The real meaning of “#freeAdam2020” is actually hilariously mean. It was started as a hashtag on Tik tok when this family first became popular. It basically meant “free”the kid with the fedora from his psychotic family bc a bunch of girls thought he was cute. Idk if the family actually understood that they were getting made fun of.

tbh this reminds me of the Cowsills in the 1960s and 1970s. 6 siblings (they had a 7th, but he wasn’t in the band) who sang in a band with their mom. their dad was the manager. they put on a very close-knit, happy, family-friendly persona but decades later it was revealed that their dad emotionally abused them and beat the shit out of them and they were completely fucked up. after the band broke up, they went years and years with rarely talking to each other. 4 of the siblings are still alive and now perform together but at this point they’re all 62-73 years old…
but regardless, they were and still are extremely talented and one of my favorite bands ever lol. obviously every sibling had a huge passion for music but the dad was very controlling and everything the public saw was a facade, the media was forced to present them as a bubblegum pop catholic family. just kinda concerned that might be the case for this family.

Had a major flashback to my own childhood... these kids make me sad. The last line where he said “the parents are living their dreams through their kids” is exactly the issue. They are being conditioned. It will take a major toll on their mental health when they finally get out in the real world. Speaking from personal experience.

Listen, if your parents are well off, love and support you, and have traditional values then chances are you turn out the same. Would they be less "conditioned" if they were conditioned into progressive atheism instead? Someone teaches your kids values it might as well be you.
These kids are probably a part of the less than 2% of Americans that did not see pornography before adulthood.
Don't project your daddy issues on to people just because you can't believe others can have a nice wholesome childhood.
@@toaojackson7447 I don't this person above was insulting the religious aspect of the family, but worried about how the kids might be put in a situation where their parents are forcing them to do this. Being shoved into the spotlight at a young age is not something I would consider a "wholesome childhood" (also note how the original commenter never mentioned religion but you made it about religion. I think that says more about you than it does about them.)

My comment wasn't about religion at all I just used "progressive atheism" as an example, but my point is clearly that the OP is reading into this happy wholesome family as being conditioned and brainwashed and projecting their own family issues.

@@toaojackson7447 Sorry, re-reading your original comment i believe i mis-interpreted the religious bit, my apologies. But still I think the OP wasn't concerned that the children had the same values as their parent, more that they were being conditioned into have an online presence/fame at a young age. They weren't concerned about their family moral choices to raise, but their parents' choice to try and make their kids famous. If i'm still mis-interpreting your original comment, my deepest apologies.
