I appreciate how you compare trees to familiar objects such as the third largest statue in the world and a tower of fifteen giraffes stacked on top of each other. It really helped me draw a clearer picture that would have not been possible with the metric system.
"282 FEET high.. almost 20 METERS higher than the cathedral of notre dame" that what happens when you search on the internet for random information to make something sound interesting
By the time I got to "the cones contain up to 230 seeds which are called conifers" I gave up with your misinformation. Scientific names and use of metres would also help.
The world's largest tree was the Ferguson Tree at over 500 feet (154m). It was measured by Surveyor Ferguson in 1872 in the Watts River Catchment near Healesville. MELBOURNE AUSTRALIA.
I wonder how big trees got back when there were no humans to cut them down and the atmosphere was different (when the giant insects existed)? I imagine one that was several thousand (or more) years old could grow much bigger in that sort of environment.
FYI: RED WOOD trees are the tallest trees in the world. Easily over 100 feet tall. Logic mat dictate the tap root would be very deep. BUT comparatively speaking their tap roots are not really that deep. The tap root of a tree kind of acts as the trees anchor. Well in the case of the RED WOODS it works a little different. RED WOODS always grow in groves. The root system of all the trees are inter-twined. All trees aid in supporting all trees. No one tree stands alone.
The trees always teach us that we can't always cut the trees. They give us very useful things such as food, oxygen ,flowers, wood and many many more.So we should plant a tree after cutting a tree because if there is no plant or tree,we can't gain those useful supplements and get a lot of trouble. So we should always protect our natural resources.
Is Hyperion still the tallest? Good question... Do you think there is a tree taller than 115 feet still out there? Maybe I know of a redwood like this, or is it just my fantasies... NB the tallest douglas fir ever recorded reliably was 119 meters. There are records of a 142-meter fir, though... Oh and also I am permitted to say that Gen. Sherman is no longer the largest tree in the world... And also Hyperion is not 389 feet tall but 380.08 feet tall.
There were ancient trees of the distant past that made THESE babies look small! They are mentioned in Scripture. We can even see their 'Stumps' today, though some people reject this truth. But the evidence is seen in these huge modern day Giants, which are a genetic left-over from thousands of years ago.
There are no natural forests anymore. All the massive trees were cut down. The trees we see now are shrubs compared to the massive trees that were here
Who just randomly searched up this video instead of having this on your Recommend

I was listening to a story on reddit about a neighbor cutting down another's tree and it got me thinking about what's the tallest tree in the world
By the time I got to "the cones contain up to 230 seeds which are called conifers" I gave up with your misinformation. Scientific names and use of metres would also help.
Seperate yourself from other channels by not sounding like a computer “tOp TEn TaLLeSt TrEEs”
Why not just also use meters?
Feet devided by 3 is 1 meter
@@justusschoenmakers8987 that's a yard dipshit
@@MatMabee yeah i meant times 3. A yard is basically a meter
Cause these colors don’t run

MELBOURNE AUSTRALIA.
It was measured at 132m. And it's disputed so they have to take that into account.
Theres no proof at all of this. People exaggerated all the time back then, and it was also measured at only 114 meters or 132 meters.
This was my biology homework 😅🧫
I wonder how big trees got back when there were no humans to cut them down and the atmosphere was different (when the giant insects existed)? I imagine one that was several thousand (or more) years old could grow much bigger in that sort of environment.
Trees have a (theoretical) maximum height of around 130 meters/426 feet.
That tree bigger than 3 baseball fields stacked on top of each other the one with 389 feet I liked my own coment
Why your channel don't have a lot of subscribers?

Just imagine that trees were actually bigger than this
Dude are u from Tasmania
I HOPE not. Naming the the Australia’s First Nations people as “natives” is a bit ignorant. Lol
@@adamjamieson8013 Well, they're native. Few experts even say they didn't originate from Australia.

Why are most of these trees in Australia? It said tallest trees in the world not in Australia.
We have tall trees in australia
I guess this means tallest tree species, not individual tallest trees. If it had been the other way round, it would be different.
