@@rubydancer4241 Bit of an overreaction much? Owen Wilson has been saying wow his whole career. Its his thing. Boseman got annoyed because fans would come up and ask him to do the pose and probably say the line as well at times, which IMO is far different and worse than Owen saying one single word in a movie. Get over yourself. You have no idea how Owen feels and in fact you're so wrong that he did a little interview a few years back where he says he does it just for his dedicated fans and even has a chuckle after.

When Ravonna said that she'd never seen the Time-Keepers so involved, I got the feeling that was the same one step too far that Loki took when HE was lying. I'm almost certain that not only are the Time-Keepers NOT involved with the case, but they actually aren't around AT ALL. Either dead, disappeared, or whatever, leaving the TVA to just run on tradition and regulation without anyone actually being in charge.

Agreed. Ravonna seems to be the only one who claims to know what the Time-Keepers are doing, and when that conversation happened, I was immediately like, "So there are no Time-Keepers, they're just Big Brother, and Ravonna is running everything?"
Agreed. I’m pretty confident the TVA will end up being villains, and it will need to be taken down at some point.

Ding ding ding! This is a red herring. Has to be. I'm guessing either the Enchantress or even OG 616 Loki ("Old Man" Loki) is the actual villain of the series.

@@dasik84 I'm okay with them changing up her look, but there are a few things leading me to favor the Enchantress theory. She *really* didn't like being called Loki, Loki explicitly referred to what she was doing as enchantment, she displayed a power set consistent with the comic character (including what seems to be telepathy at the end?), and there's that leak about the international translations of the cast in the credits.

I think it's a burn about it being about HER and not him for a change. I don't think the two sides of Loki's gender get along. He probably doesn't let her come out to play much.

My two standout things about the episode. One, Tom Hiddleston spoke perfect Latin (he was a classics major at Cambridge). Two, Cookeville, TN (the only Cookeville) is in the list of cities, and I went to college there (just an hour east of Nashville). I am dying of curiosity to know why the writers put it on the list, and nothing happened in September 1999 (though maybe something will happen now).
Amazing how the added the bit about the Loki lectures in the episode. Tom must have been really good with those when they were filming.

I went into this show with no expectations but I’ll tell you what, so far it’s amazing. That 2nd episode was pretty epic!
Also, SOMEONE needs to add Owen Wilson’s face to the opening MCU credits and the music rhythm is him saying “wow” like y’all were.
"that was a little Iron Man-y" I also find a good bit of similarity with Iron Man 3 in some parts. They both involved the character having to deal with their situation without their powers or suit.

True story. In 1995, age 15, my now husband lived on a cove of our city lake and had a jetski. I lived 2 blocks from a park on another cove, and he would come pick me up, so I didn't have to ride my bike for miles. Good summer.

The renaissance fair is actually a real fair in Wisconsin that my family used to go to in the summer. Typically, they are only open there in the summer, but there are times in the fall where they’re open. Also, I’m almost certain they actually filmed there.
The other 'agent' Mobius referred to is probably just a variant version of him.

I think, Lady Loki just wanted things to be what it supposed to be, multiverse time line, not a single sacret time line
My theory for what we'll find out in Loki: The Multiverse/alternate timeline's was always meant to exist and the Time Keepers watched over it. But the TVA didn't want to deal with so much, so they locked the Time Keepers away and deleated every other alternate timeline that made up the Multiverse. Now they are trying to keep the Multiverse from returning and the "bad Loki Variant" is from an Alternate Universe that got deleated. She realised the truth and is trying to take down the TVA and restore the Multiverse. That's what I think is eventually going to be revealed.
A. You can officially add "wow" to your list of pReview'd sayings. I expect to see it in the intro in the coming days and weeks.
B. Hannibal Lecter proved that working with a psychopath to catch a psychopath could be effective but you're going to break a few eggs along the way.

I think Lady Loki variant isn't just a variant but THE main Loki that is disguised as 'Enchantress' so that they trick the time keepers that their endgame for Loki actually happened and that's why she says not to call her that (Also it serves as a red herring but also an easter egg to Sylvie/Enchantress) and we are going to see our variant Loki is the one that dies in Infinity War.
