Man I wish I knew about this pack a few months ago. Based on your review and experience with the 65l pack, I bought one in army green and I absolutely love it. No regrets and I would buy it again. I am very impressed with it and I have it loaded and strapped into the backseat of my truck so I'm ready at a moments notice for a 3 day adventure. Kind of a bug/out, or get/home bag that is with me at all times. This 75l looks like to be even better. The two storage pouches on the back of the pack, or what would be the top if you lay it flat, look awesome, an improvement from the 65l. Just when I thought I had the ultimate backpack, something better always comes along!

Just ordered this one. Especially for the frame, the MOLLE and for being able to lay it down and unzip like a suitcase. It looks so organised! I have a DD Bergen 35+12+8=55L but velcro, no frame, wobbly etc. made me change. I have to put too much on the outside and it was pulling so hard on the straps and hurting my back. This one might be big.. but I hope it will do the job!

That's really nice. I did what I almost always do when buying a new backpack: saw one that was nice and ordered it without looking at any others lol. Thankfully I didn't get burned, and as my first frameless bag, I've been pleasantly surprised. I believe it's a 70 liter, waterproof, mildew resistant and nearly indestructible with a lifetime warranty. I would like to get one that's more like yours, with the larger inner storage for certain tents, and some of the things I still want to buy, that would have no problem fitting inside together. But I'm glad that I have a new company to look into, for the more extended stays out in the forest, which is something that I will need. Thanks for sharing your gear and the video. Stay safe out there and God bless!

I was quite intrigued with your critique of the Mardingtop 75L Backpack. In particular the adjustment harness system on the back. I’m a fairly large guy at 6 foot 2 inches & 225 LBS. God bless you for such a wonderful and detailed video. You have no idea how much this video meant to me. I typically do not like and subscribe, but you won me over!!! 👍
I have been studying the Mardingtop 75L and the 65L, not quite sure which to go with; this has helped tremendously - THANK YOU!
I have also read many revues on Amazon about all of the pros and cons on these packs. One thing that I would like to share, not only with you, but with every one else is that I 'always' reinforce all of the stitching with super glue; especially at the high stress points such as the shoulder straps and zippers; this works very well for strengthening those points and longevity.
About 15 years ago, I started out with a Cabella's brand 6500 backpack and have owned several other styles and sizes since. I have literally lived out of a backpack all of these years moving back and forth across America. I plan to watch your video on the 65L next. As of right now, I am using a Swiss Gear backpack made for a laptop [somewhere around 40L] and now in the market for something a little bigger again, but built as well [I'm 60 and don't have much money, never really did].
I carry a tent, lightweight sleeping back, 2 extra changes of clothes, a Holy Bible, a roll of toilet paper, a tarp, and some other small odds and ends. I secure everything into freezer type ziplock baggies to keep them dry and to keep the dirty from getting anything else dirty/smelly. [I never carry food inside my pack; strap it to the outside; them critters like to tear through anything to get to your food].
[I have a tendency to help those in need and have given my backpacks, clothes, tents, etc., away to someone else].
Anyhow, tired of wasting cyber ink. Thanks once again!

The 65+ has the bottom cargo straps, which the 75 doesn't, I like them both, I have the 65+ and my Brother has the 75, I can carry more because of the straps on the bottom of my pack, and the 65+ has the extension on top which gives you an extra 10 liters hence the name "65+10 liter".. they're both great, but because of those external cargo straps on the bottom of the 65+ is the reason I went with it, you really can't go wrong with either though, they're both fantastic packs

I purchased this exact same pack a few months back. I opted to attach the hydration bladder externally in a FILBE pouch on the back, because I didn't want it taking up room inside and being harder to access. Ideally you want to keep water away from your gear, as well. I bought this intending to use it as a get home bag. It may be a bit large for that purpose, but larger bags distribute weight better and allow for greater flexibility. You don't pay much weight penalty for a larger pack just by itself, but if that extra size means you can carry a critical item you might otherwise have to leave behind, it's worth it.

I used this pack for a 3 day hike at marble meadows BC and it was extremely comfortable on my back. The internal fram kept my back straight and with an evenly pack load it was super stable and comfortable on my back. Straps never came loose even after 7 hours straight hiking. The construction is almost identical to the osprey 300 dollar bags at cabaleas however this storage system is better in my opinion. Would recommend this for back country hiking or hunting price to value is extremely high. Try to keep the weight at 50 pounds max mine was at 45 pounds but any back over that will wear out and kill your back. My body weight is 244 for reference total weight 288.

