  • We invite you to join us for Conversations with Jewish Believers In Jesus hosted by Jeff Morgan. In this episode, Jeff talks with Jewish entrepreneur Marc Stein about his search for true and lasting peace, and how he found it where he least expected it.
As Marc Stein puts it, he grew up as a “very typical Jewish kid in LA.” But as he grew and gained success in business, his life became anything but typical. It wasn’t until a series of personal and professional failures, that he recognized his need for something more: faith in Yeshua. Success began to look different to Stein. Since then, he has served in executive positions in three different ministries. Today, Marc and his wife, Sylvia, reside in a little coastal community in Southern California, and have five children and eight grandchildren living across the country.

This talk was confirmation for me! I didn’t grow up with a lot of money, and I’ve spent a good part of my life wondering why I can’t seem to acquire a big, beautiful house, and some of the money that other people have… But I’m starting to gain some traction with my finances, and I’m realizing, it’s true! Money does not buy happiness. It’s a temporary emotion when you purchase some thing and then it gathers dust and it’s just a thing. I’ve been contemplating this today and getting more and more breakthrough that all I really need is Jesus Jesus Jesus.

Yes when things are over our heads and we are looking into the abyss , we can quit ( so many people taking their own lives these days ) or keep going.
And the only way I can keep walking is by processing everything in prayer and studying the word . I gain new perspectives that I need,l in that season, and the abyss I was.looking into somehow becomes the place where I am touched by God.

Lord have mercy on the poor, while millions have so much money, some iam sure give to ministries etc. but to those who are not helping others my heart goes out to them, and I Pray for their Salvation. May they come to the light of Christ.

This is really opening up my heart towards Jewish people again because I've always secretly thought in my heart, well, they're generally rich and successful, they live privileged lives as "white people" and they definitely seem to have their rewards here on EARTH, so why would / should this black man care about their eternal salvation? But this conversation reminds me we ALL need Jesus despite earthly circumstances and possessions. I appreciated Marc's candor. Thanks for this interview ;)

I posted this on Facebook a few days ago since this topic has been on my mind.
Anyone is only saved by faith. If you build on that with gold of persevering faith through trials of life you get reward in heaven. If not you'll be saved still but your lifes work all worthless stuff you accumulated burns away and you exchanged it all for eternal reward you could've earned through faithful life.
13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. 14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ

@@BibleBound333 yes saved by grace. How? It is the gift of God. Through what? Faith. When we believe we receive grace. Then build on the foundation of Christ with Gold and precious stones. How? A life of overcoming the world's temptations and living for God. Witnessing, praying, tending to God's people etc. Stacking up treasure in heaven where thieves don't steal it and it never fades away. In heaven the one who believed but didn't do much won't be equal to the one who believed and lived a life devoted to God. There's rewards from God for what we do.

[Genesis 1 Elohim vs Genesis 2 Yahweh Elohim]:
"Deus" means "God", "Dea" means "Goddess", and "Dei" could either mean "gods" (plural) or "God's" (possessive) based on context.
The Hebrew counterparts to the Latin above are El, Elah and Elohim. The Hebrews "syncretized" these three titles into all just meaning "El". The sheer amount of biblical contradictions that has caused is staggering.
TL;DR Yahweh is a Deity, not Deus, and a false one at that.
The Elohist uses the possessive context for Elohim (except when referencing the false Elohim).
The Yahwist, Priestly and Deuteronomist use the plural context for Elohim (except when referencing the true Elohim).
What is the heresy of two powers in heaven?
The basic heresy involved interpreting scripture to say that a principal angelic or hypostatic manifestation in heaven was equivalent to God. The earliest heretics believed in two complementary powers in heaven, while later heretics believed in two opposing powers in heaven.
The Bible isn't about El/Theos/Deus or whatever language you want to say the title (not a name) meaning God. The Bible is about Elohim (sons of El).
    Good vs evil Elohim,
    True vs false Elohim,
    Chosen vs adopted Elohim,
    Necessary vs contingent Elohim,
Genesis 1 Elohim vs Genesis 2 Yahweh Elohim.
Bibles should note when Elohim is used as plural or possessive. They do not. Try reading the NOG translation on Bible Gateway website. Uncensored.
El and Elah are also mentioned but not until much later in the story and far less frequently than the true and false Elohim.
Theology comes from combining two Greek words: Theos, meaning God, and Logos, meaning Word or rational thought.
[The Word is Elohim from Genesis 1]
(not to be confused with Yahweh Elohim, the false Elohim, from Genesis 2)
    Compare John 1: 1-5 with Genesis 1: 1-5:
    John 1: 1-5
    Names of God Bible
    The Word Becomes Human
1 In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was already with God in the beginning.
3 Everything came into existence through him. Not one thing that exists was made without him.
4 He was the source of life, and that life was the light for humanity.
5 The light shines in the dark, and the dark has never extinguished it.
    Genesis 1: 1-5
    Names of God Bible
    The Creation
1 In the beginning Elohim created heaven and earth.
2 The earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the deep water. The Ruach Elohim was hovering over the water.
3 Then Elohim said, “Let there be light!” So there was light. 4 Elohim saw the light was good. So Elohim separated the light from the darkness. 5 Elohim named the light day, and the darkness he named night. There was evening, then morning-the first day.

