Most shocking moment: scanlan using his 9th level spell to counter vecnas escape. There is context I deliberately left out ;) just watch Matt's face when he hears this.
The chroma conclave reveal is definitely the most impactful, iconic, and memorable moment. I will always remember the 19 miss and the sudden slaughter of an entire crowd of innocents
SPOILER!! Campaign 1: One moment, I think (my opinion), could have made the list was shortly before the fight with Vecna on the titan, when the group got tricked into killing Caley, Gilmore and the twins sister. The sheer horror, when they realised, what they had done. But still: Loved the video!
That one's kiiiiiiiiinda connected, but I'd consider it a separate reveal. There's a few Conclave-related reveals that could easily have made this list. Miiiiiiight end up doing a sequel lol
"Can you imagine if Raishan was flying around in campaign 2?" *Bleeped out words.* You referenced the conveniently anagramed name of Isharnai the Prism Hag then, right? I'm still convinced it's not just a coincidence.
11:30 oh you just reminded me of vex and kiki crying themselves to sleep while holding vax's armor and each other 💔 ouch I'm expecting that rendition of 'hey there delilah' on spotify pls it's great
I've always loved the description that Matt gives of the destruction of the tower by the white dragon. So easy to picture it happening that way and even gives you a feel of how large the tower is as it falls.
Imagine not being a wrestling fan and having no context as to who Hornswoggle is and why he's there in the middle of a section about Scanlan's daughter
Just realized that the first ep of critrole i watched live was ep 69, which... NICE. But also i was shipping perc'ahli something hardcore so i felt really vindicated by that natural 20 and the "it's yours"
See I was like “...is that... Vince Russo? On a critical role thumbnail? Nah surely that’s some CR guy I don’t know bc I’m new to CR” but nope, after seeing your intro it all made sense
since Legend of Vox Machina came out I've watched hundreds of Reactors, and every none Critter among them cheers and celebrates when Delilah gets melted. I'm so looking forward to that reveal.
I agree. His yelling and getting hostile at NPCs, dragging out his micro management to assert his agency, and persistent metagaming was often grating for me. I can’t believe he spent nearly a half hour running his own errands in his final episode on the show. The combination of him and Marisha’s personalities together was almost overpowering at times for me as well, with their yelling and cross talking. I definitely became more chill with Marisha after Orion left, as Keyleth’s outbursts felt more like a character quirk rather than the two of them enabling each other.
@@ninboy01 Yeah he really wanted to be the main character of the show and it’s an ensemble cast, everyone needs a chance to shine. Even in the Birarwood arc where it was centered around Percy the rest of the cast got their moments in it. At least you could tell Marishia comes from a place of earnestness, Orion really felt coincided.
Just got this video in my recommended, and I gotta say your presentation, and these picks are gems! And I gotta ask what these music tracks you used for this video if u, or any1 else sees this comment
Just popped in my recommends. But the combo of AEW, CR, and Saints Row is right up my alley. We would get along well. lol. This was a great video by the way.
Wasn't really a reveal (you could argue that he was using VM as a reveal, but for the purposes of this list, I categorize it as more of a shocking moment than I reveal).
I will always love Travis’s face when Matt says “19 misses”
@David Campbell Love that video 10/10 would recommend
Just faced the BBEG of our campaign with an AC of 25 and could party to get a 30.
Perfect music cue too
I don't know if it would count as a "reveal", but the stealing of the hand of Vecna was pretty shocking.
That was #1 for me
The natural 1 Kaylie rolled to attack Scanlan might be one of the most important rolls in the game only behind the natural 1 on breaking the skull
that and keyleth's death saving throw in the nine hells
Most shocking moment: scanlan using his 9th level spell to counter vecnas escape. There is context I deliberately left out ;) just watch Matt's face when he hears this.
Matt knew Sam wanted to use it to try and save Vax
😭😭😭

