Hi everyone! I hope you enjoy this ridiculously long video tour of Don Quijote. What kinds of items would you buy? Have you been to a Don Quijote before? Any other types of stores you'd like me to tour inside of? Let me know in the comments here! Thanks for watching, please stay safe and healthy, and Happy Thanksgiving!

Don Quijote must be the biggest store on earth. I seen another girl who shared this store on her vid. I wouldn't be able to tour in one day. thx so much
It sometimes feels like it, right? The biggest one is in Shibuya, and I've never been inside of that one. I have been to the one in Akihabara, which is also pretty huge. Thank you for watching!
This is one of my favorite shops to go to when in Japan. Since I can't be there, this was a great video to watch. Thanks for taking time go through the store!
It's so nice to see your videos again, it's like feeling at home. I remember that when you were doing live videos from Korea, I would get up at dawn, in the summer there is an 8h difference and in the winter 9h between Korea and Portugal and I assume it is the same in Japan, to try to interact with you and , there was a day when i did it ... i looked like a kid when suddenly you answered my message. Keep up the good work.
hahaha Yeah, thanks for all the support and what not. Japan and Korea are in the same time zone, so yeah, 8-hour difference in summer, 9-hour difference in winter (for daylight savings). Thanks for watching and commenting! Please stay safe. ^^
These videos are damn good. I really prefer longer vids, they’re much more immersive and informative. I’d love to see inside convenience stores. Thank you so so much.
Thanks for watching! Filming in a convenience store is much more difficult for me. The small store size has 2 to 4 employees working, and they're watching to see who's in the store. It'd be very easy for them to notice I'm wearing a camera and in the store for a long time looking at every item. hehehe I've tried before and had a staff person try to call the cops on me once during a live stream. I think it's still possible, but much more risky. Thanks for watching and check out the other videos in the Japanese Store Tour playlist! ^^
It's an amazing store to get lost in. This one isn't even that big. There are some really big ones in Tokyo that have even more stuff! Thanks for watching. ^^
Your videos are amazing! Unlike most RUclipsrs who just go into to places and only show items quickly, you take the time to go around talk about stuff even if it takes hours to do so. (Also you completely skipped the adult section🤣) After seeing this Don Quijote video, I would never want to leave! I am obsessed with stores like this. So much to see and buy, It's like heaven. Maybe one day I'll be able to make it to Japan to see it in person! Thanks for the video!😊
hahahaha Yeah, I skipped it on purpose because I can't show the stuff inside on RUclips without it being flagged or reported for sexual content. I appreciate your kind words! I noticed no one really does these long-form tour videos in stores, so I'm glad I can provide that type of content for you and others who miss shopping and exploring during the pandemic. When I went to Donki in Tokyo it felt so overwhelming everytime. There's so much stuff all the way from the floor to the ceiling. Thank you for the video, it was a nice remiscement of the controlled chaos that is Donki!
Yeah! I used to go to the one over on Kaheka St. in Honolulu all the time. My friend's apt was at the Continental 909, and I lived over by the Convention Center. I used to wash my clothes at the laundromat at the backside of Don Quijote there. ^^
@@CoryMay81I remember you mentioning on a livestream that you used to live in Hawaii! When did you live in Hawaii? I live near the Kaheka one too, I go to that one all the time! This was a fun video! Totally miss Japan! Thanks! 😊
Thanks man! Every time I visit Japan I always find time to go to Donki. I havent traveled due to fricken Covid. Not many vids out there that show the interior. Keep it coming bro!
Oh nice! There's a really tiny 3 Coins near my house. And 2 decently sized Daiso. But this Donki in Kashiwa is the closest one to my house. Thanks for watching the video!
I wonder if it's better for steadier footage to just hold the action camera instead of mounting it to my body. It seems like too much movement whenever I turn left or right. At least with handheld, I can steady it when I turn so people don't get sick watching the video. lol
Bro this video. Not vising Don was the one thing we regretted when we left (completely forgot about doing it). Thank you for the content as always, I appreciate your perspective.
Dang, that sucks! The ones in Tokyo are more interesting than this one way out in Kashiwa, but still interesting to see in general. Thanks for watching!!!

Glad you enjoyed the video! I'll have a Daiso tour video uploaded in the near future. There's one near my house that I go to sometimes. Stay tuned! Thanks!
