This is what getting your own gaming pc actually feels like from my first experience! So you’ve just bought everything and you're ready to build the computer, the only problem is you don’t know how! Almost breaking it you watch some tutorials and slowly bit by bit, you start to make progress, and as you get closer to finishing the computer the anticipation rises to unprecedented levels, you begin to doubt if the pc will work or not and whether you’ve done it right. Nervously you power it on for the first time, and it works!!! After a few minutes of messing around with the RGB software you boot up the most intensive game, Minecraft. And boy does it run well. Check out the comments for more.
Big thanks to ASUS (goats) for sending me this INSANE computer to build! (FULL VIDEO NEXT!)

Hi 😂
NOOOOOOOO, DON'T USE A B760 IN A HIGH-END GAMING PC!!!!!
But it is a high end mobo..
Nice job but that cable managment is horrible
you forgot the part where you get a heart attack from not switching the back switch
😂
Underrated comment
Bro this just happened with me yesterday i was cleaning my pc and i forgot that the switch was off
This kind of happened to me, but the only thing was I plugged the power cable into the battery and not the graphics card. gave me a heart attack for 30 minutes.
My roommate and I were having issue a bit ago on mw2 and we’ll guess what we both had the eco on lmao ig when I went in to clean it the week prior to that I must have hit by accident him well he’s new to this so likely had in on the whole time and didn’t notice
And u cant describe the feeling when you had a really old and slow computer, and after building your new one it turns on and its so much better lol
That’s gonna be me when I upgrade my 4 year old pc
@@daaaarkdude same I been playing on a $300 laptop. My uncle offered me a summer job to work for his company for the summer and that’s what I’m doing rn. When I come back home ima have more than enough to buy a gaming setup and i can’t wait to amazed

Power adapter? You mean the power supply (unless you're talking about the extender thing)?
@@falc0n2222 yes I meant the power supply
For me it was:
For a couple of years wanting to build a pc, so I start watching videos about them.
Basically know everything about them after a long time.
When finally got the money to build one I built it like a breeze
This is what I'm hoping for. I don't have the money right now, but I've been doing my research.

Lucky i put my mb cable backwards

Puts component in: “shit did i break it”
For real the first time i "clip" my gpu into the motherboard , the ram and also placing my m.2 ssd in a bit of an angle was so sketch , i really tought i broke something everybody was like "put a bit of pressure" my motherboard was about to snap almost 😂😂
I remember putting my CPU In the socket and almost having a seizure by how much pressure it required to pull that tiny metal lever to keep it in place...
Don't even get me started on the ram sticks...
Hell of an emotional rollercoaster
Pretty much me trying to get my GPU in because it didn't seem to be fitting. Eventually I got my dad to do it and it worked out fine though
Guiny if u upgrade ur gpu to rtx 4090 it will give 6k fps in minecraft
Yes I got a 4090 and got upto 6k fps in minecraft bedwars
@@Mtxr_ why the fuck a 4k90 for minecraft bedwars???? Use it for proper high end games at least
Minecraft is CPU based. Gpu would only make Shaders work better
Doesn't matter. The most a modern monitor can even display is 360 fps unless you use bypass.
Tonzku actually Alienware released a 500hz monitor
Yup, built mine on my birthday yesterday it was the most nervous hour of my life but it turned on and I was in awe at the beauty of something that complicated that I put together myself. It so satisfying
i actually did about a full year of research before i even ordered parts to build mine but it is an awesome feeling when you finish it and it actually turns on
Same. I thought it would be a lot harder. It was no cake walk but by no means obvious
Dude I researched for 3 days and ordered all the parts and won my cpu off a auction 5600 XT
Most of my research went into understanding the line between high end and budget builds oddly
Was really curious to know when was I leaning into decking out my build, then after building I just begun to fiddle with all the programs, that's a whole world of it's own too😅

