda. Her writings are the truth. Sarah and Andrew 's testament state this.

Yes, but the Patriarchy couldn't admit that a woman was Jesus of Nazareth's #1 most trusted ally, partner and companion, and that women and men are equal in God's eyes (of course). They had to reduce her to being a whore, and his mother an eternal virgin to undermine their power as full grown respectable adult women with knowledge, wisdom and strength. They had to make them freaks/misfits.
The Church and patriarchy in general need to die if we ever hope to achieve peace and equality.

As an atheist, I see little difference between Marianne's "Spirituality" and "Conventional" religions. We see it differently because we have been culturally acclimated to accept the others as "normal". In fact I think Williamson's spirituality is less harmful than say Catholicism, which has been responsible for millions of deaths and immeasurable sexual abuse, harm and suffering to children over centuries of secret abuse we are still finding out about. Let's make the campaign about public issues.
