I loved the entire interview; both of you are our heroes. Deepak really piqued my interest with his pledge and commitment to the issue of Suicide. Diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in 2015, I found myself answering the Suicide Hot Line in Reno, Nevada. My simple thought: if I could save one life, it will be a day well-lived. That commitment saved my life and hopefully, many others over the next three years. I found Bernie Sanders, Marianne Williamson and the spiritual community that continues to serve my life daily. I am eternally grateful to all of these spiritual Leaders who give us the views of what is possible in this world.

A beautiful conversation. I feel impressed to push back a little on Deepak’s ‘traditional’ perspective. Waiting until we’re in the twilight years to “wake up” is one of the reasons our world is in peril. The sooner humans recognize, first....who we’re not: the ego, and second.....who we are: indescribable being - or love; the sooner we’ll break the bonds of illusion and start living from truth.....as one. If we each regard ourselves as part of the whole, we lose all desire to harm and instead seek to heal. (If I sprain my ankle and become hobbled for awhile, do I just chop off my foot because it’s slowing the rest of me down, or do I treat it tenderly and nurse it back to health? It’s as much a part of me as you are the world.)
As we, humans, continue “solving” the world’s problems from the made-up sense of self our minds have misconstrued, of course the logical result is annihilation. That which is unreal can’t last.
Out first action then is to recognize who we are....to know thyself....and see that we’ve been hiding in plain sight all along. Only then will we be prepared to teach our kids how to see themselves, and break the chain of illusion. (Gives new meaning to the saying, the sins of the fathers....) It ALL starts with us, and the choice is ours’ alone to make. I suggest we snap to it and Wake Up NOW!

Brett, I am totally in sync with what you write here. And I think the hope for civilization is with the young--they need to be "awake" as much or more than us to save humanity unless Nature has other plans since we really are very, very stupid on Earth! My canine pets are often smarter on judging peoples character! Finally, I also agree we need to "snap to it" as you wisely suggest! My best to you! Namaste.

A sick society suffers social disease. Think this post is maybe what you refer. Natural Hygiene was taught by Natives to USA medical people & those teachings remained the law of the land up until the late 1800's when big pharma began to take over making Natural Hygiene unjustly obsolete until early 1900's when Herbert M. Shelton re-founded the orthopaedic practice at his health sanatoriums & by the 1950's he ran for potus, but big oil land grabs & big pharma swindles had a monopoly by then, also it was further corrupted by the liquor industry that had spiraled out of control as a drug of choice ever since the 1930's. So it is way past time to make Natural Hygiene a part of our daily lives again, as the once sober apple cart was upset too many times over the years by oppressive governmental inebriated addicts who have been increasingly abusing a once sound medical practice here in America for far too long. Here is my take on needed improvements for those who have yet them or even considered changing these corrupt current laws yet. Back around the 70's reagan began shutting down state hospitals to save taxes for the rich resulting in an ever increasing spiral of homeless street people & overcrowded prisons. Reagan was inebriated on his bubbly. That points to another mess up that occurred back in the 30's when they made alcohol their drug of choice as legal recreation & criminalized other intoxicants. Past time for a resolution to both these gross errors. 1- make all drugs & alcohol legal medically with supervision. 2-drug & alcohol test all law enforcement, politicians, educators & gun owners at their own expense, never as illegal recreation in use currently. Until those insane obsolete laws, rules & regulations are changed with appropriate resolutions the errors of the past will continue to escalate.

Thank you both for this powerful interview!❤️ As someone that has followed the essential work and transformational contributions of each of you and I’ll be 52 in September, this interview felt very nourishing and refreshing to me. I experienced a massive awakening in 2008 and it’s so delicious to see teachers I have followed experiencing awakening. I believe we also choose when to awaken and self realize before we incarnate so we can bear accomplishing what we came to contribute and learn, otherwise we would check out of this reality way beforehand. Yes, I agree I’ve been willing to interact for the purpose of upgrading and loving but I’m very detached from getting entangled because everyone chooses their own journey (with many potentialities of course) before incarnating. Mass consciousness on Earth will significantly upgrade in time with of course some still choosing a timeline more of shadow consciousness - my hope is that the contrast will at least be less barbaric but it already is on other timelines. Much, much love to you both ❤️❤️😊

I'm 63 and evidently failed at the first two phases, and failing in the third as well. However, I paint and am just now getting good, so the timing regarding what some people say about what you're supposed to be doing and feeling at a given age is definitely way, way off in my case.

Love in ACTION! I thank God for this youtube! Spreading the word of LOVE. I think an example of LOVE IN ACTION would be for example ideally. I realize they are older now and may not be able to actually do this, but Deepak and Marianne HOLD HANDS AND GO THROUGH THE COUNTRY PROMOTING LOVE, TO EVERY STATE AND TOWN, START AND PROMOTE A MASSIVE LOVE REVOLUTION!! Walk through the U. S. on every street promoting and getting followers every where to RETURN TO LOVE. Am I a hopeless romantic? Yes, probably very much, but I have HOPE FOR US AS A SPECIES AND DO THINK WE URGENTLY NEED SPIRITUAL LEADERS to "show us" the way, on TV, in the streets wherever we can get our Truth out there! Sending LOVE to all that surrounds you! In the 70's there were Love-IN's, and promotion of Peace everywhere, can we not return to this? I know we can.

I believe as well that we are in a collective trajectory toward destruction. The only remedy is Love. God is our Creator and God is Love. He says, "Be not afraid. ...I have overcome the world." God is Love that overcomes the world.
I remember when Marianne was running for President her speeches made too much sense to be taken seriously in this corrupt world. She was asked about health care. She addressed the root cause of sickness for example. The world was not ready for logic and reason then. I am not sure if we will get there.