You forgot the part when you run it in an off-case test first, see that it isn’t working, troubleshoot for 3 days with no luck, go to microcenter, give them the pc and $20, get a diagnosis for a faulty motherboard, get it replaced, and then be able to play games 3 months later.
...this hit a little too close to home..
wow what a very broad totally non specific problem
Yk this is my situation rn
Same
I was very confident when I first built my computer, this was because I was so excited to even have a computer where I would just nonstop keep watching videos on how to build it, till the point when I had all the parts I was ready and confident
I’ve never feel this way cause I never build a pc and I’m playing on 8 years old laptop. But in two weeks I will build my first computer and I’m so excited bout this

I just built mine! So happy it posted!
u forgot plugging the hdmi into the motherboard 💀
Fucking yes, I felt so dumb
havent built it yet but glad i saw this comment.
@@darthgamingtv5598 :)
@@darthgamingtv5598 Please if You have a dedicated graphics card please plug your HDMI in to the graphics card. NOT into the Motherboard. The display signal would have to travel trough the integrated graphics of your processor wich would cause latency problems especially while gaming, and many other issues or it would not work at all if your processor doesn't even have integrated graphics to begin with.
@@IT3DDYl lol thank you for the explanation. My cpu i bought does have integrated graphics but yeah i want the gpu to go to work for me. Now, all those usb ports on my motherboard, and usb-c. Could i use those for like charging my phone or devices or something?
For me any thing related to electronic and electrical that i did or complete that ends up working is a huge win
Pro Tip: dont forget to switch on the psu at the back 😂
it feels even better when you have to take it all apart to fix something later and it still turns on
The cable management tho-💀💀💀
Still really great for build, congratulations!
Congrats for the first build of yours!
so relatable man
When I built my first pc it was really easy. Although I must say I watched over 50 tutorials before even purchasing components.
Still, terrifying experience playing around with glass lego that costs between 100-650 euro's a piece
Guys DO NOT TAKE OFF THE PLASTIC WHILE THE PC IS ON!! The static could fry the entire pc
Uh... no, literally not possible with modern hardware. It would AT MOST turn off the RGB lights if you have those stupid things.
@@The-Singularity-X01 why is it not possible due tell
@@mortysmith2192 A PC case, unless its made mostly of plastic, is a giant faraday cage. Something VERY good at keeping the contents isolated from outside electronic and radio interference. Peeling plastic off a fully assembled and working PC will do virtually nothing to the components.
@@The-Singularity-X01 very interesting, though I still won’t say that people should ignore the fact that static is there I did not know that , kudos

my first time building a pc, it in fact did not turn on, 5 hrs of working on it, i went to bed defeated. I wake up couple of hours later, because I couldn't sleep well, since I was racking my head around what went wrong. So I took everything out of the case, and started from scratch, another 4hrs later for a second attempt, this time was a success. It was such a relief I passed out on the couch, and slept a good 10hrs. Such a headache, and now I'm the tech person for my friends/family, don't regret it.

