This is such a pretty bracelet. The crystals and silky cord really makes it elegant. I'll probably be using hemp or waxed linen and gemstone beads when I try this design.
It's been decades since I've done any macrame, so please forgive my ignorance. I'm wondering if you really need the half hitch on the left and right threads before securing, or "cementing", each bead with a square knot. If yes, can you please explain why?

They're 6x4mm crystal rondelles yes 😊
Questions, in one section of the tutorial, there is information on the screen regarding cord size. It says " 3 X 0.5 mm". The second time it's on the screen regarding cord size it says" 2 X 0.5mm" . I am not sure if this pattern requires 2 different size cording. Also didn’t see size of crystal looks to be a rondel. Sorry if this is a dumb question, the bracelet is beautiful I've only seen the 2 rows of crystals. I like your tutorial a lot!
Hi Brent Im glad you like the project.
I have used a total of 4.5m of one colour of 0.5mm cord. The cord is cut into three lengths of 50cm for the base and two lengths of 1.5m for the tying of knots.
The crystal is 6x4mm

Gorgeous bracelet...I tried counting how many beads you need to for this project, I got 41 or 43 not sure but when I started doing the bracelet but that just makes a little over three inches...could you please tell me how many beads you used and what size it ended up being...Thanks

Hmm, I think I would start with the center bead to make a tapered end.
