Don’t modify it. Sell it. Flipping an XL hybrid for that kind of profit is a limited opportunity. I sold a XL hybrid for $7500 more than I paid to CarMax in July and they still haven’t sold it. I had co-pilot and the hitch. The market has changed. Take the money and run. Use the money to buy a nicer truck. How many times in your life have you bought a vehicle and it appreciated 25% after you bought it?
Almost 8k miles into my 23 XL hybrid and I absolutely love it. The gas mileage is absolutely insane, and the bed is just big enough for what I need. Hell, I had 900lbs in the bed for a 90ish mile trip and averaged 41mpg! The only options I got were the full size spare, drop in bed liner, and all season floor mats.
I sold a 23 XL hybrid for $7500 more and a 22 XLT FWD ecoboost for $3000 more. That knocked $10,500 off the 2023 Lariat that I am driving. The truck is paid in full so no messing with a high interest car loan. Take the money, pay all cash, and get a nicer truck … whatever that means for you.
I agree with you on wanting Co-Pilot 360. I ordered my 2022 hybrid as soon as I read about them. I got the 360, hitch and rear slider. I'm very glad I got the 360 and hitch. I opened the slider 2-3 times so decided not to order it on my 2024. That plus the fact that it's not offered. I have a build date for end of Oct, so will see how that works out. My 22 took 4 months to deliver. My 23 never materialized so I'm trying for a 24. Going with XLT this time. After 30,000 miles I'm very satisfied with the 40+MPG and hauling ability. I traded in a Kia Soul that thought it was a truck but couldn't handle high items or 8'+ long stuff.
I have a 2023 hybrid xl working perfectly, the only issue is the radio sync 3, it downloads the update but never installs them .. do someone have the same issue?