I love this store. There is so much selections to choose from especially for the pets. Oh my goodness, pet clothes and pet food. Wow so many choices. I wish there is a store like this where I live in the US
I forgot to say “Thank you” for taking the time to give us such a detail tour of the Japanese stores. I truly loved all of your videos. So informative and our family loves you
Holy cow, this place is awesome!! So much stuff! I can guarantee you I would get lost in here within five minutes. Thanks so much for filming! I wanna go to Japan one day and these types of videos are both fun and informing! Not to mention your commentary is cool and amusing ^^. Thanks for keeping me (and my family, sometimes!) entertained while we're all still inside due to the virus. I've never been to a place like this before unless you count outlet malls or a super huge Target or Walmart! I would go straight for all the Pokemon stuff 😂 Best wishes from the U.S.!
You're welcome! Glad you enjoyed the store tour. This store isn't even as crazy as the ones inside of Tokyo. hehehe I'll be filming more soon, so stay tuned!
I don't think Donki sells fake name brand goods because of Japan's strict counterfeit laws. I think the name brand stuff is discounted, like outlet malls.
Hi. Just subscribed because I love walking around big stores etc. I live in England. Where I live, most big stores have closed due to covid. 😢 We have one boring shopping mall so I'm mostly using Online shops. Your videos are a relief. Your voice is soothing. I can't remember the last time I went 'shopping' Months I think. Anyway, thanks and best wishes to you.
I enjoyed this video and the one in the supermarket, I was watching both of them eagerly waiting for the pet section and both times, once you finally got there, you just breezes 😂 by it, I wanted to just see all the cool stuff for dogs that Japan may have
i love your videos, just found out about it after searching about japan, it really feels like im the one going shopping, and i miss japan so much. hope the pandemic season pass so i can go there again QwQ n im not bored at all!!!! ur explaination is just enough and not annoying at all xD
Thank you for the great walking video of DQ! I usually make an effort to visit one near my family's house in Kyoto. You're definitelly right that you can get lost wandering around the store and I usually end up buying one thing lol. Since it's a bit difficult to get enough protein from meals in Japan (without being too expensive) I usually got to DQ to buy a small bag of protein powder. Last time I visited Japan during the winter, DQ had a big selection of holiday decorations which was nice. One of my favorite things I saw in the video is the Green Tea socks and also the shoes. For some reason I always enjoy looking at the shoes section in Japan (mostly in department stores in the countryside such as Izumiya and Al Plaza) -Danny
Oh, that's a good idea. I didn't think about the protein thing. I'll have to go back and take a look at their prices. Japan has a ton of shoe stores. I sometimes browse the more high-end ones and imagine what it would be like to be able to afford $450 shoes. hahahaha Thanks for watching, Danny. And it was nice to see you in today's stream from central Tokyo! Happy Thanksgiving!
@@CoryMay81 Yep! The livestream was great. Thank you for your hard work and a happy thanksgiving to you. I saw your thanksgiving KFC meal and it looked tasty!
This was one of the best videos I have watched about Shopping in Japan. Taking the time to show the aisles and the end caps were great. I hope you don't mind me making a suggestion but could you please not spin around so much and not turn so fast. I was making me dizzy. But other than that it was excellent video. Thank you so much for uploading.
Thanks, Lisa! I appreciate the lovely comment. Yeah, that was my major worry, the turning was too fast. It was my first time filming with the camera at my chest, so that's the reason why. I prefer handheld, but I couldn't do it in this situation. Thanks for the feedback
Honestly I've always wanted to go to a donki. But this video kind of made my head hurt with how much stuff there actually. Its going to be so overwhelming when I go. Can't wait
Tsukiji market actually moved to Toyosu a few years ago, and it's difficult to film or take pics in there without permission. But, it's also far away from me. I did swing by the original Tsukiji market grounds a few weeks ago in a previous live stream, ate a huge raw oyster, and some delicious kaisendon. Thanks for watching!
1:01:10 We call them ... minimarkets lol Also the sanitary pads were super cheap!! for a packet like that in my country they double the price easily. Next shop tour... Daiso? 👀 Have a nice day Cory!
Ah, yes! Mini-marts... how did I forget that word?!? hahaha I've been in Asia for almost 8 years. I haven't used some English words in a long time. Oh, stay tuned for a Daiso tour soon!