That was absolutely an honorable mention! That was such a bummer to see :c
What episode was this?
@@NotYourDay123 Not sure, but its certainly one of the last ones
@@NotYourDay123 That should be Episode 113 if I recall!
@@Natural9 Yep right at the end, before they head to the top of the tower :)
The reveal of Tiberius Frozen and impaled on a spike is the reason I play dnd. I will never not cry when I watch that clip
24:48 This is just 'Matt gets to use all of his biggest dragon minis'
Addendum to number one: Thordak is the dragon that destroyed Vax and Vex’s hometown, resulting in the death of their mother

Not quite~
@@Natural9 Ahh, my mistake then. Disregard everything I just wrote above, lol.
Oh & i meant to say Prism Sage not Hag, lol.
@@Natural9 what were you talking about? I'm completely caught up.
Did I just miss something?
Oooh, I didn't even notice that anagram
@@joelmills4304 Yeah, it's hard to catch if you haven't watched C1 Or if you haven't read up on the wiki.
I love how Liam immediately knows what's up with a Beholder and how screwed they are.

The pure, body trembling rage that Keyleth has during the Raishan reveal will always give me chills

The Croma Conclave is amazing!!! even the musci stoped when "19 misses" amazing
That scanlan to tarryon was fucking beautiful
Imagine not being a wrestling fan and having no context as to who Hornswoggle is and why he's there in the middle of a section about Scanlan's daughter
I feel like the context was enough to get across the fact that they're both-
...okay that joke was bad >
Taryon: Hello! 😃
[A piece of scrunched paper, a book, a torch and an axe fly in and bounce off him] 😃

Seeing Russo in a CR thumbnail could be considered a Shocking Swerve in itself.....Bro.
I truly love how Tary went from a complete joke to one of the most beloved characters in critical role history
Awesome video. I'd have included a certain theft by Arkhan in the very last episode of the main campaign.
I have to say, I'm getting a little tired of the number nine. IT'S EVERYWHERE!!!!
Fun fact: my channel existed long before C2. So if anything, The Mighty Nein and the Eyes of Nine owe me royalties ;3
since Legend of Vox Machina came out I've watched hundreds of Reactors, and every none Critter among them cheers and celebrates when Delilah gets melted. I'm so looking forward to that reveal.
Awh man. The wrestling vibes and the music... couldn't be a former WhatCulture fan?
To paraphrase Kenny McIntosh, What kind of Culture would it be if I wasn't Defiant enough to make my own clickbait duckets?
just got recomended and i hope more people find this like i did this is great
Jup same here, really enjoyed the vid
For me Orion brought down the early arcs for me.

didnt expect to see Moxley in a CR video, i truly have arrived home
never mind just mox, its wrestling all the way through! perfect. just perfect.
The worst thing is I'm not even really an AEW Mark! Mostly because I currently don't have access to cable :ccc
You forgot the bathtub!!!!
Wow, I wasn’t expecting my fandoms of Critical Role and AEW to collide in a video today, but I’ll take it lol
This randomly appeared in my recommendations. Looking forward to seeing more.
Dam good video btw :D saw the title and clicked immediately.
What was the Campaign 2 Spoiler at the end of the Raishan segment?
Let's just say it had to do with the status of a certain person of interest in Campaign 2.
A certain....hag
Ya they were in serious denial with Scanlan leaving
IDK man keyleth feeble minding raishan is still the most OMG I have ever been
Agreed! We have an Overwatch POTG-style video of the moment on the channel, too!

I haven’t even made it 20 seconds in. That WWE style intro gets a like.
Dang this makes me miss campaign one!
Wait what do you mean Raishan in season 2. I don't remember that at all. What episode
The Meatman cometh.
can't tell if he purposefully meant to mistake what 69 means or not
Good video
Why is Vince Russo in the pic???
Because of all the SWERVES, BRO

Wait, no Arkhan the cruel bamfing away with the relics of Vecna, so he can use them to revive Tiamat the dragon queen?

Why is there a copyright notice for WotC? Critical Role is self-produced and has no affiliation with WotC/Hasbro.
The art in the segment was taken from Wizards' site.
Wow vince would sue the f*** out of you for that intro
strongly agree with no. 1
