  • I've had a koi pond in my yard for many years, and I thought I would share what it looks like when it is at its peak, in late summer.

    Do you do water tests in a regular basis?

      That is an excellent question. I personally have never bothered with water testing, I just do very regular water changes and filter maintenance. Using pond test kits and test strips to keep track of ion levels (especially nitrates and nitrites) is a great idea and I would certainly recommend it. I understand there are test kits that indicate for bacteria as well, I see no harm in using those as well.

      @@Science_Man After all these years it appears you got the formula right. Yours is one of my favourite ponds and this is one of my favourite video.
