99-00 01-02 and 03-04 all have small differences powered visor key pad painted mirrors mirror turn signals headlights and taillights, third brake light, door handles, radio, overhead console, 3.55 vs 3.73 gears, bilstiens shocks vs motor craft, bigger air inlet on the blowers, 8thread heads vs 4 thread heads, grilles, fog lights rear leaf springs, 3 different rim styles door switches, that’s about it from my knowledge,, glad to see someone make a video on it I’m always explaining this is the forums

There's another difference between 99-04 it's the supercharger the 99-00 it's had 360 hp and better MPG and in 01-04 SVT made some changes and opened more the eaton charger and it puts out 380 hp and it's more weaker in MPG like 3 MPG shorter

Aftermarket black clear tails are what shoulda came on the ⚡stock instead of the altezza style. Was literally the first thing I did when I got mine. Black looks 1000x better
I've owned both too but the look of the 04 grill is growing on me! I think the red taillights of the 99 would clash with the red 04 so maybe i dont mind the clear ones
@@AmericanVsImports yes 04 and a 02 only the 04 came with the crome door handle and the supercharger is different also 99 00 can't work with the 01 to 04

Brother, most of the changes you mentioned happened in 2001. There are 3 sets of rims; 99-00, 01-02,03-04

Not 100% accurate. There's an online thread on the lightningrodder with specific details in diffrence between the 99-00, 01-02, and the 03-04 trucks.
The handle on the glove box is center on my 2003. Earlier models the handle was to the left side.

2001 did not come with the door handle buttons.