I made my own for ge first time last week. Didn't know squat. But with eniugh determination it can be done. I got it done, then i realised i had no internet so i had to get a wifi adapter, then i had to find out how to downlaod drivers. 2 day process but i felt so proud of myself. It really taught me how comouters work. Now i have a appreciation for builds. I know what a CPU is! Haha
I've done so much research going into that I was fairly confident it was going to work
Building such a machine that the world now operates on has a good feeling
I built my pc only a week ago (first time), and its still feels so good after you finish it, only took me 8 hours
This is extremely optimistic. There has to always be one step that makes it hell. Either a defective part, problem posting, or excruciatingly frustrating os install.
I'm building my first PC right now but not done yet, this perfectly describes it
Just built my first PC five days ago. This is very accurate except the final build only looked half as cool as therirs did lol. I only have 3 RGB fans and not every single part glows like theirs. But having a Ryzen 7 7800x3d CPU and a 4070 Super GPU together feels like I can run any game at max settings and I love it
Im gonna get mine in later 2024 im so excited ❤
The nerve is so true I thought the psu didn't have enough power but it did!
this is so accurate it’s insane
I'm in doing this for my first time ever, well I had xp when I was a kid, but recieving every part is hand shaking emotions.🎉🎉
I finished my first PC a month ago and I can say, while it's far from perfect, I've never been so happy with a build I've made myself.
I literally built mine the other day. Took me a couple of months to get all the parts and turn that on for the first time. A few minor problems but I fixed it and it was amazing. So proud of myself
Did you install Windows 10 or 11 on it? I am building mine soon and I want to hear your opinion on whatever one you installed.
I'm proud of myself for ordering a pre built one online. 😅
When i finished building my gaming pc my heart was beating so fast thinking it would not work
Just built my first PC this Monday, can't explain how happy I was to finally get it working 😅
I wish i could build one day
Then there’s me, studied building pcs for like 6 months then finally committed
Built my first one during quarantine, spend 10 total hours building it (albeit with breaks) and I plugged my HDMI into my motherboard and it took me until the next day to figure it out
I built my first PC a few weeks ago spent $3600ish on it. After 11 hrs of trying and getting so frustrated I put the return order back in for the parts on Newegg and went to bed was gonna return everything the next day or so. Next day my friend got on me about giving up so easily so he helped me build it and it worked. Then it took me 2 days to get the operating system and drivers and everything working. Tbh I was so mad at building it but after everything is done I'm glad I did. Now I know how to build a PC and I know my pc from the inside out
super wholesome story. what a good friend!
Lol pretty nice for a first build. Mine was in 2000. Got parts from local pc stores and a pc trade show. Building pcs was way different back then, not to mention more difficult to get working.
The feeling of power:
Money: not so high
Status: kinda high
Popular: high
Your new gaming pc turning on 1st try after building it: ULTRA MEGA INFINITY HIGH
I recently just built one and, oh man the cable management was… REALLY GOOD (it was terrible BUT YEA) Def wanna build another pc if i ever had the chance to again. And to all of those people thinking abt building one i def recommend. Its really cool. 👍👍
Everything you described in this video happened to me literally yesterday ! 😂 (For my first rig i got an I5-13600KF with an rtx 4060, not too shabby.)
That cable management is chefs kiss
this is scarily accurate, considering that just a couple of days ago i built my first gaming pc and this was definitely the process
You forgot to add the having a heart attack because you screens black for a entire minute while your cpu gets to know your bios
And then the even worse panic of getting to a point you didn’t expect to be able to get to and having to now deal with software and bios
Was it just me or when I first started my self built pc I was so untrusty of myself that I was scared it might even blow up when I power it up, hopefully I survived, also I had to reassemble my pc 2 days later because I didnt watch tutorials and didn't notice my case opened up from the side to enable cable managing so i did. Now i'm living my best life😅
nice cable menagement man!
I don’t watch tutorials but when I opened the gpu i started trembling
Building a pc was wayyy easier than I thought it was going to be 😂😂
Just built my first computer and you’re right now!… except for the part where my AIO was DOA and had to get RMA’d. that part sucked.
Even though I've never built a computer before, I got my own small taste of this feeling. A few days ago, I took out my SSD drive to see how the manufacturers of my prebuilt applied the thermal pad. It was really stressful when I was plugging the SSD back in, and I was afraid of messing it up. Rushing to plug my PC back into everything to see if it would even boot into windows. Needless to say, everything works fine.
