omg any tips for newbies?? ive been learning how to play mercy cause i wanna play with my boyfriend but i dont really have the time to learn super complicated characters and mercy seems the easiest character to learn.
Ill give you a list of some tricks, i know im not her but figured id tell you some anyways! i have no idea how new you are, so somw of these might be common sense to you -while you guardian angel to someone, you can press crouch to do a super jump, itll throw you high in the air, thia is helpful when they have projectile characters like zenyatta, hanzo, etc. This is also very helpful with short range charecters like reaper and tracer -mercys rez is fairly lenient, so when you start to rez you can sometimes get behind a piller or something very close by for cover (maybe try learning the range in practice range or a mercy parkour) -the training grounds can help a little qith better movement -make sure to be damage boosting plenty, remember you have a second support (sometimes lol) -if a teammate dies on a ledge, you can GA (guardian angel) to their body and float down while rezzing (if the enemy team is on the ledge where the teammate died) and if theyre below the ledge you can super jump off the body to get uponto the ledge -sometimes if theres a lifeweaver they might put a flower under qhere a dead person is so you can ride the flower up and rez safely -remember mercys passive, she heals 40% of what she heals from other players, so if your low make sure to be healing someone whos taken damage so youll heal aswell (so id your low i wouldnt recommend dmg boosting) -mercys gun does decent damage so if your teammate dies in a 1v1 but the other person is low, you can likely kill the enemy and rez -mercys ult gives her infinite ammo -just general practice is what really helped me, also sometimes watching another mercy play, like in this video or like reading reddit posts for tips! sorry theres so many and sorry if some are common sense, i hope i can help :]