Great review on an awesome bag. I've been gearing up getting ready to do some winter camping here in Colorado this season. I bought the Teton Sports Mountain Adventurer 66L bag and it was too small for all my gear. The worst part of the Teton was lack of any MOLLE to take on my various MOLLE accessory bags. I returned it, watch a ton of YT videos for a thorough review on a good BIG bag and came across this review. Nice job man - you've sold me! I just bought the Mardingtop 75L Army Green bag. I love the way the main compartment is a front load. That will make it easy to organize and gain access to without having to take everything out. And wholly MOLLE!!! There's a lot of MOLLE to work with on this one. I'm gonna be one happy camper this winter.

This backpack is amazing! The possibilities are countless.. so well thought-through by designers. I love it! Delivery was super fast.. I choose premium delivery and it was set for 3rd week of January and I got 4 times a message that it was coming sooner. It was coming Tuesday, which was soon already.. suddenly Monday, suddenly tonight, Friday by DHL. I just packed it with 20kg of gear and I still have to adjust it to my body.. but it already feels great. Thanks for this video. You convinced me to buy it. I think it came from a warehouse in Germany so there was stock.. otherwise how could it come so fast from China? This 75L is one of the topsellers from Mardingtop right now said their Insta. P.S. I'm not affiliated with them.. just very enthousiastic about my new backpack. I have DD Bergen 35L and it didn't fit my gear and the velcro is awful. I ordered olive from Mardingtop so I can use stuff the pouches from DD with my hammock and tarp in the side pockets of Mardingtop 75L. I am going on a month long expedition to Kyrgyzstan and I will be staying in the mountains without much opportunity to go into civilization for all that time. I will be hiking mountains at high altitude and I am debating wether to have this or the more heavier Osprey Aether Plus 70L. Both are good but this just feels soft and cushy to wear not to mention there is no issue at all with space, however it does leech water pretty bad if you don't put up the rain cover. I have yet to test the Osprey without its rain cover. I use Dry bags in any case so shouldn't be too much of an issue.
The Osprey has so many adjustments but it can barely fit a 4 season sleeping bag length ways, it is quite the squeeze and also this means all my other gear struggles to fit. However the Mardingtop can do all of that and have plenty of room for more.
I love the belt on the Marding because the right hand puch actually pushes through and you can store a water bottle in there on your hip belt which is crazy to me!
I would say the slight downside for hiking with the Mardingtop is that it isn't as rigid so it "sloshes" around as you walk and if you are hiking for 8 hours a day then this could get bothersome, but I have yet to try it.
I am stuck between which one to take on my trip and would love to hear any body's expert opinion on which one I should take.

Dartmoor is the last bastion of wild camping left in England (it's a dry run before Scotland next year). In any of those situations I won't be out longer than 3 days at a time so I didn't want to spend £/$200-300. If it goes well then I might :)

Bought a Mardingtop pack on prime day because of your other video. I wish they used this exact design on their 30 and 40l packs tho. It's hard finding a budget friendly top loader in that size that has front access. The Berghaus centurio FA is the only one I could find, but its stupid expensive lol. Should try and get that Mardingtop sponsorship and give them a few ideas ;)

An "Out of the Box / First Impression" gear review.
How much actual longer distance hiking have you done with this pack, loaded?
Most reviews are Out of the Box opinion...I have seen two reviews of persons hiking the Mardigntop packs, loaded, for several miles...10 miles on first hike, 3 miles on second hike. Both reviews show results of material failure...buckles that do not secure the straps (requires continual strap adjustment over time), very weak internal frame setup (weight shifting), etc.

Great review bro... ILBE used to be my favorite packs but this one it's less wide and it has my name on it... jeje... ok. That top pocket shurely has 10 Lts. capacity and as the main compartment has 75 Lts. that is why some times in backpacks appears the numbers 75 + 10 Lts. That gives 85 Lts. full capacity, only that it's divided in two. Cheers... Martin from Argentina by the way.

Just curious how the pack is holding up after some months of use? Some of the reviews on Amazon complained about poor quality stitching and buckles. I really like the duffel-like access to the main compartment in this backpack. Can imagine that it is great for hot-tenting! My only concern is quality.

Mine is still amazing and I have used it alot. I think people may be putting over 70lbs in their pack because its large which is not the way to use it. Mine usually sits around 40 - 45lbs range and thats a ton on gear Including camera gear and filming lights. A common mistake is newbies overload a pack way to much with useless items.

Trying to decide if I should get this or the 65l pack. Both are currently the same price ($70 through Cyber Monday).
I know 65l is a great size for most trips, but my brain is telling me I could get more for the same price with the other pack.

This backpack really cuts into my neck the straps on that go over your shoulders are insanity stiff and create insane hot spots also the waist straps don't tighten up around my waist it's to big but that's because I'm 5ft9 and 150 pounds

    Quick question:
When quite heavily loaded (let's say 18kg / 40lbs) does the hip belt take a significant amount of load off of the shoulder straps?
I ask because my current rucksack is wanting to sever my arms from my torso due to the hip belt not really doing it's job 😂
