Hi, wouldn't entering the corners so early make you lose all of your lean for the first 2-3 cross strides? Thanks for your video they are great btw ! Could you do one on 5000 & 10 000m strategy when paired up against someone that usually finish with 0-3sec of you ? ( set up your drafts and attack or keep up pace ... ). Just did 7:05 PR at sea level (Quebec) and its starting to make a difference I think. Thanks
William thank you for the question. It would seem that you'd lose lean early if you set it up early, but again, it depends on where your apex is. The Dutch put the apex at about 65%-70% of the turn, and therefore begin it early. With the right line, it works well. As for racing someone a bit better in the 10k, plan your pace to try to be about 1 to 1.5 seconds behind and draft your competitor every other lap.
Thanks for the great videos! They helped me so much with my technique already
You're welcome Gabriel!

Back on form today. Gonna be a dogfight between Roest, Nils, Bergsma and the Canadians and Russians at the olympics.
You're right on that! Should be exciting...