I sat through this in one go! Go me! :D But really nice and interesting to see all different things in one store. A true warehouse. And thanks for not showing us the V's, T's and P's :D
Wow, congrats! I know some people don't like the super long videos. It is super overwhelming, though, huh? And don't worry, I wouldn't risk getting my channel banned by showing that stuff. hehehe Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the tour at Don Quijote, Cory. I've been in one and could spend hours and hours browsing though it but would never buy anything because the prices are quite expensive. Then I'd go to the nearest Daiso where I actually buy stuff from. By the way, I finally watched Kimetsu no Yaiba anime...per your recommendation. I was rewatching One Punch Man seasons 1-2, and I thought might as well check out what the hype is about. While I love the characters and some animations were really gorgeous, the pacing and story felt a little flat for me, especially the ending. I was hoping for a big boss battle, as you do, but I thought the last 3 episodes were filler episodes. I felt like instead of sticking to the landing, the creators were interested in establishing sequels (and the movie). What a massive cliffhanger. That's just me though. Maybe I didn't get it or maybe the anime didn't just work for me. Anyway, here's a video idea for you. I'd love to see the leaves changing color near your area. I guess it's about that time there. We just missed the autumn season when we visited Japan, but there were early signs when we left. That said, see you on your next video. Take care, Cory!
hahaha Daiso is always a life saver. Can't beat the prices there! Yeah, I can see your POV on Demon Slayer. I think there's supposed to be more animated later, but it was delayed because of the pandemic, plus the focus went into the newly released movie as well. You know, I'm dying to capture some of the leaves changing here but the timing is all off. For example, when the weather was nice and I had some extra time, the leaves were like... 3 or 4 days away from being at peak color change. But then when those days came, there were massive wind gusts, some rain, and I also had weird working hours so I couldn't go out to film. I'm afraid that when the rain stops and I go out to film, all the leaves will have fallen. Many have already. I've only gathered maybe a few minutes worth of footage so far, and that's it. It's really disappointing! 2020 has been really bad for me with weather literally ruining some key filming opportunities. Grrrrrrr.... so annoying! Tomorrow is supposed to be partly sunny and no rain, so I'm going to go out in hope of finding a few trees that still have their wonderful colors. But my hopes aren't that high at this point. T_T
@@CoryMay81 Oh no! There, there! You'll find the perfect day to film one day. We-that is, I-are very patient. LOL! I completely agree. The year 2020 has been a hot mess inside of a dumpster fire, inside of a train wreck! But I have a feeling things will turn up by December or January 2021. I mean, I hope so. Otherwise, humanity is doomed! Cheer up, Cory!
I know this is 2yrs old but in the video you mention the clothing like Adidas and other brands in store. They are all authentic brands inside Din Quijote.
For Germany I would say, this is a mix of IKEA, Nanu-Nana and Butlers... and those shops which sell things from closure and stuff from the last season. (Rudis Resterampe)
Very interesting! I hope I can see what a Nanu-Nana and Butlers is like. IKEA is everywhere, so I don't really need to see an IKEA in Europe. hehehe Although maybe saying I've been to the 1st flagship store in Sweden would be a cool bucket list item to cross off my list. hehe
I'm so glad I stumbled across your videos. Thanks for the suggestion, RUclips. One thing I've noticed in a few of your store videos when you're going through a pet section is that there doesn't seem to be anything for exotic pets, like parrots (I have one so I pay attention to these things). Not even something like bird seed as far as I could see. How/where do exotic pet owners in Japan buy things for their pets?
Are parrots considered exotic pets? hehehe I think that term needs defining, like a parrot or other bird doesn't seem so exotic to me. But a mink or python does. Anyways, semantics aside, you can get that stuff at pet stores. They have big pet stores just like Pet Smart here. They sell fish, birds, hamsters, mice, etc in those shops and they have all the things you need (cages, bedding, food, toys, etc) Thanks for the question and thank you for watching!

Yep! They've got everyone, which is why it's the #1 discount store chain in Japan. ^^
It’s thanksgiving night and I’m totally watching a video of you shopping.
Wooo! Happy Thanksgiving and thanks for watching ^^
So informative and our family loves you
Love this store you can buy ANYTHING! 👍❤️🇯🇵
Would love to see a video of the must-buy items at Donqijote! Subbed🌸🌸
Don Quijote should take a world 🌎 tour
This bring me back 💜. I miss 🇯🇵
Thank you for watching!