[Yahweh Elohim from Genesis 2 is the false Elohim]:
      (1) The LORD = Baal:
      2 Samuel 5: 20
      Names of God Bible
20 So David went to Baal Perazim and defeated the Philistines there. He said, “Yahweh has overwhelmed my enemies in front of me like an overwhelming flood.” That is why that place is called Baal Perazim [The LORD Overwhelms].
      (2) The anger of the Yahweh = Satan:
      Compare the following two verses:
      [2 Samuel 24: 1]
Again the anger of the Yahweh burned against Israel, and he incited David against them, saying, “Go and take a census of Israel and Judah.”
      and
      [1 Chronicles 21:1]
Satan rose up against Israel and incited David to take a census of Israel.
      (3) Israelites and Canaanites are friends, relatives and neighbors:
In Exodus 12:40 the Masoretic text reads: “The length of the time the Israelites lived in Egypt was 430 years,” a sentence that has created massive chronological problems for Jewish historians, since there is no way to make the genealogies last that long. In the Samaritan version, however, the text reads: “The length of time the Israelites lived in Canaan and in Egypt was 430 years.”
Is Yahweh the son of El?
Yahweh was originally described as one of the sons of El (Elohim) in Deuteronomy 32:8-9, but this was removed by a later emendation to the text. With the notable exception of Yahweh himself, the deities worshipped by Israel were also Canaanite. These included El, the ruler of the pantheon, Asherah, his consort, and Baal.
      (4) The villian of the Baal Cycle is an adopted (from the broader Levantine polytheism) character named Yam (Canaanite word for Sea) who gets his name changed by God to Yaw for being a tyrant. The Mt Ebal curse tablet, oldest Yahweh inscription ever found, has YHWH as just YHW. Yaw, who was originally named Yam.
      (5) Baals and asherahs (Lords and ladies in English) are gods/goddesses and the Baal Cycle takes place in heaven. You should read it. That's when Yahweh Elohim (false Elohim) from Genesis 2 got kicked out of heaven (off heavenly Mt Saphon):
      Judges 3
      Names of God Bible
7 The people of Israel did what Yahweh considered evil. They forgot Yahweh their Elohim and served other gods and goddesses-the Baals and the asherahs.
      1 Samuel 31
      Names of God Bible
10 They put his armor in the temple of their goddesses-the asherahs-and fastened his corpse to the wall of Beth Shan.
      2 Chronicles 34: 4
      Names of God Bible
4 He had the altars of the various Baal gods torn down. He cut down the incense altars that were above them. He destroyed the Asherah poles, carved idols, and metal idols. He ground them into powder and scattered the powder over the tombs of those who had sacrificed to them.
      (6) A murderer while keeping his hands clean:
      Deuteronomy 34
      Names of God Bible
10 There has never been another prophet in Israel like Moses, whom Yahweh dealt with face to face. 11 He was the one Yahweh sent to do all the miraculous signs and amazing things in Egypt to Pharaoh, to all his officials, and to his whole country. 12 Moses used his mighty hand to do all the spectacular and awe-inspiring deeds that were seen by all the Israelites.
      (7) The LORD of flies:
      Isaiah 7
      Names of God Bible
17 “Yahweh will bring on you, your people, and your ancestor’s family a time unlike any since Ephraim broke away from Judah. He will bring the king of Assyria.
18 On that day Yahweh will whistle for the flies that are at the distant branches of the Nile River in Egypt and for the bees that are in Assyria.
19 All of them will come and settle in the deep valleys, in the cracks in the cliffs, on all the thornbushes, and at all the water holes.
Lastly, the Father of Lies: "I am Yahweh your Elohim."