I hope someday i can experience building my own pc cause im too broke
Im gonna start now!
At the time my pc parts arrived, i had wached 100 tutorials lol
You did a good job for you first time! You could definitely cable manage more but other than that it looks great
that or your dad “helps” you, ends up being you watching in awe as he magically and elegantly puts the magic pieces together and creates your new masterpiece that’s gonna be replaces in a year or two
I remember building mine - pure paranoia, sweating bullets thinking I've broken something. Just got a new GPU and I swear I burnt 200kcal just sweating my balls off from the fear
man this is hella relatable
I got alot of knowledge for pc building considering I'm also 14, however I'm gonna take IT classes to learn more ticks and info for pc building my dream is to become a computer architect
"best feeling ever"💯 agree
Better than turning it on and being greeted by the smell of burning metal and smoke💀
When I built my first PC I plugged the display cord into the wrong port and didn't get any picture when I booted it up. I almost started crying 😂. But I eventually figured it out and was so relieved that I almost started crying again 😂
I can relate it was one of the best feelings when it worked
I just built my first one with my dad yesterday! He got me an MSI RTX 4090 Suprim Liquid X and a Ryzen 9 7950X3D. Haven’t gotten any games yet but I’m sure it’ll easily run any game I throw at it (while sipping power of course).
I’m 13 and I built a gaming pc. It was a lot of fun!
I had a myriad of problems when building my first and current pc. First, my cooler kept failing. It kept shutting off my pc due to overheating. Ended up being a loose cable that everyone talks about (Corsair). Then, I got no image from the computer. Also ended up discovering that you’re supposed to plug in directly to the GPU, not the motherboard. Finally, learning what everything meant (resolution, fps, etc) was a nightmare but I’m slowly getting the hang of it. Safe to say I’m glad I listened to my friends who recommended building instead of buying a prebuilt.
I mean you could research how to build a computer and choose parts before buying parts but oh well. Its not that bad as long as you don't force things to much it's eazzy peazzy. A tiny amount of force is needed for the ram for example but almost everything is labeled and or made to fit only a specific connector so again as long as you don't force connectors in to sockets or stuff like that, it's fine.
when i built my first pc 2 years ago i felt like i did this before many times cuz of the 10k+ pc build videos i watched to learn about tech 😂
This was the best feeling ever, I was tripping balls when I saw everything boot on first try.
That is literally a better feeling than winning the lottery
As a person with an older brother who has had PC’s in the past, and has built PC’s. I think I’m a bit lucky when I’m ready to get into this stuff.
I just built my first pc today, and thankfully it worked on the first try.
Me who loves my computer and is keeping it maintained for 10 years when I bought it and is constantly upgrading it but not buying a new pc.
Hmm..
Hope your first pc is your favourite pc!
So i would recommend peeling the plastic off the glass BEFORE you power on the pc
Me with asus laptop " ya i-i- can defo relate "
Actually built my first pc 2 days ago and it’s both very satisfying and super stressful because of cable management
And I probably made so many mistakes for example the two I acknowledged are that I put my fully modular psu in the casing before connecting all the cables to it that made it like 10x more difficult and then I put my graphicscard in the mainboard and forgot to take out the plates in the back and because it clicked already i couldn’t get it out so I had 2 options either disassemble the whole motherboard to get the graphicscard out or risc to break the the plates on the case so I chose option 2 and thankfully it didn’t break
In the end I somehow managed to complete it turned it on and it works now
the last step i have to do is download windows on it and I’m done
That’s my beginners experience😂
Literally just finished building mine bruh, so happy. Now I gotta do all the driver stuff but ion even got a windows key lol
I just built my first gaming pc a few days ago, it finally works!
I can't be the only one who's case arrived late so you ended up turning it on with a screw driver between the pins at the bottom
Its like building legos as a kid
Turning it on is the most scariest feeling
Pray your psu actually works, iv had to wait weeks for a new one, at that point I already lost feeling.
this is why i watch videos of these builds since i can’t afford all the specs
Well I am guy without a pc but still watching this video knowing that my dad won’t buy a pc for me .
That glass panel peel almost gave me heart attack
The "you begin to doubt if it will even work" is part of every single build.
i dream this kind of stuff lol
