I LOVE this soap! The smell, the color, the scent, the clean feeling plus moisturizing feeling. I’m a huge fan of Shea (as well as cocoa) butters. For some reason, these butters really agree with my dry, often somewhat sensitive skin. I’m a Dove fan from way back, but they really knocked it out of the park with this one. I have NO idea how I just now found out about this particular Dove variety when it’s apparently been out for years. Yikes. Better late than never, I guess. Great review as always, BarSoap Guy!

They have 12+ varieties at any given time as well as holiday themed. And it's as fresh as it gets because they cut it for you right in store. 🙌🏻
There's a Dove bar soap that I just started seeing appearing on shelves. I think it might be new but correct me if im wrong, it's Dove Dry Oil. It claims to be a dove bar with argan oil so it should moisturize as good or if not better than this bar. Try it some day if you get a chance I'd love to see your review of it.

Interesting factoid that I bought mine at a local Ross store in a 4 pack at about $3.50 price point but are imported from Germany with Arabic writing on the box. They are a bit smaller at 100g or 3.5oz. I just dont pick up so keenly the vanilla milkshake but yes the wafting of dovesmell vanilla in my restroom quite nice. Don't get me wrong I love Dove too but there's entire world of soaps out there that you should try . Like Shea Moisture's Black African soap or Grandpa's Pine tar bar maybe even Lush's Honey I washed the kids .mmmmmmm
+Chris B you know , if you enjoyed the dove shea butter, you should try the shea moisture raw shea butter bar ..I swear I sound like a Shea Moisture spokesman but it's REALLY good, but only pay 5 dollars for the 8 ounce bar some stores are charging 5 dollars for the 4 ounce bar .
Has this soap been rebranded as "purely pampering" instead of "warm vanilla and shea butter?" I think it's the same soap but without them calling attention to the vanilla scent, which is the same...
All of the Dove derivatives are pretty much the same but if there was one likely to be more moisturizing than the others it would probably be this one. ( I'm saying this because it's been so long since I made the video I barley remember ) .
i love dove bar soaps but the lather or foam is not to great the only time it gets foamy or bubbly is when i'm rinsing off so and i don't know if that only happens to me but its like not as rich as the liquid or something but i think otherwise it leaves my skin feeling great

This bar rocks for fall and winter it’s very cozy and warm vanilla scented and goes beautifully with my colognes for winter ❄️

I really grew to like Shea butter as an ingredient after trying Shea moisture soaps .

It’s also a very solid bar of soap which I appreciate. It doesn’t get all mushy in the shower. My Olay soaps dissolved into a gloop
The dove bars always moisturize better then the body washes I believe
i've been using this soap for 2-3 months now and it's my favorite.it has a nice scent but also is good and not harsh to your skin.

you'd be surprised how often rebranding occurs...it' quite likely that it's the same thing

They are for the most part all moderately moisturizing although there are a few that are slightly moisturizing...

probably not , bar soap and hair don't go well together , I'd suggest looking at some of the Specialty Products for men's beards.

I make a top five best soaps of the year video but with so many products it’s hard to say this ONE bar is my absolute favorite.