I would go straight for all the Pokemon stuff 😂
Best wishes from the U.S.!
You're welcome! Glad you enjoyed the store tour. This store isn't even as crazy as the ones inside of Tokyo. hehehe I'll be filming more soon, so stay tuned!
@@CoryMay81 Rad! Thank you!!
thank you for sharing us..
I miss Don Quijote
I don't think Donki sells fake name brand goods because of Japan's strict counterfeit laws. I think the name brand stuff is discounted, like outlet malls.
Ah, you make a great point! I didn't think about that. Thanks!!
I love Don Quihote store
Love your videos
As always, thank you for watching my videos! Cheers!!!
I loved this store when I was visiting Tokyo.
Would love a gadget tour next!
Alright, Divya. I'll try and think of a gadget place I can safely film in and hopefully not get stopped for filming. hehehe
I don't like poop but I like you so you get a thumbs up. 😆
ROFL Thank you, Suzi!!!
Oh, thanks Puffy! Glad you enjoyed the video and I hope you can enjoy the other content on my channel as well. Feel free to ask questions any time!
For some reason I always enjoy looking at the shoes section in Japan (mostly in department stores in the countryside such as Izumiya and Al Plaza)
-Danny
Oh, that's a good idea. I didn't think about the protein thing. I'll have to go back and take a look at their prices.
Japan has a ton of shoe stores. I sometimes browse the more high-end ones and imagine what it would be like to be able to afford $450 shoes. hahahaha
Thanks for watching, Danny. And it was nice to see you in today's stream from central Tokyo! Happy Thanksgiving!
@@CoryMay81 Yep! The livestream was great. Thank you for your hard work and a happy thanksgiving to you. I saw your thanksgiving KFC meal and it looked tasty!
1:44 Oh damn, they got Toaru ads next to Don Quijote? Absolute chads.
This video was posted on my birthday
Honestly I've always wanted to go to a donki. But this video kind of made my head hurt with how much stuff there actually. Its going to be so overwhelming when I go. Can't wait
Keep your junk nice and tight 😂
Having a back video Corey binge .
I've been to a fair few Donkis in Japan but this one is huge!
Awesome love your videos...if your not far make a video of that big seafood market tjigi I think it’s called
Cosmetics too please! ✨🧡✨
I would be there for 2 whole days. I would have to plot and plan for that shopping!
I sat through this in one go! Go me! :D
But really nice and interesting to see all different things in one store. A true warehouse.
And thanks for not showing us the V's, T's and P's :D
Wow, congrats! I know some people don't like the super long videos.
It is super overwhelming, though, huh?
And don't worry, I wouldn't risk getting my channel banned by showing that stuff. hehehe
Thanks for watching!
I visted one in Nagoya.... thanks for the videos...
It will b great if its a little slower next time.love watching window shopping!
Thank you for watching! I'm getting a little better at it now. hehe
I know this is 2yrs old but in the video you mention the clothing like Adidas and other brands in store. They are all authentic brands inside Din Quijote.
I never been there .Wow many rhings to buy.there.
Yeah, kind of overwhelming, huh! hehehe
Ic. Hope I can explore there next year without covid. Hehe..
Love it.
For Germany I would say, this is a mix of IKEA, Nanu-Nana and Butlers... and those shops which sell things from closure and stuff from the last season. (Rudis Resterampe)
Very interesting! I hope I can see what a Nanu-Nana and Butlers is like. IKEA is everywhere, so I don't really need to see an IKEA in Europe. hehehe Although maybe saying I've been to the 1st flagship store in Sweden would be a cool bucket list item to cross off my list. hehe
@@CoryMay81 These shops are much smaller than the Donki but they have this... mixture with furniture, cooking stuff, dishes and sweets.
Ollie's Bargin Outlet is a store really similar to this in America. They sell a little bit of everything.
I miss this long vids cory teacher! Hope all is well on your end
Hey Jongapong, long time no see. Yeah! I appreciate you watching the video. Hope all is well with you too. Please take care!
They sell fish, birds, hamsters, mice, etc in those shops and they have all the things you need (cages, bedding, food, toys, etc)
Thanks for the question and thank you for watching!
So don quiote is basically a better Japanese walmart..... sounds rad
In America, we have Ollie's bargain outlet. Not anywhere near the scale of this store. But fairly similar!
